Our first BMW purchase was 4-5 years ago and it has only been a 5+ star rating since day one. Even with other BMW purchases in the family. But yesterday I had to go in for a tire fix and needed a loaner and to my surprise I got a Z4 AS A LOANER!!! Wow what a treat and what day! Thank you BMW ALWAYS EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS!

It was great knowing I could take a loaner vehicle. As it turned out a two hour routine service turned into an overnight exploration to make sure everything I had asked to be looked at was done! Brian and the service department did a good job keeping me informed and the service on my car done correctly. My car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. Definitely top notch service department.

Thanks San Antonio BMW thank you Mr. Luis Cotto very prompt and professional I didn t get the other gentleman s name who brought me my car he put some air on my tires due sudden drop of temperature he told me to wait at the lounge area make my self comfortable and there s some coffee and other beverages Luis did also when I first brought my car for a recall service my overall experience was great. They finished 3 hours early than expected.

Since 2005, I have purchased three BMW's from this dealership and my current Client Sales Advisor Jerry Aguilera is by far the best I have ever worked with! Yesterday, I stopped by (without a sales appointment) and asked Jerry for a refresher course on a few of the features on my 535. I haven't seen Jerry since I purchased my car last year and while he could have referred me to someone in the service department, he didn't. Instead, Jerry took time away from his busy sales schedule and patiently answered my questions. As a bonus, he also provided me with new tips on how to utilize the idrive more efficiently! Jerry makes it a priority to stay abreast of the latest BMW apps, features and technology and truly wants his clients to experience and appreciate the ultimate driving machine's full capabilities. If you are in the market to purchase a new BMW and wish to experience the knowledgeable, quality customer service (that you expect) from buying a luxury automobile -- then I highly recommend you contact Jerry.

The Service department is more interested in makin...

The Service department is more interested in making you comfortable than getting your car fixed fast.
I needed a wheel lug nut lock key.... I go to the service department and we determine what key I need. Well, that's not in stock. Of course...Then I'm asking them to just use their master key to remove my wheel lock on each wheel so can go back to the tire store and get my new tires. Now my car is sitting in the drive up day...Right there!!! The service director asks me to sit down and fill out freaking paperwork....What? I told him I'll take the damn lug nuts off...Give me the wrench. It will take 3 minutes tops!! He responds well, "Your're not even buying tires from me". Who the hell buys tires at the BMW dealership? Anyway, he says, "I don't get dirty but I'll remove the lugs nuts for you".. Geez....

Biju Pillai at BMW of San Antonio made my car-shopping experience a great one! I do not live in San Antonio, so I wanted to take care of most of the process online. Since day 1 he made sure to contact me and share with me all my available options!! He kept me updated via text, phone calls, and emails on the status of my application, my purchase, and the deals available. Biju was very knowledgable, accessible, and offered his genuine support while I chose my car. Once I chose and signed for my car, he thoroughly explained every single feature in my car and helped me set up my profile...Additionally, even after I bought my car, he called to follow up in making sure everything was going well with the car and to ask if I needed additional guidance understanding my car'a features. While at the dealership office, I also dealt with Mr.Whipple in finance...very nice and courteous man who also provided exemplary service! BMW of San Antonio Tx has provided me with the best service by far over any other dealership I've ever visited. People like Biju Pillai and Mr. Whipple definitely form a valuable part of BMW!

I bought a BMW X5 from them last month from their ...

I bought a BMW X5 from them last month from their loaner pool. After a few days we noticed the driver side sun visor was torn. This was obviously missed on their inspection.

When we attempted to get this replaced they informed us we would be charged for the replacement !

I've been a loyal BMW customer for over 15 years so was obviously appalled with this treatment.

Be warned when doing business with this dealer. Please look into having a formal inspection done by your own inspector.

I'd recommend one of the other dealers in Texas after this. BMW of Austin has much better customer service..

Everytime I service my vehicle they make up excuse...

Everytime I service my vehicle they make up excuses of whats wrong. Once they charge me an outstanding bill that my vehicle warranty even says they are way to costly and wont cover the extra unnecessary charges, I drive off and not even minutes later something else comes up wrong. This place just doesnt care. I will now take me business elsewhere. This place is a SCAM!

UPDATE I called the dealership and this man NEVER returned my call! So I don t understand why he would reply to my message to call and not answer. It is a shame!

The worst. We drove in from out of town to purchase a vehicle, we had our Challenger as a trade in with equity. We also had our pre approval letter. We were told the car was sold as is however they'd do an inspection and check everything. They advised us of an oil leak and we said, "no problem we can fix that." However a week later, I took the car to another dealership and they informed us that the vehicle needed the front CV axles replaced. They couldn't believe bmw sold a vehicle with worn/bad CV axles. I texted the sales man and informed him of the trouble. He said there was nothing they could do and that the manager would contact me. Well... He has not. Very frustrating because they could make us a happy customer by fixing the problem, but instead no, they refuse to. Definitely not the trouble we'd thought we would have with a dealership.

I wanted to share my experience @ BMW Center of San Antonio. Yesterday, March 11th I purchased a gently used Toyota Tundra from them. I wanted to share how AWESOME the people here treat their customers. I certainly appreciated their "one simple price" approach with used cars. Made the comparison process much easier. The financing they offered me was superb and it was done super fast. Finally, when I was walked to my new truck, it was impeccably detailed, with a full tank of gas and a sincere "Thank You" which is so often forgotten these days. Special recognition to Jenny DeHoyos and Don Wilkinson for their exceptional customer service.

If you are looking for a new BMW or Mini, come to San Antonio....These people are great!

I had a great experience at BMW of San Antonio. I am from the Rio Grande Valley and shopped around for the vehicle my wife and I wanted but the BMW dealership down here did not want to negotiate on price...they said "we don't need to since the vehicle will sale anyways".

So, I then looked up BMW of San Antonio and was contacted by their salesman Mr. Barraza. I did even have to show up at the dealership, I ordered my X5 over the phone as to my needs and Mr. Barraza sent me a quote with all possible discounts. It was awesome. I had great discounts and not only that but I didn't have to go over to San Antonio until I picked up the vehicle. Final price at signing was the same given to me in quote. No hassles, no lies just honest and strait forward.

BMW of San Antonio was fantastic in the whole buying process! Alan Hernandez is perhaps the best salesman I have ever dealt with in buying experience. The buying experience was easy and comfortable, two words I thought I would never use in buying a vehicle. I feel as if I got a great deal and personal service. The closing agent was also friendly, efficient and effective. I highly recommend shopping at BMW of San Antonio! I will be back there when I purchase my next car!

I had a very good experience at this location. My salesman Jorge was GREAT. He showed me all the features of the car and walked me through the entire process and what to expect. During the finance process Michael was INCREDIBLE, we joked around while filling out the paperwork and again he was thorough in explaining pricing of additional products etc. My only disappointment is with the team that cleaned my trade in vehicle. I left My Military Disability placard on the passenger side vanity mirror and called to have someone hold it only to be told it was not there. Someone from the team clearly took it and now I am having to pay out of pocket to replace it. The part that upsets me the most is the lack of integrity and honesty of whomever cleaned the trade in.

This was our first time at BMW. We were very fortunate to work with Tim Navarrete. He was just hands down one of the best sales consultant I have ever purchased from. He first helped my wife and I narrow down the vehicle based on what we were looking for in a car. He took his time going over the vehicle. Explained to detail every feature the car has. Test Drive. And once we made the decision, he even went the extra step on the paperwork to make it as painless as possible. Always great to work with someone that lets you make the decision with no pressure. Had to wait in line almost 30 minutes even though I had an appointment for a simple oil change. After waiting that long I was then told it would be at least an additional 2 hour wait.

Worst system and service I have experienced in years.

Stay away unless you have hours of time to kill!

Well I found a few vehicles on Auto Trader & the vehicle s were available however when I got to BMW the vehicle s that were listed as certified we re NOT certified so make sure you ask about ALL the details before you go. I drove 2hrs to get to San Anto I got there at 11am and didn t leave until about 6pm. Keep this in mind when going there especially if you have children. They have an area for you to wait with snack & drinks which definitely helps & an outside area where the kids can run around & you can wait there as well. There are also places to eat right across the dealership within walking distance if the wait gets too long.The salesman was very kind & did his best to help me. He always stayed in communication with me throughout the buying process that s very important. The finance guy was also great. I am happy about the service this dealership provided. I will be back for my next vehicle and do recommend them to anyone.

Our family is blessed to have 3 BMWs, however we received an even bigger blessing when Ricky was introduced to us as our service manager.
I have been buying cars and having them service for over 50 years and I can say, without any equivocation, that Ricky is the best service advisor I have ever had.

* He has a gift for remembering his clients names after his first introduction.
* He will always greet you with a big smile and a firm handshake. By my third visit, i felt like we were family.
* Ricky is also incredibly competent and capable. He knows his stuff and when he tells you something you can be certain that it is correct and the truth.
* Ricky also seems to take a personal interest in your vehicle. Ask him a question and he has the answer. Inquire about a cars status and he's got it on the tip of his tongue. Finally, when Ricky returns your car to you, you can be certain everything has been done and done right.

I could extol Ricky's attributes for pages, but let me summarize by assuring you that if you ask for Ricky to be your service advisor it will be among the best requests you ever make.

It was very nice to have someone explain everything to me as I know nothing about cars... It was also great to hear that the service center will be getting a huge upgrade and moving to a larger location!! Its a bit cramped over near the airport but despite that Toni took THE BEST care of me!! If you have any needs at BMW I would ask for him....

Great Experience! Daniel Mazuelos searched far and wide because I had very specific color and interior requests. He was professional, courteous and attentive. He followed up frequently and made me feel that my business mattered to him. I drove all the way from Houston. He took the time to show me the car and all of its features. Once we had settled on the car, the rest was seamless. Michael Whipple the finance manager was honest and very helpful. It is the by far the best experience I have had buying a car. I even got to stop and have a quick dinner at PF Chang's on the way home. I would go back again!

I recently experienced a tire failure on my BMW. Moreover, I was visiting the Medical Center late in the afternoon when the problem surfaced. I called BMW Roadside Service, and they were quick to dispatch a tow truck. Excellent!
I anticipated a problem in arranging for a loaner from BMWSA on short notice, and very near the Center's closing time...not to mention rush hour traffic. I called Lou Gatti (Svc. Mgr) for help. Without fail or hesitation, Lou arranged for the delivery of a loaner to my location. Exemplary!! Thank you Lou, and also thanks to your staff who made all this happen. You are the VERY BEST!

Update: I feel the need to update my review below ...

Update: I feel the need to update my review below because of the quick response I received from the dealership. I was contacted by Don the morning after I posted the review. He personally made sure the botched paint job was fixed and made right. Very professional and efficient.

I had written a 5 star review a few days ago but I think I spoke too early. The dealership took my car to polish it and they ended up messing up the paint in the hood. Worst part is they tried to cover their mistake by painting a line with a paintbrush, hoping I wouldn't notice. It literally looks like BMW hired a 3 year old kid to do the paint job. Personally spoke to the manager, Don, but haven't heard back from him or anyone at the dealership to tell me what they're going to do to fix their mistake. Extremely disappointed. This is the 2nd car we get from them in less than a year, I would have expected better treatment being what they call a "loyal" customer.

The salesman we dealt with, Gabe Martinez, was great but he kept excusing himself to talk to someone else who we never met and after an arduous 4 hour period, we left without a car because they kept raising the monthly payment on us. We bought a BMW at Cardenas BMW in July and the differences in our experiences was night and day. At Cardenas, the buying process was way more pleasant. I would not recommend this dealership. I got the impression that they do not deal honestly with their customers.

My experience with BMW is that it is a racist organization. I have dealt with 3 different dealerships and unfortunately receive the same poor customer service. Not sure who the technician was who worked on my car the last time I brought my car in but he knows what he did to my suspension. Now I have to send it in to have it repaired. I removed the knobs from the adjustable suspension for a reason. I believe that BMW dealerships share negative information about customer complaints and when customers go to other dealerships they receive poor treatment. I'm done with BMW. You'll never get another dime from me. Retired military veteran served 21 years and I find it rather sad and unfortunate that I even have to write such a negative review. But I would be doing a disservice to others if I didn't. Basically my car was vandalized at the dealership. Whoever worked on my car should be fired!

Haven t purchased a vehicle from a dealer directly in over 10 years have used only auto brokers . Not only could an auto broker not deliver the car I wanted but could also not offer the incentives and financing that BMW of San Antonio was able to produce . All business was conducted either over the phone or by email , as I was out of state . This was surprisingly an overwhelmingly positive experience . Have to give a shout out to my client advisor Johnathon Mitchell , truly went above and beyond in representing me and my best interests making sure I was completely satisfied . This has been a great experience , would not hesitate to go dealer direct with them in the future !!!

My wife went in for a 0800 appointment this morning and did not leave until after 11. Odd for an oil change and fuel system service. I tried calling about the bill because it seems my wife was charged twice for the same item. Unfortunately the Service advisor Marissa was out to lunch. I asked the operator Linda to pass me to a service manager, but they too were out to lunch, or so they said. One of the following either Mohammed, Anthony, or Albert told Linda to inform me that I had to wait until Marissa returned to speak to me. So much for customer service. My wife stated that it seemed that no one knew what they were supposed to do in terms of checking a customer in. That should have been the first clue as to what kind of experience she would have there. They need to take a lesson from Richard Torres at Cavander Chevrolet in customer service.

My sales advisor was Yvonne Garcia. I bought an X6 from her and everything from the building of my vehicle to the delivery process (with a great big red bow on it) was truly a magical experience. I've owned plenty of BMW's but I can honestly say that I've never been more in love with a vehicle than I am now! My X6 is everything I could've asked for and then some. None of this would have been possible without the careful aide of Yvonne. You should really contemplate hiring more advisors like her.

Robert Gomez is hands down one of the better service advisors I've worked with, I would recommend him to anyone who gets their service done at BMW. He makes the process smooth and when problems come up he makes sure they are thoroughly addressed. The Overall Service experience has definitely been getting better with him around.

My first visit at this BMW location, and I was totally impressed. My appointment was at 11am, but I arrived almost 30 mins earlier since I wasn t sure how long my drive would take. I was dropping my vehicle off for its annual service, so I was needing a loaner. Unfortunately, there were no loaners available. Fortunately, they were willing to have a shuttle service to take me back home in Converse. I received a text message from Luis, informing me that I can text or call the number if I needed anything. I received another text about two hours later, informing me that my vehicle was ready. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Luis explained what was done, and made suggestions to have checked during my next service. The cashier was pleasant. The driver was great. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Awful Customer Service in the, ironically, "service department." The employees and the manager working there are rude, unprofessional, and poorly trained. They tried to overcharge for service that was covered under my warranty and argued with me about it! The owner needs to make sure these employees are better trained, more respectful, and actually know how to do their job so that they arent overcharging people.

A while back I bought some parts from BMW and it didn't correct the issue I had
with my vehicle and BMW would not allow me to return then for a refund. I am not just a shade tree mechanic I know what I am doing. so I decided to get the same parts from Wrench A Part (Junk Yard) and the issued was resolved that alone should tell a person to be ware. Well I took the same BMW in fora recall ( Air bag module). When I picked up my vehicle I noticed the air bag light was still on and I was told that the Module had nothing to do with the air bag light. I was informed that they could diagnose it for $179 I chuckled and left. The next morning I was about to wash the vehicle do to morning dew spots and notice some damage to the passenger rocker panel, I called BMW and sent them pics and of coarse I was told it did not occur while in their position. And was told that they did not have photos of that part of the vehicle and I say how convenient. I fixed the issue with the air bag light myself and well I guess I will have to just eat the cost and the damage as well. YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME IN YOUR BUSINESS AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY I KNOW HOW I WAS TREATED BY BMW.

I don't normally write reviews but I had such a good experience at BMW of San Antonio that I feel it's necessary. Right away, as soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a very friendly hello and was approached in a manner comfortable to me. I usually get nervous and end up feeling very awkward at dealerships. This was not the case this time. The associate I was working with, Mr. Brandon Baber, was very professional and at the same time related to me as if he had known me for years. This made the whole experience a pleasure. Although I didn't end up buying as the timing was just not right for me, I know if I do decide to buy a new vehicle it will be from BMW of San Antonio and Mr. Baber.

I had a great experience working with this dealership. Everyone was very friendly and professional but my salesperson Lisa Robinson was the icing on the cake! I worked with her via text when I first inquired and she gave me all the information I needed about the car, sent pictures, she worked hard to get me what I wanted. Lisa continues to follow up to see if I have any questions. I not only found the best salesperson but i also found a friend! Lisa has my vote!

I have been here for 6 hours and STILL don t have the car I came in to purchase for my daughter. I came in 2 days ago and narrowed options down to two vehicles and filled out paper work. We returned today so she could choose car. Six hours later we are still here. The car which we purchased has paint damage that they never noticed.

BMW of San Antonio is the best dealer I have ever shopped at! Alan Hernandez was outstanding! He took us on a couple test drives of different vehicles and then let us put the two cars side by side twice so we could make a decision. He was very patient and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. I cannot praise my sale experience more and will definitely be coming back in the future.

I used the USAA car buying service and they referred me to BMW SA. Everyone I worked with from Tim Navarrete and Mike King in sales to Craig McCully in finance was responsive and easy to work with. My overall buying experience was very good. They worked out the European Delivery details and now all I have to do is head over to Munich to pick up the car.
