Truly a store like no other in the world. I love shopping at the 59th Street Flagship
Great customer service, staff is friendly and the store has pretty much everything.
Shop with the most exclusive clothes and accessories in NY. Expensive.
I really love this place, and they got everything I love. I bought allsaint leather jacket from here, the sales are so nice who give me 20% off when i buy it.
Shop until your credit card company drops the interest rate. Bc next season is hear.
By far the best warehouse in New York, huge with all possible brands in the world. Super recommended see you soon Matteo Leardini
great store....fragrance sales...are a little aggressive
Stunning department store and SO huge! They generally have good prices and sales with excellent customer service. My favorite department store ever. There s also lots of designers on the first floor - LV, Gucci, Fendi, Chanel, etc. Really great shopping experience!
Gigantic store that can be a little overwhelming. A fantastic selection of cosmetics and skincare counters where complimentary treatments and samples are often offered - check their website and get on their mailing list to be first to know!
Great place to get gifts for men and women.
Beautiful beauty and cosmetic selections.
Bloomingdale's is a neighborhood staple. If you're in the neighborhood, it's a great place to go if you want to get a nice gift for someone or if you need to update your wardrobe. It might not be my go to department store, but I still love it. Especially now that Barneys is closed. I especially like the home department. Great men's store, too. Before COVID-19, Bloomingdale's was also a great place to get a bite to eat in the neighborhood. Hopefully the restaurants will open again after COVID. Overall, great store for native New Yorkers and tourists.
Had the worst online shopping experience, wish I could give 0 stars. Paid for same day delivery but didn t receive my item because apparently their driver couldn t find my address, which baffles me because in this day and age there s something called GOOGLE MAPS. I order things online all the time and have never ever been told by anywhere else that they couldn t find my address. On top of that, I did not get refunded for the same day delivery fee. That s fine, whatever. But there s more. What made me even more angry is that I called customer service to complain, and they assured me they would resend my package by UPS. She guaranteed I d receive it in two days. Awesome. But guess what? I get an email from Bloomingdales 2 hours later saying my order has been cancelled and I ll have to reorder the item. Guess I won t be getting my jimmy choos in time for my bday. What a piece of sh
I order from Uber eats at 2am which is delivered to me by drunk people on a bicycle and even THEY have no problem finding my address, so how does bloomgdale s supposedly superior delivery service not know how to locate an address in NYC. It s not that hard.
Obnoxious customer service. Limited selection sizes, poorly laid out and extremely disappointed in MAC. MAC couldn't offer makeup services. I was told to make an appointment but then was advised they take walk ins only. Failed to create a good customer experience equals an unsatisfactory review. Won't be back!
Very noisy construction going on not calming experience
Unfortunately, in December some areas were under renovation. It's an idea more elegant than others. Nice relaxed shopping is always possible.
Old school department store in the way few are left. Very expensive in places. They do have good sales.
Store is pretty, it's huge and lots of merchandis. I think it's overrated and way over priced. Employees are not super halpfull because they don't know where is everything located. They used to have huge Christmas decorations section, but every year is the getting smaller and smaller.
Over-hyped! And overpriced! Don't bother. Good as a tourist trap though.
This is the nothership!!! I m a huge fan of good merchandising and great service - those go a long way in my book when I m shopping. This ultra Bloomingdale's has these qualities, which make for a really fantastic shopping experience. The merchandise is a little more elevated and way deeper than any of the other Bloomies out on the west coast, so if hard to find designer good is your sartorial thing, you're in luck. This is great place to get gifts and sometimes you'll get a little something for yourself too!
Lapin and I came here to look for Creed fragrances. After, asking two employees both who were super helpful, they told us to check their SoHo location as they carry it. But, most of the employees went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience, even recommending competitors that might carry the brand so we wouldn't have to commute all the way to SoHo.
Bloomingdale's is a must see for all traveler's to look at the latest designs from famous designers. The only thing that is lacking is being consistent in customer service. For example, after I bought my Lancome products my sales rep was irritated when I asked why some of my promo gifts is missing.
Pro
Best Sales Rep at Bloomingdale's is Josie Nisbett (Lab Series) she really listened to me and my dad and figured out how to help my dad with his skincare.
Con
-For the mothers- do not bother carrying your children carriages there is not enough space. I heard another mother complaining how there is not even a special bathroom for mother and child
-Be prepared of the long lines for the bathrooms
-Some sales rep are not nice if you don't buy anything. I understand they have to sell but the entire Bloomingdale's experience should not be based on selling products.
My mom calls it Bloomies! Who ever gets it, gets it!
Awesome shopping experience. Staff very friendly and professional
Stylist Nick in the men's tailored department is awesome
Always a pleasure, the staff is pretty helpful. The coffee at David Burke is great fyi.
The large-scale large
It is a department store, but lots of luxury goods
Good sales while selling prices
In the middle of Manhattan
It's a famous department store,
I love that I can walk in and return something at the first register I see. You don't have to return it to the right department. They take care of that.
nice place to shop when they went on sale. the large sale event happens twice ayear. one in the middle of a year, one at the end of year.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Xenia Mena one of your fragrance specialist.
For those who like to consume ... Basically a chic C&A
One of the last truly great American Department Stores
The staff was very polite and helpful ... they made sure my son got the winter coat he wanted and in the right size.
My wife made one purchase, just one purchase. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus the decor was excellent.
Great store a large and beautiful selection in every department and love their sales they are the best
If you want excellent service seek out Bridgett at the store on 59th Street.
Very expensive, and they carry the same brands you can find in other departments stores discounted at very good rates. Not big variety to choose. Only the yogurt is good. Not recommended
Huge store with every top brand and miles and miles of products. A tourist attraction in its own, you can certainly get lost inside and spend hours and a lot of money shopping but unfortunately you're spending more money than you should. Outside of big sales happening a couple times a year, products are pretty overpriced. But luxury shopping, concierge service and generous return policy makes up for it.
Pro tip: check out the kitchen section where they're often doing product demos and giving out free food, sometimes from renowned chefs
Nice modern store with a broad range of merchandize. They mainly have major brands so do not expect to get anything extremely cheap. You can find cheaper prices at outlets. Customer service is good.
well, luxury all in one place; expensive but worth visiting and the staff is super klind
Compared to the past, luxury oriented, youth oriented became stronger, shopping pleasure diminished.
Excellent store for men and women... All top brands available.. Currently sale on 15-30% store wide
There is something antiquated about this place. Be prepared to spend a lot of money in here!!
8/23/20 Burlington is restocking there shelves with new arrivals everyday. You never know what you will find! I have just Lost my mind with my last Burlington home wall decor. It's so wild, it fits my bathroom theme " Serengeti" it's metal jungle plant $60! It's to large for the space. I'm going to bend it to make it fit. I love these design challenges!!
The layout of the different designers scattered throughout the floor makes you walk through the entire floor and it's a huge waste of time. All the coats have been moved and they don't have a large selection. Coats are scattered throughout the designers sections as well. One has to go through two floors of coats and still there wasn't anything worth buying. Your better off looking online.
