Place was awesome. I Called at noon to become a member, i was able to reserved a lane for same day at 2pm. Staff was nice and seemed to care what you thought when finished shooting. Pistol Range was clean, great air flow. The only thing negative was that I bought a box of 100 rounds and 1 of the bullets in the box wasn't even the right size nor brand and had a deep ridge line all the way around it, didn't fire it, I actually returned it to them and told them what was up with it other then that I would recommend this place for sure 100%.

Bought a new duty pistol for work, they beat buds price by $15, and only paid $6 for background check. These guys know their stuff and they have some good gear. Not everything they have is on sale, but not everything is the most expensive in town either.

Great range too, 100yd rifle range in town is rare. This is a top notch civilian firearm training facility and shop. If you need gear, training or a place to practice they have you covered.

Great ventilation, fair range rules, well lit, and knowledgeable staff. I ve worked in a few ranges and this one is my favorite. Only reason I m not giving 5 stars is because the RSO s have forgotten to give me back my ID on a few occasions. This is the responsibility of the RSO when they re checking you out of the range. This is the only range I ve been to that retains your ID even if your not using a rental gun.

The only range I go to in town. The military discount is great all the staff treat you with respect. The thing I like the most is that they do not breath down your neck when you're Shooting unless you make a safety violation. The range is in awesome condition and well ventilated. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend going.

Two female friends wanted to get their CCL and asked me to go with them through the class, I was happy to for them, but WOW what a bunch of sexist, concieted, degrading "instructors" they have! I am retired Law Enforcement, shot competitively for years and was on the department Sniper Team. I could outshoot any of them without question. The entire class is referred to as guys, the shooter is always addressed as he. There were several comments made about "how women shoot" and was all I could do to stay calm for my friends sake. Of course they wanted me to challenge them to a shoot off to prove they were insecure about themselves and idiots!
I do not nor ever will recommend this range.

The team at BluCore is truly second to none. From taking my first shots in September of last year to becoming a member, a training member, and attending multiple classes the staff at BluCore has been able to instruct proper fundamentals from the very beginning. Safety is #1 priority and they have a great way of letting you know when you're screwing up without being a total dick about it.

Always great for advice on builds, body mechanics, principles, decision making process, and making sure that you can AVOID a fight as much as possible but if avoiding isn't an option that you'll be ready.

Ignore the folks who just wanted a quick "day at the range". That's not what this place is and I'm fine with them not sticking around.

This is a place without ego where you come to get better.

Made a special trip out of my way because I was told they had ammo in stock for a decent price when I called. Got to the location and suddenly it jumps from 25 to over $60. Granted somebody made a mistake, but that shouldn't happen. At least not such a big difference.

I m new to owning a firearm and came in to look for some ammo, didn t know really what to look for, guy kept eyeballing me like I was sketchy even coming up to me multiple times to check me out when there was at least 6 other people in the store and only 2 employees. I didn t do anything besides look suspicious when I was reading products I suppose? Decent ammo price though.

Highly recommended as a newbie that just bought a pistol from this place which was Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm M2.0 . Blucore Pistol 1 class was great with providing knowledge that every beginner gun owner should be aware of and guides from fantastic instructors.Thank you Nick and thank you for your service Mark.

Been there twice and they are super judgey, the first time I had about 1 thousand in my pocket but certainly don t dress/look it and wasn t helped in the tiny sales room which doesn t ever seem to happen to have anything to accommodate either two popular brand handguns I was searching for (they did have compatible parts but ridiculous pricing and didn t want to give the workers at each time any business).

Second try I was treated like a criminal and barely helped again but the Asian guy happily trashed my pt-92 and kept talking about his little m&p shield or a small Glock 9mm (I assume) and how great it is to myself a bit and my girl even more. She had asked about 380s and he went on trashing everything other than 9mm all while flashing his open carry firearm. Was no help and seemed to have good convo with other worker who then grabbed at my gun I had been showing the worker and after me explaining it was mine then went and confirmed etc.

four letter word to all you guys there i will avoid at all costs. Range may be alright, shop sucks

Never have I ever been more embarrassed by someone at a range than I was today. After getting done with shooting here, I was constantly and horribly harassed by one of the employees here, about being LGBTQ. He repeatedly used the wrong pronouns with me and my partner, and refused to change my partner's name on her account. "unless you're nicer to me". What an @$$! I used to enjoy going here to go shooting, but after the way I was treated today, I will never be returning.

Great employees, definitely worth the money. Great selection in targets. Their rentals were clean and had great quality. If you don't have a case they'll lend you one. Honestly can't say anything negative. Love that they had many versions of the XDM's. Definitely will be back again.

Great range. Super clean and friendly staff. However, I bought a "finger gun safe", and when I brought it back same week they said it was defective -would not open just clicked... They would not exchange nor return and told me to take it up with the manufacturer. - Thank you for making this right.

It is quite challenging to shoot at BluCore unless you're a member, indeterminate wait times is not realistic. The rifle range could use substantially more lighting and sound deadening. Time to find a new spot or just go back to public land...

Not even a star. Lets say if your at the rifle rang less then 30 minutes its $20, more then 30 minutes at the rifle range will cost you 32 per person. Next time ill do 30 minutes. And leave. + dont go if they refuse to pay 20 for 30 minutes. Make sure you tell them before entering the rang and start shooting. They will charge alot more with out your knowledge of how long you where there fore.

I honestly wanted to give a 1 star review as to steer people away from here so that I can have this place all to myself. Unfortunately I am not a Billionaire so I cannot support this place to stay open by myself, therefore I think everybody considering a membership or even just a one time/first time shooting experience, try Blucore!

I really want to like this place--absolutely beaut...

I really want to like this place--absolutely beautiful well ventilated pistol and shooting range and shop that is clean and brightly lit and has some ex-mil working there. 2 issues just kill it for me: 1) Range management needs major help in customer service and policy. Have gone there twice with a buddy and each time we paid for a lane each ($30/hr, not cheap) and wound up being asked to share a lane both times after a short time. Rifle range lost a target carrier both times I went there, taking it from 5 to 4 lanes. Last time I went I specifically asked if I could sight in multiple rifles. This takes time and there was no line. I was told sure, take your time you have the lane as long as you want it. Start to set up on range and no range bags, guy next lane over has hogged them all from all the lanes. Ask attendant for bag rest of some sort and he says "sorry, dont have any more" and would not ask the guy who has them all to share (even though the bags are clearly marked which lane they are supposed to be in) Ok, fine, I'll improvise with my rifle bag and was told no, it might catch fire! What? ok, lets just get shooting as this has all ready eaten up 20 minutes. 25 minutes later (55 minutes from time I entered range) I was tapped on shoulder and told I have 10 minutes as there are now other customers waiting. What happened to "take your time, you have the lane?" Nope, sorry buddy

My son was murdered eight months ago . I came to BluCore Shooting Center to overcome my fear of guns as he was shot in front of my daughter and I.

Due to circumstances I no longer can afford to be a member here and I only have two of my three family members. I came in to cancel my membership today hoping that it would be an easy process. I was told that I cannot cancel my membership in person. I can only email an Administrative Assistant to do so.

I was just charged the Family Membership rate yesterday and simply wanted to cancel it and possibly do a lesser membership.

After finding out that number one I cannot cancel in person and number two I have to email an Admin who will not be able to get back to me until next week and number three asking them to make an exception due to my circumstances, I am incredibly disappointed and feel completely unheard and unimportant.

I then asked to speak to a manager who apparently I was already speaking to you and told him that my frustration is that I have spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars at this location not only for membership but purchasing a gun and equipment from them. And that it felt terrible to be told that they could not help me.

He looked at me like OK whatever.

I asked if there was a manager above him and then he proceeded to tell me they've had turnover and there's no one else to speak to.

The reason I am speaking on this platform is to hopefully get a real manager to hear me.

How is it that you can purchase your membership in person? That you can purchase a gun in person? But to cancel your membership you have to email an Administrative Assistant?

I guarantee you this young man will not take my concerns to whomever is in charge and I angrily walked out saying that I guess what I had to say wasn't important to them and apparently it's not.

This is a terrible policy and extremely member non-centric. I would warn you about this policy and also encourage you to invest your money in a nicer more modern facility for the exact same price and better customer service.

Took a one hour private class with John and it was awesome. Very knowledgeable and good info. I don't know much about guns and he was very patient and made me feel a lot more comfortable being there doing something I don't know how to do....if that makes any sense. It is kind of intimidating to go into something and have no clue what you are doing...especially shooting a gun. He made me feel a lot more comfortable so I could take in as much info as possible. Definitely will be taking more classes with this place. Thanks!

Pretty disappointed. Saturday there was a 2 hour wait. Understandable! And zero help from upstairs for a technical problem I was having with my gun other than send it back to the manufacturer. So we decided to show up before they opened today. 5th in line. 1 lane down in rifle range and a 2 hour wait again. I understand its busy and it happens but I couldn't even put my name down to hold a lane and go take care of other stuff while I wait because I'm not a member. This is discouraging of wanting to go again. I will stick to my normal spot.

I am a personal assistant to a gentleman who had paid for a lesson online on BluCore's website. When I was tasked with calling BluCore to set up a time for the lesson, Dustin/Justin(?) answered the call abruptly and with an attitude of being inconvenienced before I even began speaking. Once I asked how lessons are scheduled, he cut me off and said you need to email such and such and find out when they are available to schedule the class. He was speaking very quickly and was clearly "much to busy" to help a new customer and answer a few simple questions. I asked if I could call someone that may have more information on the class schedule he stated that "we don't cater to your boss or whoever's schedule and you will just have to send the email and wait for a response". There was absolutely NO reason for this attitude, as it is my job to be professional and courteous, especially when representing my client. In my experience, people respond in this manner when they are either not properly trained or really don't know the answer to the questions being asked and become defensive. Regardless, when a business offers pre-paid services to the public and new customers (non-members) with questions are treated as an annoyance by any employee, owner, friend or relation of the business; then what is the point of even offering services to the public? There were also many contradictions regarding information on the website vs the services and goods actually available at BluCore. This type of treatment and misinformation reflects poorly on a business and puts it's professionalism into question. Therefore, we had the tuition for the class immediately refunded and found a more professional, organized, knowledgeable and courteous place in which to do business.

Signed up for a membership when they decided to waive the initiation fee , even though I d never been there. I shoot three or more times a month, and wasn t sure I d like it. It s a farther drive then the shootist in Englewood, but I m glad I went with blucore. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. They seem like great guys. One gentleman, helped me find a pistol that had the features I wanted, quality and acceptable price, and he was spot on (ruger security 9) and knew what he was talking about. I thank him for taking the time to show me the options, having the patience and knowledge to do so. The range itself is great too, more than ten lanes and I ve never waited. You can also make lane reservations online at no cost if you are a member. Ammo is decently priced and they have great guns to rent (free for members). If you shoot frequently, I strongly recommend considering blucore first.

Thanks to everyone at blucore for always making my range experience a great one, every time I come in

Great staff, very attentive and a focus on safety. I still can t believe there is a 100yd rifle range under ground. You really can t find another place like this in Denver. If you shoot a lot, look into the membership, as the demos are free with a member ship and addiction benefits. Very fun time shooting the suppressed Sig with 300 blackout.

Exceptionally poor business. There ranges are in very poor condition compared to other Colorado ranges. The staff is nice but very under educated in the field. I belong to several gun clubs in Colorado and would never recommend Blue core to anyone i know. There staff is very unsafe buy handling firearms behind the firing line. Range lighting is extremely poor and we were pulled off of our shooting lane 20 min early.

This shooting range is excellent. They have a pro shop, indoor rifle and pistol ranges, and the customer service is great. One can take classes here, and they also give military and law enforcement discounts. The one issue I have is, you can't stand or rapid-fire on the rifle range, you have to sit and shoot.

So i can not express how good of an experience this store offers in words, so i will just describe our experience. We came in looking to buy a new rifle for myself, and get some training for my wife who is brand new to firearms. We were helped out by Mr. Earl who was extremely knowledgeable friendly, and patient. During our stay Mr. Earl along with the other associates were extremely helpful, and didn't try to up-sell us on anything. My background check took a bit of extra work due to my career, but Earl made the entire process smooth and painless.
In short if your looking for an excellent gun store, and range do yourself a favor go here!

As a non-American I was kindly received and they liked the fact that we were there.
Below it was explained how renting worked. Neatly explained how the guns were put together and gave advice about the different types of ammunition available.
Very relaxed that you rent a rifle and can simply exchange it for another and that you do not pay extra for it.
Definitely recommended for a foreign tourist and good price in my opinion!

BluCore is hands-down the top shooting range in the Denver metro area. I live in Parker, so it's a bit of a drive for me, and I could visit another range nearby more easily, but I like the facilities and the personnel better at BluCore.

Their range has an excellent ventilation system so you can shoot for a long time without getting crap in your eyes, and they have a nice selection of rental guns that you can try out. Good selection of handguns in the store, and lots of other guns available on their online store.

The owners are former Military, so they really know their stuff and the classes they offer are run by highly trained tactical specialists. I haven't taken any classes from other local ranges, so I can't speak to their abilities, but I do know that the BluCore teachers are best in class.

I would highly recommend BluCore (and have many times) to friends and family. IMO, they're the best gun range in Denver!

I've had a couple of memberships at Blucore over the years. Great range. Great staff. Great ventilation. 100yd range.

I'm removing one star as they have no line queuing at the range counter (unlike Bristlecone). This translates to a cluster fk when it gets crowded, which happens often. The staff handles it as best as they can but the check-in process should be better organized.

The people that work here are wannabe jar heads. The guy down at the range was such an idiot and had no clue what was going on yet had to come in and screw everyone over because he couldn't keep peoples ID's in order. Last Sunday I went for a day of shooting at Silver Bullet with a friend only to be turned down at 3 in the afternoon; quickly we panicked to find a new place to go shooting, and this place turned up. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with exceptionally great service, and were lead to the only 100 yard indoor range in Colorado. While down there, we were able to talk to staff who informed us of their exceptional filtration system that alleviates the smell of powder as soon as the guns go off. And guess what, they were not lying! That system is truly amazing. After sending many rounds downrange, we go to talking to their exceptionally knowledgeable staff about guns in general, who believe in a hands on approach in showing guns. All together the price is right, and with such a great staff running the place, i would recommend this place a thousand times over

Great facility and classes. I have gone to the range numerous times and recently took the Pistol 1 class. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. In regards to the Pistol 1 class, the instruction was great. Both Alex and Jake were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They effectively catered to a diverse group of students (brand new gun owners - military personnel) and made it worth while for all those in attendance. I would recommend both the range and classes to shooters of all levels and will definitely be taking more classes from them in the future.

I will start by saying I think the range is very nice. The facilities are very nice. My complaint lies with their policy. I went in to shoot handgun with my friend. We asked the pistol range cashier if we could share one lane and pay one range fee and he said we would each have to pay for own lane. So we did, midway through our range time we were told more customers had come in so we had to now share a lane. They did not offer a refund at all. After paying separate (not cheap) range fees we had to now share? When we were leaving I talked to an employee upstairs about what had happened and he didn't seem too concerned. I was a bit peeved and will not be returning to this range despite the nice facilities and ventilation. Thanks for reading

I like the range well enough but the dude in the shop needs to update his sales tactics. Gives you a hard sell on why you should shoot what he likes instead of helping you get the gun you want.

Basically assumed you don't know what you're talking about, asked why you don't want what he likes, ignores you're answer and then spends ten minutes telling you unrelated common knowledge gun facts like you're an idiot.

If you want to get outfitted with the setup the guy behind the counter shoots than this is the place for you. If you're not into 9mm and AR style rifles exclusively than go elsewhere. These guys seem to not realize that customer service is giving the customer what they want, not what the salesman has in their prep bag.

As a first timer at Bluecore ... I am an experienced shooter and have visited ranges across the country. Bluecore is top notch and is owned and operated by knowledgeable friendly professionals. I felt very comfortable from the time I entered and upon leaving knowing I had a solid experience. A white glove inspection will yield not even the slightest hint of dust, Navy training really pays off ... The staff was courteous, laid back and is the main asset for customer shooters able to feel as though each is very important.
I spent less than a 1/2 hour on the range shooting 100 rounds with two weapons and enjoyed every hit on my target. It's just over a 20 mile one way for me but well worth the time & gas. I married into a law enforcement family, my wife will join me on my next trip to 7860 W. Jewell very soon ...
Thumbs up ...

While waiting they have to shut the lanes down to fix stuck target retrievers 2 different times. 7:00, we are told the 3 of us have to share 1 lane in case a member shows up. We get in there as a couple people are arguing over not getting there full hour because of the shutdown. They are told to bad nothing they can do about it...

The actual range is solid concrete with no sound deadening and not very well lit.

At about 7:30 the rest of the people down there have left and we thought about asking to buy a another lane since 4 out of 5 were open. We figured it wasn't worth it at that point. We get done shooting and head back to the counter. "That'll be $96 please"

We ask why we were forced into one lane and have to pay full price. The attendant tells us it's our responsibility to ask for additional lanes if they open up...

Maybe if you live close by and become a member it's worth it, but I don't think it's worth paying their fees or travelling more than 30 minutes to find out.

2 stars because I was able to get my rifle sighted in at 100 yards in my 20 minutes, however I will not be returning

Been using BluCor for about a year now Currently a member. Now, just like any other business they have their pros and their cons so I urge people to be patient and understanding with this place even if you might've had experiences to the contrary. Having said that I will simply list pros and cons now. Your mind is yours to make up, but in my honest opinion it is a completely legitimate establishment.
Pros -
1. Good Selection
2. Quality products and good distribution network if they don't have something you want.
3. Clean and tidy, very organized.
4. Good location. (For me anyway)
5. Staff will not pester you if you know what you are doing. (Had some doozies at other places when I was young just because I looked young)
6. Rentals are a nice addition.

Cons -
1. As I've witnessed a handful of times, the staff does have a tendency to intimidate/patronize people who don't know what they are doing, whether intentional or not. This is not the fault of the employees though, it simply needs to be addressed and some sales/customer service skills need to be sharpened. Easy fix.
2. Although their range is clean and organized it's counter area is somewhat small for their growing customer base. Many times I find myself elbow-to-elbow with people on any given day.
3. While their prices are competitive, I have often found cheaper options elsewhere. not by much mind you, but cheaper nonetheless.

In summary I find it is an adequate place to do my shooting. When we talk about gun ranges, I feel each range has their own personal feel and personality to it. Some might have better customer service, some might have better prices, some might have more options. To me this feels like a range that is No Nonsense, expects its Shooters to be somewhat experienced, or at least have some common sense around firearms, and is out to make a dollar which is what most businesses are up to do. If you can't handle these facts or prefer to be "held by the hand" if you will, a bit more, I would recommend Bristlecone or something of the like. For me, yes there is room for improvement, but its ok for my needs.
