I came in with an appointment to have a recall done. I asked about another recall, which luckily they were able to take care of. However, the first one, for which I had an appointment, they didn't have the parts. Really?

They also diagnosed an issue for $80 and offered a tune up which I had done a year ago.

This is still the place I go when I have dealer only issues/parts need. Staff has always be helpful and courteous.

I recently purchased a 2017 RAM Lone Star pick up. The truck and the whole process was wonderful. The price was thousands below other RAM dealers and my salesman Rodney Taylor was awesome. Rodney made sure I got the truck I wanted, all the discounts I qualified for, and the process was quick and easy. He explained all the features, filled my truck up, and got me on my way. I had a tool box on my old truck I wanted to keep. He had thier "make ready" team remove it and install it on my new truck. Rodney even helped me move all of my tools and stuff from the old truck to the new truck. I highly recommend Bluebonnet RAM and Rodney Taylor for your RAM truck needs.

Our company, Charitable Auto Recycling, have bought our parts here for years. We have had our Ram 5500 in for service a couple of times. I have stopped in with the 5500 for service questions and each time the parts and service department were courteous and helpful. It s hard to find a dealership with this kind of business ethic these days. They always have the parts we need and if not, the next day for sure. Can t say enough good things about these guys!!! Keep up the good work.

Just moved to the area, called to schedule an oil change and they don t take appointments. Brought it in and I ve been waiting now 2 hours and it s still not ready. I ll change the oil myself before I ever come here again. The service advisor should have warned me it would take this long. Never again

Went by early on Memorial day, guess cause Im young and brown not ONE person looked my way nor cared to come assist me and my wife while I was looking at Challengers in the lot, 3 salesmen just walked past me. Spent an hour inside as well waiting and I purposely stayed quiet and not one person cared to ask if I needed help. Eventually we got hungry so me and the $5,000 cash in my pocket left. Bought a 2018 challenger at north star dodge and hour later. Cant believe so many salesman did just walk past me and smiled but they catered to the other older white folk obviously. Unbelievable.

Disappointed in service department. Shady up-selling tricked my wife in to thinking she need a "BG Performance oil change" also known as snake oil. I have bought 5 cars through them in the last 6 years, I love working with Rodney as a sales guy. I have to say I hate the service department. Tricked my wife out of 50 bucks.

Always room for improvement. Staff was great. The building its self was kinda old, but was very happy to work with Kerstan. I was tasked with a job to find 6 flatbed trucks for our company. i called several dealers and asked for an out the door price on 6 units. they did not return my calls. I called Kerstan since we had bought one truck 1 year prior to wanting 6 more. and he jumped on it. in fact he was ready with trucks in stock before i found out we were leasing them through Enterprise. Kerstan was very patient with us, and even had some trucks outfitted before we signed anything. the deal was done and we now have those new dodges in our fleet. Since then i have sent him 2 guys, one who bought a brand new Laramie Ram 3500 dually and the other was a used Chevy Duramax Dually. Both were happy with my recommendations.

Buying a truck from here was an awesome experience. The salesman I had (Chris P.) was courteous and not pushy at all. I told him what I wanted, he helped with me with selecting the right truck for me. Overall, he made the shopping and buying process so simple. Our finance manager (Brad) was also a great guy, very professional and courteous. I will definitely come back to Bluebonnet Dodge when the time comes to purchase another vehicle.

I had a great experience at a car dealership...how did that happen. I am actually looking forward to buying my next vehicle.
My sales person Brad was great from the time we talked on the phone, during and after the process. It could not have gone better.

Then I went to finance and meet with Dave. Great guy. He made the process super easy.

Lastly, the price I paid on my vehicle was incredible.

My mom and I bought a used 2012 Jeep liberty from here. Doug our sales person was amazing and very friendly and so was our financing person. However, it took almost 2 weeks to get it to me at the start. That isn't the only issue though. When it was finally able to get to me only 2 days after it came off the lot I had a bad alitator that took forever to find. Then a week after that the engine light came on and the service people LIED to my mom and dad saying that the issues were something they were not and that the EXTENDED WARRANTY that my mom and I bought wasn't going to cover it and it would cost $600. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BUY from this place

I am writing a review for the service dept at Bluebonnet Dodge. I will never take my vehicle there again. They were supposed to warranty a panel that had some buckling in the middle of it. I brought it in over a month ago for them to look at it and let me know it would be covered by warranty. He said we would schedule a time for me to bring my Durango in once the part came in. I had to call them several times to ask if the part has come in. Then when it did come in, I again had to call them to find out, no one called to let me know they are ready to work on it. Now that my Durango is in the shop (has been for 6 days, 4 business days), I have to call for updates. I had to call to find out that they would have my Durango for the weekend. That's the only way I found out that the panel they ordered didn't fit and they have had to order a new panel to see if it would fit. They gave me a gas guzzling truck as a loaner. The service advisor is rude and seems to not have a care in the world. I do not plan on going back to Bluebonnet for ANY service my vehicle may need. This has been the least pleasurable experience I have ever had with a dealer.

I am more than happy with my experience with the service department. I had Steven Hui as my service advisor and he went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy. I'll admit, I felt a bit out of my element as a women when I bought a big dodge truck and it needed to be taken in for service. I was intimidated and worried it would be such a pain. But they took the time with me and were very comforting. They also solved the issue so quickly and I am no longer worried when my truck needs service. Thank you Bluebonnet Dodge Service Dept. and especially Steven.

They are real quick to take your money, but when it comes to fixing issues with your car take it else where I literally bought my 2016 Chrysler 200 brand new and a week later it rains, and I noticed that it had water in the headlight, so I took it in they said they fixed it, but when I looked at it with closer inspection, the bumper was not fastened right, so I said fix the bumper that way it looks good, so they took it back. they call me again, mind you this is over a 3 month period I took my car back at least 5 more times for the same issue and still it was not fixed properly at the 6th I just gave up and asked if I could take it to a body shop. The service department sucks here, horrible customer service and The manager is an ass to boot. I wish I had never bought my car from this dealership I will never be back, still to this day I still haven't gotten it fixed, its not worth your time and money. shop somewhere else. what I paid for the Car I could have gotten myself a Nice Chevy Truck. I will never go back to this place ever.

I can stick my finger into the bumper and the part of the bumper where they dropped something on it and chipped the bumper was never repaired correctly. It also took more than 5 trust me i went back several times and missed work because of this. Also if you give me your email. I will gladly send you pictures.

We had a great experience at Bluebonnet Chrysler yesterday! Brad Murphy found the truck we were looking for almost immediately. They have a large lot of Rams to choose from. Compared to other dealerships the price was right and the features on our new Ram are outstanding. I highly recommend this dealership. Brad is easy to work with and I never got the feeling I was being pushed to buy something I didn t need.

The best! The process was easy and relatively quick! The salesman was very honest, not pushy, and helpful. I highly recommend this home town dealership. We purchased the new Pacifica Hybrid and drove up from San Antonio. They have the best prices and most helpful staff of all the dealers we visited. We will be back if we have need for another car. Thank you!

Called and scheduled my ram to have 4 recalls addressed. Was told all parts are in Stock and we will have a loaner for you we will take a few days for the recalls. Showed up 15 mins early for the 8am scheduled appt. Patiently waited a little over 30 mins. When it came my turn I was told "We can't find you in the system, what's your name again". Then he said can you come back? We can just call you another time when we can get you in. I drove 45 mins to get to this appt. I will NEVER come back or recommend this dealership due to their unorganized service dept.

UPDATE: I would highly recommend San Antonio Dodge. They are MUCH more organized and took great care of me. Not to mention its a much bigger, newer and cleaner establishment. I have been several times now to their service and parts departments and have been extremely pleased.

Bought a new Dodge Hellcat here in 2017. Also purchased extended warranty and wheel warranty. After about a year I had a bent wheel. Took them a year and several visits to identify this and get me a new wheel. Along the way they charged me $75 to rebalance the tires. Finally I had to call the warranty company and tell them what's going on and they approved the new wheel. Made an appointment and was supposed to go in and swap it out in an hour. But service didn't have all parts (valve stems ect...) So I ended up waiting about 8 hours at the dealership. Rene service manager promised me they would send me a check for $75 for the tire balance but they never did. I called them twice to follow up. After I got the new wheel had to immediately go to Discount Tire to balance the tires.

So we went here looking for a car for my son. Afte...

So we went here looking for a car for my son. After looking around and speaking to the salesman we sat in the office looking through their inventory and found one that worked a little above the price we originally started at but still seemed like a good deal. So far the experience was ok. We go to financing and was told our options and that everything looked good to go and be able to take the car home. I was not ready to sign paperwork without a hard approval but was pressured in "getting the deal done" and was assured that they could get the rate we wanted with the down payment and warranty we requested that everything was good. So we put the down payment down signed all the paperwork and took the car home. The next day we get a call and was told tgey got the interest rate we wanted but needed to change the contract and take one of the warranty off the deal that the bank kicked that part back. So we go back sign new paperwork with one of the warranty gone and that price removed from the buyers order. So we think everything's good no mind you I really wanted this warranty. Well a day goes buy and we are looking through the paperwork and all though the warranty tgey took off on the front end they changed the price of another warranty on the back end that the finance guy makes commission on so tgey take something off to look good to the bank but add more money on the back end and raised the original quoted price of another extended warranty. So the warranty they took off [that I really wanted] that the bank wouldn't finance tgey just added that price to a dealer warranty to make that commission and then added a different service oil change warranty for two oil changes for $300 extra that we didn't ask for. So make a long story short after going round and round with the finance guy we drove to the dealership and spoke to a sales manager who completely understood our concern and said what the finance guy did wasn't right. Re wrote our contract and gave me the warranty I wanted at cost had to put a little more money down [$100] and took off the inflated price of the additional warranty that were added. And our payment went down. So the sales manager made it right and did the right thing. If you decide to use this dealership just make sure you know exactly what your signing for and don't rush the process make sure everything is good before you sign and be cautious if the finance department. I left names out of the review but there's only a couple finance people there so just be cautious. Would I buy from them again??? Maybe, but I will be more intuitive to what's being signed and costs of everything. There a too many other dealerships around for them to be shady and devious with changing prices to make more money.

I also recently used their service department for my truck and had a pretty decent experience. They charged me exactly what they quoted and saved me some money so kudos so far on service.

I went to Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge to look at a used vehicle not intended on buying that day. My sales men- Greg and Mark (great guys) showed me the vehicle and I test drove it and fell in love with it. I was still hesitant to buy but Mark was very friendly and explained the process to me step by step and I went for it. The financial manager- Robert was wonderful, as I was still hesitant the used car sales manager- Harrison came in and work wonders. The people at this establishment are great not pushy or anything! I purchased my 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT with confidence in knowing I received a grand deal and have an awesome perfect running vehicle that will last a long time :-)

Had a major engine issue, took my challenger in and was told the engine needed to be replaced. Stephen worked with my warranty to get the issue resolved. I never had to make a single call, got me set up with a rental and even a loaner when the warranty would extend my rental. Stand up guy, kept me in the loop every step of the process. I never worried about a thing. Let me know exactly what I was going to pay and had no surprise fees when I picked my car up. Thank you for everything you guys are 5 stars and more.

These people here at Bluebonnet Dodge are the best. Whether its sales or service their the nicest people. They always have a loaner car if needed. Northstar Dodge never has a loaner and you'll have to have one if you go there. I am so Happy that I switch to Bluebonnet Dodge! I even bought a new 2018 Dodge Challenger this past Feb. 2018 and I love it. It's my 3rd one.
Way to go Bluebonnet Dodge!

The service department is terrible. After receiving a safety recall notice from Chrysler for a faulty alternator, we tried six times to have the part replaced. We were told they didn t have the part and not to worry about it. They would not even put us on a waiting list. One day, in traffic, all electrical elements stopped working. My wife was able to guide the car to the side of the rode and it rolled to a stop. She called the dealership and was told to call a tow service and they could get to it in a few days. She called the Chrysler complaint line. We soon had a tow truck out there and were told it would be fixed that day. It was, but Bluebonett charged us for the tow truck even though we repeatedly brought the car in to get the faulty part replaced. Thankfully Chrysler headquarters reimbursed us for the towing charge that Bluebonett Chrysler made us pay.

Called for an honest offer advised that I could negotiate as well and was paying cash. Kevin told me cool Ill ask manager and call back. Kevin calls and says can only do 11200 from 11995. I offered 9000+TTL. I was willing to offer up to 10500+TTL. But before I could Kevin stated I was just another caller who low balls (lowball @ 4K- do the math Kevin its a 3K difference) them with no intention of coming and then says he doesn't negotiate and if that is what I want don,t shop Bluebonnet. Well guess what Kevin, I wont since I am just "another" caller and you don't negotiate. Funny how in 2002 when I bought my wifes car from Bluebonnet the nice lady did negotiate and was happy to hear what we wanted from the deal. Better change your tactics on phone calls Bluebonnet, Kevin just lost you a return customer. I wont spend my money at a place that rolls me into a general shopping populus. I'd spend more to be treated like a real customer.

This post is a little late since I bought my new R...

This post is a little late since I bought my new Ram in March 2017, but the experience is worth sharing. First, this is one of the best dealerships I've ever worked with. The volume of vehicles they push for such a small dealership is a testament to their customer service and level of appreciation shown to each and every customer.

I went into the dealership in late February, 2 days before actually buying, after seeing a truck on their website that interested me. I spoke with salesman Dave Fuller for about an hour and a half, and after the numbers weren't favorable for me at that time, we shook hands and parted ways. I was never given the merry-go-round treatment most dealers give where they try to shave a few $$ here and there just to keep you in their building while they jerk you along.

Starting in early March, Ram introduced their Truck Month savings, and for grins and giggles, I decided to check their website again. Including the new/additional savings, I determined that I might be able to get the vehicle for a more favorable price against my budget. I emailed Dave with an offer on both my trade-in and new vehicle, to which he agreed. The rest is history, as they say.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase, even more than a year later. Dave is a salesman who doesn't play the stereotypical car salesman games, and Bluebonnet as a whole has a lifetime customer as a result. New Braunfels is a bit of a drive for most San Antonio customers, but it's well worth it if you want to get a fair deal from a customer service team that treats you like a customer, and not a mark from which they can pick your pockets. This is my 3rd vehicle purchase from Bluebonnet (two from BB Dodge/Ram, one from BB Ford), and I've not regretted any one of those purchases to this day.

Make the trip, it'll be worth your time.

I would give this dealership 5 stars because of Dave fuller and Bob Hasbrouck. These two gentlemen are the reason I bought my second vehicle from Bluebonnet Dodge. I still have my opinion about the service department, but I don't want you to think the sales side won't take care of you. If you want a great price and no games, ask for them because they will give you the best deal and do everything they can to get you the vehicle you want. Dave does not try and upsell or downsell you. They got me a better interest rate than originally said. Make the drive to this dealership and you wont be disappointed. They gave more for my trade than boerne Dodge and Nyle Maxwell were offering. Thanks Bluebonnet Dodge. I will be back to purchase my next vehicle from you. Another down fall to this dealership is the GM will reach out to you in response to the review, but when you reach out to him you will not get a response back.

Because of my experience described below, I will never frequent Bluebonnet dodge again, either for purchase of a vehicle, or service work.

I needed work done, set an appointment, and brought it in on time. When appointment made, said I needed an estimate before work was done, in case it was real costly, I would have to prioritize the jobs.

I asked when the estimate would be ready, and was told by 9 am. At that time, asked what the estimates were, and told it is still waiting to be sent to a technicians for estimate, and told by 11 am. They would be ready.

We live over 30 miles away, and had to coordinate with my wife regarding picking up instructions.

At 11 am, checked, and was told it was still sitting there, and had not been looked at. I asked, if I had an appointment first thing Monday morning, then what good is an appointment, when I have to wait a half a day for an estimate. (note, a few years ago, I drove in mid-morning, no appointment, asked to check something out and it was done within a half hour, given estimate, and left. There was NO CHARGE for this estimate).

I came back at 1230, it still was not done, but working on it. It was done in 10 more minutes, got the estimate, and had sticker shock! Over $5,000!. I had to go home, think about it, and prioritize and schedule what needed to be done first.

He said he would bring the truck around, and prepare a bill. A bill for what? For giving me an estimate. I Never heard of such thing. Do not know of anyone else that charges for an estimate of work to be done. I was charged over $150 for the estimate. That $150 made Bluebonnet Dodge just loose a 20+ year customer.

Because of that, I will never go back to Bluebonnet Dodge, and since it is related, Bluebonnet Ford. I have bought both fords and dodges there for 20 + years. But never again. Further, I will tell all I know of my experience there today.

Terrible customer service, doesn't even deserve on...

Terrible customer service, doesn't even deserve one star, but that's the minimum to post a review! A word of advice to potential customers, never complete a purchase from these guys until you see the vehicle fully detailed. I purchased a truck that was shown to me while it was dusty and dirty from being on the back lot even though it had been for sale for a couple of weeks; not sure why it wasn't up front. I didn't really have an issue with it being dusty when I looked at it, but when I picked the truck up after the paperwork was completed, the truck had been fully detailed and I noticed that the driver's side of the bed had been repaired. The body and paint was terrible, with sand marks all in the paint all the way down the side of the bed. I pointed it out to the salesman and he just shrugged his shoulders and told me "well, it is a used vehicle." Yes, it was a used vehicle, but why would you sell a fairly new, low mileage truck with sub-standard repairs? You trust a dealer to thoroughly inspect vehicles before offering them for sale, and to at least be honest with any issues related to that vehicle. WRONG! Bottom line is that they absolutely do not care about their customers, will not at least attempt to make anything right and hope you will just go away if they ignore you long enough. This was the fourth vehicle I have purchased from a Kahlig owned dealer and it will be the last. There is nothing more I would like than to be able to trust the local dealership in New Braunfels, but Bluebonnet Dodge has completely ruined that. I would rather drive to any other dealer in Texas than trust these guys one more time!

Trust the sales team just as far as you can throw them.

I found a great certified pre-owned ram at this dealership. After test driving I noticed a drive line vibration, I brought it up to the salesmen and he assured me for the price, it would be taken care of. After agreeing on what I thought was a fair price. I signed a few of the papers making sure the vibration fix was listed on the paperwork with the final sale price. Then they said they would call me when the truck was fixed and ready so I could pick it up. When I came back to pick up my truck I found that the vibration was not corrected. My salesmen said he was going to get a manger to come out and discuss what could be done, because I still intended to leave with that ram. After explaining the situation to the manager his response was " If you don't like it don't buy it".
Not only did this dealership go back on their word but I have never seen such a low level of professionalism from someone in a management position. I would not recommend this dealership and I certainly would not recommend the manager Rick Tatum.

So I called Gregg Lutman and set it up.I rented a car, drove 1,344 miles and on a Sunday night started signing papers in the dark !! Had to wait till Monday morning to have it check out.I was alone, 62 years old, [No fool like a old fool my not-so-understanding wife has said] and was told it had computer issues and needed some repair .Did not sound good to me with a 19 hour trip home. It was a nice day so I sat on a cement block out front. I quit a 45 year smoking habit 6 weeks before this, But I got to thinking,I drove over 1,300 miles alone, bought a $45,000 Hot Rod at 62 years old, my wife of 37 years called me the [old fool thing], and I"m retiring in 7 months. So, I walked across the road and got me a pack of Marlboro"s and begin to smoke. I had not seen Gregg, my salesman since I signed the last paper.I could have looked for him but i did"nt have to before the paper signing !! I think that is a car salesman"s way of moving on !! But, when my car came out of the shop I was confronted by someone with a stance that told me I could trust him and he was going to make things OK ! His name was Colby Moore and he did put me at ease that everything was fine. I really appreciate the time he took to explain all that went on with the finest, fastest,bad--- car of mine. Thank you Colby, May the Good Lord take a liking to you !! Ben Elliott

Our senior sales person, was very condescending! We were preapproved and cast off, to a sweet kid that had just started, The car that we test drove had no AC. And our senior sales preson ???? came out and blew us off after the fact, leaving this poor kiddo to handle his job. Lastly, the vehicle we originally wanted and had done a deal on via internet sales was no longer available after they said it was?? Vets turn away, and run! Take care of your new hires Bluebonnet, show them the trade and invest time in them! Dont throw them in the den and turn your backs on them. After this whole occurance this senior sales person never showed his face again and left this brand new associate with us holding the bag. I hope she finds a better place to work her hearts in the right place, But Bluebonnet obviously doesnt care!

Beware of buying used vehicles from this dealer. They take damaged vehicles in on trade. Fix none of it, and resell them for full MSRP resale. Then they will give you the run around and try to make it seem they are not at fault. They have not heard the end of my story, this is only the beginning. Make sure you thoroughly look over any used vehicle you buy from them, and dont get any service done there either, they will leave your vehicle worse than it was when you brought it in. Will never take any vehicle of mine into their shop.

I love this Dealership. They treat me so good. I've bought two New vehicles from them and they treated me fairly each time. Best salesperson I've ever dealt with. Jorge Ramirez is number one salesman. I recommend that if you are looking for a vehicle he is the one to go see.

I drove from San marcos just to get it fixed. Ran my codes but turned me around. They need to get their s h I t together

I want to take a moment to give positive feedback to Marcus Medrano at Bluebonnet Dodge on Seguin St., NB. He took the initiative during the entire process. Great communication and follow thru. Very knowledgeable and all around great personality. I always dread buying vehicles and dealing with the sales process. Nope...not with Marcus and Bluebonnet Dodge! I highly recommend him and them.

The salesman I encountered tries to frame the price of the vehicle on my monthly payment. I insist on focusing on the sales price rather than the monthly payment because you can play around with the sales price, interest rate to get to your desired monthly payment. Not even tried..
