Dave Wolfe Review of BluCore Shooting Center
I really want to like this place--absolutely beaut...
I really want to like this place--absolutely beautiful well ventilated pistol and shooting range and shop that is clean and brightly lit and has some ex-mil working there. 2 issues just kill it for me: 1) Range management needs major help in customer service and policy. Have gone there twice with a buddy and each time we paid for a lane each ($30/hr, not cheap) and wound up being asked to share a lane both times after a short time. Rifle range lost a target carrier both times I went there, taking it from 5 to 4 lanes. Last time I went I specifically asked if I could sight in multiple rifles. This takes time and there was no line. I was told sure, take your time you have the lane as long as you want it. Start to set up on range and no range bags, guy next lane over has hogged them all from all the lanes. Ask attendant for bag rest of some sort and he says "sorry, dont have any more" and would not ask the guy who has them all to share (even though the bags are clearly marked which lane they are supposed to be in) Ok, fine, I'll improvise with my rifle bag and was told no, it might catch fire! What? ok, lets just get shooting as this has all ready eaten up 20 minutes. 25 minutes later (55 minutes from time I entered range) I was tapped on shoulder and told I have 10 minutes as there are now other customers waiting. What happened to "take your time, you have the lane?" Nope, sorry buddy
