My experience at BluCore has been fantastic! The staff is super friendly and the environment is very welcoming - Zach in particular was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in my search & final selection for the perfect gun! I'll continue to come back with family & friends knowing he's there to help and answer all my questions. Being a new gun owner (and being female) I know it can be very overwhelming and intimidating going into a shooting range by yourself - at BluCore you will never feel pressured or taken advantage of as a customer. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and it's staff :)

Excellent staffs and services. The instructors were very knowledgeable, and store staffs are friendly and helpful. Range staffs are patient.

Pistol range is usually clean and quite compare with other "public shooting ranges", never had an issue, but please take warm outdoor clothes with you if you visit in chilling night, because their indoor range ventilation equipment is replacing clean but cool air rapidly.

Firearm courses have helped me on my overall skills, the instructors are experienced shooters and they will guide you to the right track quickly.

Had a delightful firearm purchase experience, staff team is a problem solver. Recommended.

Been here a handful of times, before I decide to get the membership. Everyone is helpful and professional. The upstairs is the showroom and prices look very fair. I'm sure on the accessories are marked up from online, but it's that instant gratification of getting that item I take into consideration. Online sign up of membership was easy and booking is simple. Definitely check them out. I've only had good experiences so far.

Update.
Love the place, but the website is terrible. Can't book or do anything on the site. Still need to call to make an appointment. Removing 1 for now.

My husband and I attempted to go here a few weeks ago but called before driving out of our way to the range. We asked the range attendant if we should make a reservation or not, and he said "No, just c'mon out." When we arrived, there was a 2 hour wait. The attendant really should have mentioned that instead of taking up a good deal of our time driving all the way there since we were definitely not going to wait 2 hours to shoot a few rounds. Since then, we have used the facility and compared to others, this one is extremely crowded and LOUD. Even with proper ear protection, this facility is much much louder than other facilities in the area.

The long gun range was par. We signed in as 2 adults and my teenage son and were there to sight in 2 rifles. The long gun range was not busy and it would have been appropriate to suggest that we take more than one lane. I would have asked but it appeared in the reception area that they were busy and I didn't not know how busy the ranges were. This did not happen, therefore; we spent our hour trying to sight in both guns one of which was new with a new scope. My son had the opportunity to shoot only 3 rounds. Needless to say we were charged FULL price for all three of us including my son and his whopping 3 rounds!! We did explain that he had little opportunity to shoot but to no avail. They had the nerve to ask if we wanted a membership! HA!! We will NOT be back!

Ranges and gun stores need to stick together for the 2nd amendment. We need unity in America. I am an NRA Certified Counselor, and they flat out refused to allow additional training opportunities besides their own. Highly suggest finding a range that cares about the country and community over selfishness.

I've been coming here since I started shooting and I really can't think of anything of importance that would be worth criticizing in the review. I've never been to, or been part of, an establishment that does so much to continuously improve its customers experience.

The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful you'll meet, and are happy to interact with you, regardless of whether you're buying or not. Prices are not the cheapest, but their not outrageous, and you know they will take care of you should you have a problem with your purchase.

The range is great, it does exactly what you need a range to do, and their classes that they offer are fantastic. The fact that they add new classes every month based on what they hear from patrons feedback, is a testament to how well this place is run.

Since this is a review and in the sake of offering some feedback myself, I would say the only thing they should maybe take a look at is their membership. Their membership is incredibly well priced, don't get me wrong, however I wished they offered a pay-monthly plan for the 1 year membership. I've seen a lot of other ranges doing it, and I would renew my membership 100%, if I didn't have to pay for the whole year in full, in one payment.

I took a CCW course and the trainer didn't sign the certificate. Apparently he he now longer works there. Recently, I was told I would have to take another class just to get a signed certificate when they made the mistake in the first place.

Half price Monday's for CCP. Staff is a little stuck up might be from screwing their caps on too tight in the past.
After reading other reviews about people being hit by shrapnel from other shooters I had to share our experience. This place is unsafe and should be investigated as such. Wife and I were shooting and she was his by bullet fragment from three lanes over. The large fragment half the size of .45 hit her in her chest. It tore through clothing broke the skin caused bleeding. The person in the lane next to us saw this fragment as it passed his head in route to my wife. This was reported to staff and after supplying a bandage, they basically could have cared less.
It is obvious this is a common occurrence here. Someone will be (if not already) hurt badly. And they are aware of issue with their range design. Read several reviews about shooters being hit by shrapnel. I am retired law enforcement and have shot on dozens of ranges and never seen this.
Shoot here at your own risk.

The customer service is okay. The facilities are ...

The customer service is okay. The facilities are top notch. However, I have some issues with their policies.

First of all, they have this strange idea that a 9mm Luger round, fired from a rifle, will not even reach their 100 yard bullet trap. As such, they will not let me shoot a "handgun caliber" rifle on their rifle range. They pointlessly offer to let me shoot it on the handgun range, but what's the point of shooting a rifle at a target 40ft away. I can shoot a .22 LR rifle, whose projectile will be going slower than that of a 9mm Luger rifle at 100 yards, of course. So, at best, poor knowledge of firearms.

Lately, I saw that they're selling small rifle primers for over double retail price. A $32 1000ct box of primers, selling for $80. Will they sell? Sure. It's still totally unethical. It's still completely taking advantage of their customers instead of serving them honestly and fairly.

I won't be giving them another dime.

Went there to shoot a .44 mag, which their website shows them as having for rent. Turns out they sold it, which is fine, because they have a S&W Performance Center 627. Bought some of their ammo with the gun rental. Loaded a few and it jammed on the second shot. Freed the jam, loaded another two and it jammed again. Did this four more times before going to get the range staff. I told him that the cylinder was locking and he said, "Ya, we've been having that issue because people slam the cylinder closed." BEEN having that issue...? So the gun doesn't function and you still rent it?

Staff offered to swap it out for a Ruger. Opened up that revolver and found rust (in a place as dry as Colorado) and a cracked forcing cone (second and third picture). Decided not to shoot that gun and just left. We were still charged full price. Another staff member, who offered to sell me the 627, asked how it shot. I told him it jammed every other round and he had no response.

From the About Us section of their website: "Many of our staff have military/SPEC-OPS, Law Enforcement and competitive shooting backgrounds." Well, apparently not. As a former 0311 and federal Correctional Officer, I've never met another Marine or CO whose weapon was not cleaned after every shooting session, much less one that was rusted, cracked, and caked with carbon. Rugers aren't the highest quality revolvers, but that 627 is a $1600 gun. You have to neglect it for a long time and after thousands of rounds for it to jam so often.

Not only does the staff have zero experience in maintaining weapons, but they also risk customer safety but continuously allowing people to rent poorly maintained guns.

Extremely happy with the lesson from John Hess. He explained things clear and logically, instantly improving my shot. First time in this range and was very pleased with my experience. Everyone is super helpful and extremely nice, and they have a great selection including clean range downstairs. Great for right in the city. Highly recommend any instructor with the classes, but our experience with John was amazing. Couldn't be happier with our lesson, and now were hooked!

This is a very professional shooting range. Made for long rifle and handguns. Staff is very pleasant and willing to answer any questions. That is the range. The weapons area as in for sale knowledgeable and also willing to take the time to be sure you are leaving with the weapon that you feel most comfortable with. They have instructors that take the time to introduce you to the proper safety measures as will as intructing you on your proper handling of your new weapon. You can't go wrong using this range. I gave them a 4 because no one rates a 5.

Just went there today to shoot a gun for the first time. And let me tell you, they're did a GREAT! Job on helping me how to reload and use the assault rifle. Super friendly staff regardless if you're experienced or not. Very fun! I definitely recommend coming here especially if it's your first time shooting.

Good place to go to shoot, they have enough weapons, accessories and ammunition. Membership costs you 35 dollars a month so you no longer pay 20 per line every time you want to go throw lead. If you don't carry bullets and you buy them there they only sell you 100 so take more, well ventilated and illuminated. 12 Pistol Lines, 100 Yard Rifle Line. They have a .50 caliber

Being the closest range to my primary residence an...

Being the closest range to my primary residence and hearing that the owners had served our country, I really WANTED to like this place, but after two visits, I do not intend to return. Reading about the tactical training that is supposedly offered here, I had high hopes, but I was quite disappointed to find that on the rifle line, shooters are not allowed to stand, have the rifle on a sling, or to rapid fire. All shooting is mandatorily seated, bench-rest, slow-fire; fine if I'm just sighting in an optic or practicing bench-rest mechanics, but otherwise not worth the relatively high price for such a limited offering.

So I returned a second time to, as stated above, sight in optics and compare the performance of various ammunitions. My mistake was arriving with pre-loaded magazines to TRY to save some range time. Their policy is to inspect all ammo, so all nine mags (including the polymer ones) I brought had to be unloaded at the counter to be checked for a magnetic response; of course, as I am aware of restrictions on steel-core ammo, mine were all clean, as I declared them to be. So feeling mildly put out, I regathered all my mags and ammo to reload at a chair near the counter, where I was told rather tersely that I wasn't allowed to load ammo there. (FWIW, the other counter clerk had the same surprise to the demand that I did: "Really?") So they expect me to pay $30/hour to load my ammo on the line at a bench. Again, "Really?" So considering the high price, heavy restrictions, meager offerings, and inconvenience, I would simply choose not to shoot here. After dealing with some of their clerks, I'll shoot ANYWHERE else. I get tier-one instruction and am treated with a high degree of professionalism elsewhere; no need to deal with this for a higher price.

Knowledable Staff.

Knowledable Staff.
veteran owned and operated.
Classes are thorough and hands on.
The guys who work there are passionate about firearms , safety, & definitely the good guys.
You feel protected , safe and secure because of the level of safety measures and experience these guys have.
Some of them can be ruff around the edges at first and take a while to get familiar and friendly with faces , and the public "stupid" questions lol
But after a while they know you and warm up. And hopefully by then you have your metaphorical guns loaded when you ask a real question or have a real issue or ask an opinion of someone about something your interested in buying.
They are busy so that's understandable.
The range is beautiful and fun and intuitive and memberships are extremely affordable.
I've never been told they don't have an ammo I need.
And I've never not been able to get range time when I walk in , you just have to be patient in some situations.
But it never takes long.
I got my ccw certificate here and felt a lot more confident after about concealed Carry and handling a firearm even though I shoot quite a bit , there's always more to learn from these guys.
They are my neighborhood shop and I feel spoiled to live close by.
I highly recommend blucore to all my shooting buddies.
And I look forward to continue to learn and do business with them in the future, & get to know the staff more. They are all good people.
JUST DONT BE STUPID , immature , and unsafe and you won't have a problem. Haha two thumbs up

The shooting range is fantastic at blucore. It's a little pricey, but it's close to home, well lit, and safe. The training is also top notch. Big classes, 20 or so people, but they break it down in a way that you get a good amount of one on one training. My issue is with the store.

I went in today to look at a FNS pistol. In free states, this gun comes with three magazines, one being a 17 round magazine. When I asked the guy at the counter how many magazines it came with, he said none. "We can't sell the magazines because the 17 round magazine is over the state limit." The handgun was full price, about twenty dollars more than cabelas had it with two magazines. He wouldn't discount the price at all. Two stars for selling an incomplete handgun at full market price and refusing to budge on the price.

I will still shoot here, but I will not spend any more money than I have to doing it, and I will never buy a gun from here again.

Great staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. Great selection. Tried several units for a very reasonable price using the indoor range to help with my decision of what unit I wanted and needed. Excellent experience. If your a novice and need help, this is the place to go!

Staff here is great, professional, and very helpful! They had an answer to every question I threw at them. The facility is well kept and the range is perfect for testing out my new guns while also getting to play with some of the guns they had on hand. Big shoutout to Joshua for his help and his charisma. He was able to help me and get me all situated within minuets! I will for sure do business here again! Thank you!!

I've been meaning to write a review about these guys for a while. First heard about them on the radio and sounded like a cool place. Ever since my first day there I've absolutely loved it! The team there has been so helpful in teaching me how to become a better shooter. Maybe this Elk season I'll actually be able to hit something now. lol

Blucore is a top notch shooting facility. It is the only metro area range that has indoor rifle ranges that go out to 100 yds! It's great to head in before hunting season to check my rifle and make sure the scope is zeroed in. Blucore also has plenty of handgun ranges as well. Their pro shop is nicely stocked and the staff has good product knowledge. The Range Officers do a good job of keeping people in check. Blucore also offers a good selection of classes. The classes will benefit the novice shooter all the way to the advanced shooter. The membership is definitely worth it! I previously belonged to Centennial Gun Club and was glad that I made the switch. Keep up the good work guys!

My first time visiting there a couple days ago and i was pretty impressed with the store and range . The staff in the store were very friendly and helpful. But the staff for the range seemed a little more helpful to only people with a membership. I stood first in line for about 7 minutes before I was ever helped . They checked all my ammo to make sure there were no lead rounds. About 10 minutes into shooting I was hit with a ricochet or a piece of "shrapnel" shot by the people in the lane beside me. I went to let someone know about the incident and the staff woman I told just laughed about it and said" it happens". I told the shooters beside me what happened and it really didn't seem to faze them at all. I don't know if this happens regularly there but I wasn't sticking around to find out . I wasn't mad at first and had no intentions of starting a problem there . But I really didn't feel safe shooting there or even standing in the range. I don't know what caused the ricochet or piece of shrapnel to hit me but i doubt I'll be returning there in the future . Anyone who does go I hope you don't get shot by anything.

To try something totally different, my wife and I went shooting at Blucore for our anniversary. The staff were friendly, respectful, and knowledgable; the prices were pretty good, and we had great time!

Blu Core shooting range was great! We went shooting the sat. After Christmas not exactly the slowest day of the year. We were told we had about an hour wait and we wound up waiting 15 minutes tops! The indoor range was very clean and well ventilated! The staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience definitely going to be coming here again and would definitely recommend Blu Core!!

Great space for anything shooting related. 100 yard range is great, high quality structure. very clean building, good parking. Shop has stuff tyou want not just a bunch of junk. we signed up for memberships and already started reserving lanes for next week.

Would recommend 100%

Better than all the other shooting ranges in Denver or anywhere around us.

Unbelievable how expensive and unprepared this place was, we went there just to site in our rifles. We had three people and they told us we had to share a lane although when we were in the range 3 of their 5 lanes were open. They then proceeded to charge us each the hourly rate even though we had to split a lane and only shoot for 20 mins a piece. Will never go back to this range.

Stopped by to check everything out and see if the range will become my new spot and was seriously surprised at what they had to offer. They have rifle range and pistol range with just the right amount of space. Considering everything that is going on right now they are doing their best no doubt. I will definitely be back to take a class or two.

Very nice, clean, range with good ventilation. Great selection of firearms for sale and rent at reasonable prices from what I saw. Is it perfect? No. It depends on who you are dealing with. Some of the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and some of them are somewhat terse and behave like you are bothering them for coming in. Hence the 4 stars. I should say that I have had many more good experiences than bad ones which is why I went ahead and became a member. The rifle range is the only one I am aware of in my area that is 100 yards long. It's great for sighting optics.

Awesome customer service from the best staff I've experienced anywhere. I was unfamiliar with guns and they took the time to give me tons of information and make me feel comfortable visiting the shooting range. They take trades too, so it's the perfect place to upgrade.

i recently received an advertisement for a Veterans day sale at Bluecore for 50% off automatic and .50 cal guns. what does that say to you? So, yes I showed up to purchase. But, it was only for shooting them on the range. Not for sale. The email ad didn't say that.

The young "help" there were less then helpful and didn't really care. There was a lady there that also pulled up the same ad and thought the same thing. False advertising ruse to get people to come in. Will never go back. There are other places in the area that are run with much more professionalism. DO NOT USE!!!!

Some of the employees here are great, and others are very rude. They were very short with friend and I when we went in, and acted like they were incredibly annoyed that we were there. One of them eve rolled his eyes when I asked about basic instructions, like where to enter the range and which lane I should use. I won't be going back here.... plenty of other places to shoot without the attitude!

The best thing about this place is their shooting range, which is well laid out, well equipped and well managed by the Blue Core staff.

The retail part of the operation could use some improvement. I called Blue Core about a particular handgun in was interested in and asked the person I was speaking to if they had that particular gun, giving them the model number and all the particulars. The person checked and came back to report that they had it there.

On that basis, I went to the store to look at the gun. They did not have it. I was then told that their "internet guy" would do some checking and call me about ordering the gun. I never heard from them. I took my business elsewhere.

These guys run a good gun range, but their retail business could use a little polish.

I went with the intention of getting a membership, if I liked the setup. I walked through the door and was told, no one could shoot unless already a member. Nowhere can I find this posted on their website. How can you run a range and get new members if you won t even let them try out the place. Have not had an issue anywhere else. Very disappointed as this range is 5 minutes from where I live.

I went here as a first time shooter and it was awesome. The staff was friendly and helped me and my girlfriend, who had never even held a gun before, feel comfortable. The range was clean and well maintained. I would suggest BluCore to anyone who is looking for a good, clean range with friendly staff.

Generally I don't ever leave reviews, but some of the less positive ones have caused me to write about my own experiences.

Firstly I am a member here and feel the monthly subscription is easily worth the price. Currently they are forgoing the initiation fees as well. With a membership you get range reservations (worth the fee in and of itself) and discounts on classes, friends you bring to the range, ammo, merch, and even gun rentals.

Currently I have attended their Pistol 1 and Rifle 1 classes. These were a fantastic value. They were INCREDIBLY safety conscious and had a great understanding of the fundamentals and how to teach them. I definitely plan on continuing to hone my skills. Remember folks, owning a firearm is a big responsibility and so is being able to safely and effectively operate it.

The staff that is currently working there is quite attentive and I have had nothing but great experiences from them. I was incredibly impressed with an interaction I saw a few weeks ago when I was shooting. A gentlemen was being a little less then safe and it appeared he didn't know his firearm too wel (Get training people!). The employee stepped right in and helped him be safe and taught him a few things as well. This customer also had a child with him with certain physical complications and this employee went out of his way to help the child as well. These are the types of interactions I've had here. They want everyone to be safe and enjoy an awesome hobby. If you get yelled at for being unsafe, it's your own fault.

The Pro Shop prices are very competitive with internet prices from what I've seen when looking at guns. Typically you'll pay a bit more because Internet shops have almost no overhead. It's worth paying a few percent more to keep these guys in business.

No place is perfect though. I would say that in general the range just needs a little updating. Some of the target machines are a little wonky and I feel it needs to be better lit. It can feel a bit like a dungeon down there.

If you want a good place to shoot that is SAFE and fun, I can't recommend this place enough.

Show up at 11am. Told we have to wait til 12pm. Tell us a 12pm its gonna be a while cause they have reservations. How longs a while? They tell us 4pm! So you mean to tell me you didnt know you had reservations at 11am when we arrived??? Instead make us stand around with our thumbs in our asses for an hour! The range staff seemed clueless lost and disorganized. They claim to be a state of the art range but you can only either shoot pistol or rifle not both. $18 for a half hour then the prices jumps to $31. Plus they only offer a $2 discount for military and law enforcement. Worst range experience in Denver ever! Off to DCF guns we go where 2 people can shoot both pistol and rifle for $35. Thanks for wasting our time Blucore!

I called ahead to ask if there was a wait to shoot, told "no", arrived 10 min later and now told 30 min wait; was also told i could shoot pistol on the rifle line, upon arrival told i could not, i won't be back.

Enjoyed the indoor range. Staff were courteous and friendly. Shot at the rifle range, spot lights for target at 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards and 100 yards. Sighted in 3 rifles, was there with my son-in-law, we had 2 lanes. Will definitely go back again.

I have been shooting at what is now blucore since I took hunter education as a child. I was today humiliated in a manner that completely blew my mind. When I asked to change my name on my account, since I have legally changed it, and that is reflected on my ID, I was told 'if you ask nicely.' What? Unreasonable, but fine, I asked nicely, with please, 3 times before I got a 'okay.' While being misgendered. Lo and behold, my old name is still on the invoice I just got. Never returning.

I m a novice shooter. The first time I went to BluCore shooting center I was a little unsure what to expect. I m not a regular looking guy, I have weird hair and am kind of soft spoken. When I went in I was immediately greeted, still a little unsure I asked about shooting there and lots of other stuff. The staff, especially Lee really made me feel welcome and safe. I was about to shoot my new firearm for the first time. The shooting range has another set of employees. All were very pleasant and understanding of my newness.
Now months later I m a member and a regular visitor. I ve always been made to feel at ease and welcome. BluCore is close to my work so its easy to go down and practice. I m there several times a week practicing. Even after the staff has come to know me, the customer service hasn t lapsed. Great place and convenient.

Called at 3pm and tried to reserve a lane. Was told only members could reserve. Came at 4pm on Thursday and was told they were booked for the day. Was told if I buy a membership I could get in right away. After I filled out the paperwork and paid I was told the next free lane was not until another day. Will not return

My wife and I went to the range for the first time yesterday and it was great. I was really impressed with the clean and modern facilities. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable; not the typical snubbing and ignoring I get at most gun shops because I look 17 instead of 27.
