There is no such thing as a pleasant experience when purchasing a vehicle, but Brad M and Bluebonnet Ram are about as close as it gets.
Have purchased many vehicles over the years, and this was a smooth process. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for new vehicle.

My 3500 got stuck in 4th gear. 3-5 days to get it looked at. I'm at 8 working days and still waiting. This is a recall part I'm told. I will NEVER send my truck there again. I have been very patient and have not complained a bit. I'm sure I'll here more excuses why if I call. Don't bother with this dealership unless you want to waste time and wait.

Just want to let people know not to go to this dealership. My parents bought a truck from them it was used and yes sold as is but the truck only made it 15 miles down the road before the front wheel started to make a horrible noise long story short the front end on both side had to be rebuilt. You might say sold as is but the sale manager said no problem get it fixed and send us the bill. Now they will not even return their call !!!! So not only does this dealership sell unsafe cars and trucks they lie to their customers as well, so don't buy their cars and put your love ones at risk in unsafe cars and be lied to in the process it is dealers like this that give them all bad names!!!!!!! I rate them less then zero!!

Very unprofessional staff at their used car lot. Drove in from out of town looking for a 2015 Tahoe, that I saw on their site. The sales crew avoided us like the plague. We walked inside and the woman at the front desk seemed to be unconvienance that we disturbed her and had us wait for a few minutes before she could help. After a couple minutes she attempted to direct us to a sales staff member. Again, they all stated they were busy (even though they had no clients, that I could tell). We then decided to leave to another dealership since nobody wanted to help us with our search. As I proceeded to get into my vehicle the sales member who was too busy followed us out. Asked what he could do to for us. I let him know that we were leaving and he proceeded to roll his eyes and walked away. I attempted to contact their management team to inform them of this encounter and did not receive a call back, as promised. On the plus side, I found the same vehicle for a lower price with extremely friendly staff, at a different dealership.

I brought my 2006 dodge ram in for a recall and I was immediately greeted with a smile when I pulled up on to the service drive. They gave me a top of the line loaner truck to drive to work while my truck was being repaired. The staff was friendly and prompt. I really enjoyed the experience.

Great car buying experience. My wife and I were looking for a first car for our daughter. After looking at literally hundreds of vehicles on various websites, we finally found one @ Bluebonnet s website that matched the criteria that we were looking for. My wife called and talked with Robert and told him what we wanted to spend. He called back after speaking with his manager and said done deal. We went to look at the vehicle and while inspecting the vehicle, we discovered that there was minor hail damage to the vehicle. Robert said they could remove the dents and several days later we returned to inspect the vehicle and as promised all dents were removed. Robert promised to make sure the work done to the vehicle would meet our expectations and he delivered 100%. I want to thank Robert and Bluebonnet for making this vehicle buying experience a pleasant one. Will recommend Robert and Bluebonnet to others. Much respect.

Called from out of state to look into a vehicle. The salesman cut right to the chase and was business first which I can appreciate. After getting some additional info, I asked How much flexibility do you have on the price? The salesman replied Hey man, I ve been doing this for 32 years and we sell 100 trucks a month. We don t do that here. The upfront and very direct attitude of the salesman was intimidating. They had the exact vehicle I was looking for and at a reasonable price point. The guy made me feel like I was wasting his time when I just wanted to get some information to make an informed decision.

Edit: Response to owner- Sure, as long as it s not the same salesman. Don t want to name and shame him though.

I initially gave this dealership a glowing review based on my first experience with them. Let me tell you, the second experience was the exact opposite. I arrived 30 minutes early for an 8:00am appointment to get an oil change, and new oil and fuel filters. I waited for 4 hours and 30 minutes!!!!!! When they were "finished", they said they couldn't replace the fuel filter because they didn't have one in stock. So, 4 hours and 30 minutes for an oil change on a 2012 Ram 2500. Now THAT'S how you lose a dedicated customer.

I cant reply to your reply so I'll put here and I'm now attaching pics of the text conversation with your sales team. original review below still.

****** Bought 3 RAM 2500 Vans over the past 18 months. Spent over a hundred k to buy all three. We had our 14 month old truck with 40,000 miles blow a hose and warp heads out of nowhere. Nothing covered under warranty because they said we carelessly drove it for weeks like that. We had it serviced 3 days before this happened and there was nothing wrong with the truck when we had it serviced, no engine lights, no temp indications, nothing. Chrysler would do nothing told us it was our fault. We called Bluebonnet asked them if they could do anything since we just bought three trucks from them and they told us no. A true Mark of a company is what they do when something goes wrong and they told us to go kick rocks after buying three trucks from them. We bought brand new trucks so we wouldn't have these kind of issues and when something went wrong they told us oh well. A new truck shouldn't be blowing hoses. We didn't even care that it happened because nothing is perfect but we expected something of some sort of help to help us fix it. Definitely will not buy any Rams for our next few trucks this year and will never buy from Bluebonnet again. So disappointed to spend this much money as a customer and to be told nothing we can do for you.

Take truck in shop for check engine light on ram 2500 cause check engine light kept coming on. 16 days later and no rental car help. Get my Truck back with dead battery, windshield wiper sprayer not working and driving down the road my rear brake on driver side comes OFF. They just replace rear seal. And if you want any info on what going on with your vehicle trying to call them and get answers is ridiculous. You will get more answers banging your head against the wall. Worst service from the people and shitty mechanics.

Thanks to my friend Joe Downs I was talked into going back to talk this dealership. So my family and I went back. Well the experience was great Jacob and his manager were very helpful. No hassle no issues the smoother experience that I have so far on a dealership. The only think that I was surprised about it is that RAM does not have a loyalty incentive. At the end of the day it was a good experience and great price.

t service department I've ever had to deal with. They are full of empty promises and are very disorganized. I would not recommend buying from them, I bought a 2012 dodge ram and when I was looking at it everything seemed fine and it was "certified " so I didn't have many worries, walked out the door with it, they did a crappie job cleaning it stains were still very present and it smelt sweaty still. Layer I found there were dings all over the truck that was masked by the dirt, a/c wasn't really working that well, a seat belt was messed up and a door wasn't put on correctly or it was bent slightly so it was a little difficult to close correctly. After I found all the flaws I immediately took it to the service department to get it fixed. Come to find out they could only schedule me in two weeks later and 3 days after them having my vehicle, they haven't even touched it. When I asked another technician he didn't know anything about it, you would think there would be communication so that anyone could answer the phone and give information about the vehicles, simple notes and updates on their system should suffice. Well the only response I got was I could speak with the service department manager on monday! Needless to say I will never buy another vehicle from any bluebonnet dodge again. The headache has been too much to deal with and I've never had such total disregard for the customer.

They tried to sell us a broken down falling apart used car literally visibly falling apart. Tried to pressure us that it was a good deal just because the type of car it was. When we refused and walked out the manager and the salesman ambushed Us in the parking lot after coming through a side door in the building and stopped us. Deceitful rude and condescending and wouldn't buy a car from this place if you paid me to do it.

Horrible! Bought both of my cars here.My wife and I are happy with them. The service dept however is less than the 1 star I gave it. About a year ago i brought my 200 for an "express" oil change. I clock in at work at 9:15 am. I pulled into the service department at 8 am. I explained to the person attending me my schedule. He said no problem. I'll be in and out. They took my car back around 830. Before that I saw cars coming in after me and being served before me. At 9am i reminded them i clock in at 915. No worries they said, it's on it's way out. 915 i told them I'm late for work. Again they said the same thing. 930! I have my car back. I work 8 minutes away. When they gave me my keys. No apology. Nothing. But they happily took my money.
That brings us to today. Yesterday afternoon my wife rolled her window down. When she went to roll it up she heard a pop and the window didn't move. We decided to bring it bluebonnet this morning. My wife and I called yesterday and we were both told service dept opens at 7am. The website also says 7am. My wife goes into work at 8. The plan was we would drive two cars. Drop the van off and i would drop off my wife at work. We arrived 7am on the dot. The gate was closed. An employee saw me but didn't acknowledge me. At about 715 another customer pulled up behind me. He made the remark that they open at 730. He had been there before and they weren't open at 7 like the website said. My wife and I waited till 737! Gate still closed. Employees walking around. No acknowledgement. We had to leave. My wife had to work. I'm more than disappointed.

My wife and I drove to New Braunfels from San Antonio to purchase a specific Ram 1500 Laramie (None available in SA with my specs). Our experience there was exceptional...we were helped by Marcus (Sales) and Michelle (Finance). They were both professional, personable and fair. As we finished, my wife and I agreed the entire experience was pleasant and that we would recommend them.

This was my first time ever buying a car, and over...

This was my first time ever buying a car, and overall there were a few things that bugged me about this place.

1. When I bought the car, they did a terrible job washing it. A few spots in the interior were covered with a sticky residue that reminded me of spilled soda.

2. They didn't put air in the tires, and the front driver tire was missing a cap on air valve.

3. They didn't change the oil. The car has an electronic "oil life" display, and the car's oil life was at 30% when I bought the car. If I'm buying a car it should have fresh oil.

4. They didn't fill the gas tank all the way. They put enough gas to get very close to the F but after driving a few miles it quickly reached the 3/4 mark.

5. They charge a "dealer prep fee" for the above services, and in my case they weren't done well. If you're gonna charge me, at least do the work I'm paying you for.

6. If you point out flaws in the car and suggest that the price be adjusted they try to intimidate you and make you look like a fool for mentioning such an idea.

7. The lady in finance, Michelle, took two days to send my bank the purchase order. I called her the second day at 11am and asked if she could do it that day so we could complete the process. I was told it would be done in 10 minutes. I called back an hour later and it still hasn't been done. I asked if she could call me when she does it, just to let me know. I never heard back. I ended up hearing from my bank the next morning when they received it. Thanks for the communication, Michelle...

Overall, I'm pleased with my car. So far it seems to be working just fine. It just so happens that they were the only dealership around that had the car I wanted, but if I had the choice I would take my business elsewhere.

Colby Moore helped me with the preventative maintenance on my 2010 PT Cruiser . My timing belt was due replacement . The repair was done ( excuse the pun ) in a timely manner . Colby , as always, was very cordial and professional . This is our second Cruiser . We bought one there in 2003 ( a new one ) . Regretfully , Chrysler no longer makes this ideal vehicle for us . When it comes time to buy a new car that matches the specs of our Cruiser we will go elsewhere for a car that meets our needs . It will have to match exactly . Maybe Chrysler will see the errors of their decision . Meanwhile , we will continue coming to Bluebonnet for our car needs .

With passion, I hate dealership service departments. Even though I have only visited Blubonnet once so far, I have to say that they exceeded my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by the service level. I would have given 5 stars but the tech left dirty footprints all over my drivers side floormat.

Just got an excellent deal on a 2012 Toyota Yaris from Bluebonnet...$1500 less than the asking price for a 2011 (with 15,000 more miles on the odometer) here in Austin.

Our salesman, James, was great. Very laid back, helpful but not pushy. I would definitely recommend this dealership and this salesman in particular.

Bought a 2016 Ram from Jovanny Chasqui at the end ...

Bought a 2016 Ram from Jovanny Chasqui at the end of January and was very pleased with the overall experience. That being said, I did not try to haggle them down as the price advertised with a rebate from FCA was a price I was comfortable paying. The only complaint I would have is that a fee was included when I signed the paperwork for window etching/undercoating. I didn't say anything about it then, but brought it up when the truck was done with the make-ready, I noticed that the etching had not been performed. I informed him that it was not a service I felt I needed and it was removed from the paperwork. So word to the wise, let the salesperson know up front whether or not you want this, even if they do not bring it up.

Sleazy and overly aggressive. They did not want to show me what I wanted and it did not seem like they wanted to answer any of my questions before trying to get me to sign a contract. We have been shopping around for a RAM 3500. Looki...

We have been shopping around for a RAM 3500. Looking at prices Bluebonnet was higher than the other dealerships for their posted price on the truck we wanted, but we figured that just meant they had more room for negotiating.

When we arrived it was hard to find parking as you literally pull in right off the main road. The whole setup is like a small, old fashioned used car dealership, not the "number one volume dealer in Texas." When we went into the entrance we weren't even sure we were in the right place as the waiting area was fairly small and to be honest a bit run down with seats that cave in to the point you almost fall through the frame when you sit on them.

They did have a little play area for children which I realized about an hour after being there. At no point did any employee direct me toward it while I was struggling to keep my 6 yr old and 2 yr old entertained. Neither did anyone offer us any sort of refreshment as is standard at any dealership selling new cars.

We sat in the waiting area alone while employees just walked by without making eye contact. At one point a pretty weird acting employee made a weird comment to us, but no one looked like they wanted to help us.

After about 20 minutes of this, my husband wandered into the maze of cubicles to find someone to help us. Luckily he managed to find a salesman who would deign to help a customer. My husband showed him the print off of the vehicles we were interested in. The salesman had to go get them from other lots including one across the road so it took quite a while to actually see the vehicles.

After looking at them they moved into negotiations. My husband wanted to know their lowest price. The salesman said what was posted. What a joke, the crew was more expensive than a fully decked out Laramie Longhorn we had just looked at from another dealership.

My husband tried to negotiate and even showed the posted price of several other dealerships with the higher level trim and options which were less than the vehicle price for either of the ones the mid grade ones Bluebonnet was selling. My husband made a firm offer in writing and they didn't budge. We said okay, if you don't want to offer us a fair price we are happy to go to another dealership and pay less for a nicer truck. They let us walk out.

We started to get the kids in the car and realized my son had forgotten his Camelbak cup in the first vehicle. My husband tried to go back inside but they had locked the door as soon as we walked out. It was 8:10pm. He knocked on it and when someone finally came he explained the situation.

He was told the salesman had already left and had locked the keys in his desk. Basically cared so little about the customer and doing right by them that they couldn't even be bothered to return our property that was accidently left in the vehicle. We never received a follow up call about purchasing a vehicle or returning our son's special cup.

From start to finish they showed how little they care about customer service. And this was in the romancing stage where they would be trying to convince you to buy from them. I could not imagine how much trouble it would be to get them to treat you right if they already had your money.

Bottom line: I would never consider this dealership again.

Updated to 4 Star. Bret, the sales manager, personally called to rectify the experience we had. We personally appreciate the effort less than 24 hours after writing our first review. Bret said he would personally take care of the issues we had and made it apparent that what happened in our experience is not the norm. That is a key sign of a good business, correcting mistakes made and ensuring it doesn't happen again.

Initial review. 2 star overall, however, don't expect it to be quick or courteous. People are running around unorganized. Vehicles are in different locations. They are concerned about volume and getting vehicles off the lot. Not too concerned about customer service. So, recommend going somewhere else unless you just can't find the vehicle your looking for anywhere else. Make sure you also get accurate clarification on all the numbers, miscommunication and failure to clearly articulate the true options and payment numbers led to paying more than expected.

I applied for financing at end of day and get hard inquiry on my credit and have to wait next day on response. They sell it to customer who walks in next AFTER hard inquiry was made. They DON'T care if they ruin your life and credit and don't take care of their potential buyers obviously...I DON'T recommend...they asked if I would give a non refundable down payment to lock it in would be only way...even if I was denied they would pocket the payment...the only way to lock in the vehicle after THEIR carelessness and disrespect

Online listing said "No dings or scuffs" on this v...

Online listing said "No dings or scuffs" on this vehicle from BlueBonnet Dodge. I drive 2+ hours and of course there is scuffs & dents that are noticeable. They come off on the price for that, so we agree on a price, sign paperwork agreeing on a price and shake hands. but "the truck was just traded in and not fully serviced yet". So I have to come back 2 days later. Another 2+ hour drive there the vehicle is done "being serviced", so I test drive it to make sure everything's ok. Turns out ok so i'm filling out some more papers for the salesperson, then go outside to get my current insurance card. I come back in and then the salesperson informs me "I'm sorry someone just sold the truck".

I was furious, I immediately ask for the manager. Young unprofessional guy named Harrison. Here's how the conversation went:
Manager: "You didn't pay for the truck 2 days ago"
Me "It still needed to be 'finished on the service" and salesperson said we couldn't test drive it because it was after hours. I'm not paying for something I can't test drive first."
Manager "I'm sorry it's sold"
Me: "We agreed on a f'n price, signed papers, shook hands, and I literally just came inside from test driving it and your going to sell it from up underneath me?"
Manager: "It's still sold"

I had nothing else to say to the HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL excuse for a sales manager "Harrison". So I drove home 2 more hours with no truck when they knew I was paying in cash that day. Dug into it deeper the next day with a phone call to one of the owners and turns out someone offered them $3k more for the truck and Harrison took it knowing it wasn't right to do us like that & he's being "dealt with over this situation". Owner did say he wants to "make it right" for me but could only offer me another newer truck but it was going to cost me $13k more than the original one I had agreed on them with. I declined the offer but I'm just glad these crooks didn't make a dime off of me.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Needed to purchase a new vehicle for my parents du...

Needed to purchase a new vehicle for my parents during a short trip here in Texas. Parents getting older, going from two drivers to one & from two vehicles to one... Spent our first day traveling across Northern San Antonio to more than a half - dozen different dealerships test driving & gathering information. Found the vehicle she liked best & after compiling our massive pile of offers into what we wanted to target I then looked online for selection.

We were close to Blue Bonnet and they had an overwhelmingly larger selection of on - the - ground (almost 50!) models we wanted. So to start our second day, I went out ahead to scout the options. Walked into the dealership & was greeted by Rodney. I explained my purpose & despite me being light on specifics, Rodney was very patient with me. He took me to the back of their on site selection & while we weren't able to find one there, we hopped in and took a field trip to their main lot... Selection galore! Rodney was understanding while I walked the aisles of Pacificas, several times. We notated several & met my parents back at the dealership.

We were able to find a perfect match for what my parents wanted, Rodney took down the information for both of our trades & took the info to the desk. The sales manager (one of several) Brett Westbrook came out & delivered the first offer to us himself. He was upfront, honest & very personable. We felt appreciated and our time respected. I expressed our preferred end point & even though it was not easy, Brett took our offer back to see what he could do... He was able to exceed our desired prices for the trade ins, and come down even lower on his car than any of the other dealerships I had contacted. My parents are thrilled with the car, our process in finance with Michelle was incredibly smooth and swift no pressure for additional aftermarket items or upselling.

The longest part of the entire process was waiting for the car to be detailed /washed & gassed. But really, who can complain that the dealership took TOO much time cleaning your brand new car??!?

Seriously satisfied, incredibly impressed & forever grateful for the staff & experience at Blue Bonnet Chrysler Dodge. Thank you!

The finance department employees are fantastic & have excellent customer service, as does one of the sales managers (i didn't get names of whom i spoke to unfortunately), however i have a negative experience with Al. If i could return the car and buy it from a different person, I would. After a particularly frustrating ordeal regarding warranty issues with a car i bought less than a month ago, i called Al to get some clarification. I was met with an attitude, and he literally could not take 2 seconds to pause and listen to what i was saying. I had to repeat myself so many times and HE DID NOT LISTEN! At all! He had the nerve to say, "for the THIRD time" in regards to what he was saying, even though i could not do what he was suggesting, and the issue needed more than what he was suggesting, but of course, he would have known that if he listened the first time. I was transferred to about 3 different people and whoever was in charge of transferring calls cut me off before i could explain what was happening. This attitude is not how I'd like to be treated as a customer, but i still give them 4/5 stars because of how the other 2 employees handled the situation. Whoever was working in the financial office on 5/30/2020 around 11:30 am was wonderful and sympathetic. As was the sales manager i was transferred to. A little compassion goes a long way, especially during these times, and i hope Al realizes this for future customers.
