Even though we didn't have great weather, we had a great time. The shops are fun. The restaurants are enjoyable and the overall atmosphere is positive. You can tell people enjoy spending time there
The shops/restaurants here are great, but boy does it suck to have to pay to park all the time.

A nice place to walk around, but generally a shopping center full of mid- to upscale shops. Mostly chains, but lesser accessible chains like Crate & Barrel.
I have live in west Hartford for ten years, I have really gotten to know Blue Back Squar so i could t Lloyd you where the good stuff is, I would first hit Barns and Nobals maybe get a cappuccino or you could go to the library they have a wii u so me and my friends play Super Smash Bros. Or if you like burgers there is a really good burger place. So maybe if you wanna get away from the city you could go the west Hartford Blue Back Squar
Nice upscale area - thoroughly set up with parking meters. In the center is the library for the town children. No one can visit the library without paying their dues to the Parking fairy.
Is this is how a town promotes literacy for its children? This kind of decision making reflect that the center of value and concern is money and not the people.
Blueback is an interesting place but not something I would come to often. It's mostly eaters, real estate offices and financial firms.
Loved it. A lot of good stores there to visit and shop at.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! So much to do, so much to eat....The atmosphere is gorgeous and posh, and it s such a great place to hang out. Highly recommend coming here more than once!
We lived just a few blocks away during the zoning and construction stages and the first few years of operation. Nice addition to West Hartford Center. Great for strolling and the Barnes & Noble bookstore has hung on. The movie theaters were a very welcome addition. The complex has had its challenges in a rapidly changing retail world but still a good destination.
Great town center. Gets boring after walking around for an hour or so though if you don't drink.
Blue back is always a nice place for a stroll. Restaurants, bars, shops, lots of places to sit and just relax.
Great assortment of shops, restaurants, and the parking is easy and affordable. New places continue to move in and it's always very clean there.
From a quick bite to casual to upscale joints , no need to walk far.
I've gone here for seven years and it never gets old. Theres always something interesting going on, they've always kept it up to date
I love Blue Back in the summer time. It's a great place to walk around and grab a coffee or tea. Do go to the Green Tea house if you get the chance. Ting is an awesome owner and she is very informative and friendly. All the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about tea and how it can help benefit your daily activities.
Love this area and everything around it, esp in the summer time.

This place is a hidden gem. The host and staff were very welcoming. The soft music in the background was awesome. The food was beautiful, fresh and well worth the wait. I would definitely go again.
Don't care for Blue Back, have too sell your first born to buy something there!! Not impressed.
Plenty of places to hang out, great food and usually great entertainment in the square where music artists love to play. This place is the definition of hitting the town

Went there more for the restaurants than the shopping. There are several great restaurants in there. Never walked into any of the stores.
First time eating at The Cheesecake Factory.. I Had the Pork Belly Sliders, Fried Cauliflower in a Spicy sauce n French fries.. My Friend had a Chicken Dish that was really good too(cuz I tried it) w Mashed Potatoes n a Caesar Salad..Everything was D'LISH
Will visit again w my Sons SOON.
It's always nice to take a walk here. Nice shops and restaurants, but you most likely will have to pay for parking? Whole foods here is opened until 10.00 pm.
The Best! Eat-Drink-Shop. I'm a big World of Beers fan for watching a game and having a beer. Actually, my favorite restaurants are all in the Center.

Great shopping close to metered and indoor parking plenty of activities, restaurants, outdoor activities during weekend. There is a super market near by. City Hall is around the corner and I 84 is near by. It is a good place to visit
Never shopped money wise, window shopping only there, just take my husband to a doctor's office close by.
Urban shopping, food and residential area.....A great glimpse at what might be our new small town concept in a 7 block radius IMHO
So many places to visit in the mall area. Everytime I am in town I will visit this square. Barnes and Nobles and Charley's are my favorite places to go.

Due to the high rents and leases very overpriced but you can find bargains in some of the retail stores. Blue Back is clean. Some of the decoration around the trees are way too wide for safety reasons or the little border walls should be higher on them. Parking is pretty easy to find if you go off hours or on a Friday night after 7 p.m.
Some nice shops, but lacking in variety. Probably a good place to shop if you're a local, however there isn't much for travelers.
