Bloomin Marvellous Reviews

I have had mixed experiences with Bloomin Marvellous. To start with the positives:

1. The owner, Spencer is professional, knowledgeable and responsive to inquiries.
2. We had one very good team come around to do 2 hours of garden maintenance. This team is what I expected from the company after my conversations with Spencer - they were efficient, worked the entire 2 hours, and knocked on when they were done to explain the work completed. The team seemed knowledgeable about the plants and gave me a few pointers on how to maintain some of the bushes in our garden between visits from the company.

The negatives:
1. We recently had a very bad work team come around to do 2 hours of garden maintenance. The team showed up ~30 minutes late, spent time eating lunch in the front of the house, and then went to their car to sit for a while before driving off ~15 minutes early. A maximum of 10 minutes was spent in the back of our house in the actual garden.
2. Given the lack of work done in the above visit, I believe I was overcharged. I ended up paying for 1.5 hours of work because that is approximately how long the team was at my house (according to the trackers on their van). So I ended up paying for the crew to eat their lunch and sit in their van. When disputing the charge I was refused a breakdown of what was actually done. Instead of the itemised list I was given a small discount (0.5 hour less work, no charge for rubbish removal) and was told the case was closed.

We have stopped using Bloomin Marvellous after the last visit. Unfortunately I no longer trust them to do the work and cannot justify paying for a job that may or may not be completed to a high standard.

Driver swore at me on hook round about for no reason. Very rude and I would expect more from a representative of the company.

Blooming Marvellous did a fantastic job designing and building our new garden. Efficient, Cost effective, finished on time. A real pleasure to work with the guys. Would highly recommend.

We have used Bloomin Marvellous twice in the past year to replace a large decking area with paving, plus very recently putting up new fencing and some minor tree surgery. They have been really professional, friendly, knowledgable and skilful in everything they have done. We were very pleased at how neat and tidy everything was left at the end. Really good quality work. We happily recommend them, and would certainly use them again.

A really excellent experience. We needed an area (24'x12') cleared of 20 years' undergrowth, 2 old sheds and rubble and replacing with a paved patio and a pergola and planting. Very good ideas and plan from Spencer Martin (we had very few...) and outstanding construction work over 10 days in pretty grim weather. The process was professional (socially distanced etc), imaginative, responsive to our suggestions an technically experienced and professional. Good value too. We will use this company again and enthusiastically recommend them.

We had a fairly small garden space (6m x 10m) that needed a complete reboot. From the very first meeting it was apparent that Bloomin Marvellous were head and shoulders above the competitive in the local area - I spoke to four others.

They immediately understood our requirements, very quickly came up with a design that worked beautifully and delivered on that design on time and to budget despite January's unpredictable weather.

They were punctual, resourceful, diligent, fast, polite and courteous throughout and the result is superb - can't wait for summer and to see it in all its glory.

Can't recommend them highly enough. We'll be needing to do some work doing in the front garden soon and will definitely be hoping they'll be free to come back for that.

We have just completed our annual garden trim of bushes and trees plus a rework of our borders. Liam and Phil did a fantastic job, they were friendly, professional and helpful and discussed the work with us as they made progress. The garden looks really tidy and the new stone borders are very smart.

I m very impressed with the amount of work they got done within the time. Something that would have taken me all weekend and multiple trips to the tip has taken them two hours! Great service!

We needed a whole new fence fitted and Spencer was fantastic in arranging everything for the work to be carried out. Despite the terrible weather and lockdown Phil and Carl did a brilliant job of putting it all together, great workmanship. The new fence looks great. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Really professional team of landscape gardeners who are friendly and reasonably priced.

Very happy with the work done by Bloomin' Marvellous on our front garden. The inital consultation from Spencer was excellent as it was clear he wanted to cater to our needs and wants, and came up with a brilliant solution to our ideas. Following this, the work was done brilliantly and on schedule by Phil & Liam, two of the nicest, politest and most professional guys we could hope to have around.

We had just finished an entire house renovation which included ripping the entire front and back gardens out too. I was a little lost about my options as amongst other things, I know nothing about landscaping. The project included everything - from replacing an old rotten fence with utmost care for my neighbor's pristine hedges to removing a concrete pathway and planting everything new. We even had to make stones look 'aged' as the conservation area rules where I live stipulated I couldn't just knock down an old stone wall.
Spencer was brilliant. Not only did I receive the quote on time broken down to the very last detail but he also came to meet with my neighbors to reassure them and explain how the work was going to affect them.
When the team commenced the work, I was blown away. Phillip and his team were remarkable. Always on time, not a minute wasted during the day but also (and that really I didn't expect) quite creative! If something looked odd or worried them during the process, they would knock on the door, show me and make suggestions.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process. 9 days of what I expected to be hell, turned out to be a bliss. Oh, did I mention they also finished on time?
Highly recommended!

Small team of passionate professionals that come up with reasonable solutions for your garden and work with you to achieve your goals - be they just a tidy up (very helpful when I am away) or a complete re-planting (had to do a couple due to sloppy tenants)

Your staff have been superb, indeed superlatives aren't adequate to describe their conduct and execution from start to finish. They are a fantastic credit to your company, always responsive and mindful of, (and anticipating) the client's needs. I have no hesitation in recommending Bloomin' Marvellous to anyone requiring excellent quality workmanship from a highly professional and friendly team.

We love Bloomin Marvellous - they've been sorting us out for quite a number of years now.
They've just finished a fabulous makeover for our small garden - including new fencing, a new brick wall, new gate, paving, decorative paving, plantings.
All the teams are great - punctual, polite, friendly, hard-working, tidy.
What I like about the guys is that they involve you in what they're doing - we had a great team with Chris, Tom and Alex (the sets man!).
Bloomin Marvellous may not always be the cheapest option but you do get great value for your money - highly recommended.

Fantastic service and attention to detail. The team at Bloomin Marvellous were extremely professional throughout. The quality of their work isn't second to none. My garden was unrecognisable after they'd finished with it. What was really refreshing was that after they'd completed the job the garden was spotless. Not a leaf or twig out of place. Really impressed with their work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Most of the recent positive reviews on here are false as the owner asked staff and their friends and family to put fake reviews honesty is the best policy!!!!! They don't even have any qualified gardeners prices are based on clients postcode staff are not allowed a lunch break if they want to finish on time as they don't get paid overtime
