I have loved this place since I found it. There are places to eat that are amazing and great places to shop!

A little cold walking around but lots of interesting things to see

I'm in love with this area! U definitely don't feel like Ur in Hartford CT... Enjoy the Cheesecake factory! We've been just a few times but even as busy they are you still get treated like their not busy( if that makes sense) & OMG if you eat here & don't try 1 outta?30 Cheesecake your crazy.... I forget the name of dish I HAD but will get it again!

Visited an excellent REI location. Parking was tough.

Don t expect huge malls or anything but in such space, you can find good stores/restaurants/libraries/multiplex.
It s quite beautiful and scenery one.
In night, it looks got makeover and so beautiful it is... My pics are from when X mas was around the corner.Worth a try and it s is hardly 2-3 miles from downtown

I would shop here if they didn't charge for parking

The best area to walk, buy and meet great people in West Hartford. Very clean and organized.

Area is the Mecca of great restaurants in CT. Something for everyone

Has everything you could want. It's pricey, but that's the area.

A nice uptowny experience. Parking in garages is convenient, but Blue Back is very congested. There are several restaurants and lots of shops.

Lots of parking and access to the local library! There is a Barnes and Noble with a cafe, shopping galore, a few nice restaurants and a movie theater

Everything was closed at the covid times so just took pictures nd came back. Nice place of book stores and resturant

Pay to park. Upper scale shopping. Very busy. Dress to impress if you want anyone to pay attention to you in the stores.

West elm, Crate and Barrel, Charming Charlie's, Barnes and Noble and finishing off with Cheesecake factory

This is a fresh place to take a walk around. It's great for shopping, eating, and fun!

Ho-hum. It's small and there isn't anything to do but shop at a limited amount of specialty stores. Few choices for food.

I love blue back square! There are lots of cool shops, nice bars and restaurants. Some evenings there are musicians performing at that little stage next to the public library and the cheesecake factory.
It's always fun to go there!

Nice, clean. Parking horrible for handiable. Few if any marked spots besides the garages which defeats the purpose of being able to park closer to where you need to go. We (handiable) should have the opportunity to get out as anyone else

The place is called Spot i couldn't find it on the map. Awesome breasfast food.

World of beers great sports bar with tons of TVs, good food and friendly staff!

Horrible parking. Got a ticket even with a handicap tag in my window.

Maruichi Japanese supermarket is the best market in Connecticut

It was Awsome, my Daughter just got engaged and they treated us with love, great service, friendly. Great menu,delicious food and you must come and check this place out. Is like being inside a King palace. No joke!!!!! I ended up walking around and checking out the cool structure, painting and style of this place. Before you leave, try to leave some space for their yummy tasty cheese cake.

Lots of great shopping options here. Love going to the REI - it's my favorite place here. There are also a bunch of great places to eat. If you don't know what you want for dinner, you can always come here and walk around until something strikes your fancy. Parking can be a bit if a hassle though. You have to pay for something close or hike a bit from free street parking in the nearby neighborhoods.

This is a great place to visit to find a little bit of everything. From Barnes and noble to boutique shopping to great seafood to happy hour to a paint bar... there is plenty to be found. Most enjoyable in warm weather when you can walk around and explore comfortably. A great stop for a day of Christmas shopping too!

Pretty much everything you want: clothing, food (LOTS of restaurants); services...plenty of parking...best town center in CT!

Great place in downtown West Hartford that has all of the essentials. There's tons of different restaurants, stores and grab and go places.
Very popular during the spring and summer as some outdoor events are held in Blue Back Square, and first Friday's swing dances are held here too.

It's we-ha busy, crowded with lots of rude people who can't use the words, "excuse me or thank you". Only came here for the library.

Walk around between luxurious shops and fabulous dining, the vibe here is chill and relaxed; Go for a beer with some friends or take you girlfriend out for some shopping and dinner

Parking is not great, but there is a garage. Plenty to do here: Whole Foods, a variety of restaurants, small locally owned shops and a movie theater.

Not impressed at all, place is way over priced, if you just want to just walk around and widow shop its a great place. Otherwise plan on maxing out your credit cards.

Cheesecake Factory has consistently fresh, delicious food. Great burgers and phenomenal fudge cake!

It's a place to go if it's the kind of place you're looking to go to. Otherwise, it isn't.
