Huge, interesting, unfortunately incompetent service, misleading, as if everything is but it still has or you have to order or show, despite my negative, it's worth trying anyway, I prefer to buy it online and not at Saturn

The "advice" in the hi-fi department was a joke.
Apart from the fact that my worthy interlocutor had no idea what he is talking about and did not even pronounce the names of the speaker brands (!), He was rude and not qualified in the approach for the work assigned to him.

The same applies to the consultant, who seemed to be responsible for automatic coffee machines.

Furthermore, it should be mentioned that the prices of the products were sometimes more than 200% of the usual on the market (see Amazon, Idealo, etc.) and the "demos" of the products in ridicule culminated.

The store has so many floors, I don't even know how many. Simply awesome. Keep it up! Also nice employees who help you.
When we first met there, I couldn't believe it. With us in the north everything is so puny and not 1 Saturn nearby. Here in Berlin, however, is this great business. I was particularly impressed by the Blu Ray and Merchandise corner. Definitely recommendable and gladly again!

Some staff members' customer service quality is based on the colour. I wanted to know whether I can get a customised laptop with the US keyboard layout. Then the guy was super surprised and told me "We are in Germany and you HAVE to use the German layout", as if I didn't know I was in Germany. Why can't you be a little bit courteous to the one who comes to buy from you and just say "Unfortunately we don't have the US layout". That'd be more than enough for me to leave. Extremely disgusted by this.

I know that Saturn has a staff from different nationalities, and I've been there many times and the experience was quite good (One day a staff member spent almost an hour helping me to select the best TV for the price). But I was extremely disgusted yesterday by this response because no one deserves such a rude response. This person was wearing a Green Acer T shirt and might even be an outsourced one, nevertheless representing Saturn staff.

Whatever it is, if someone else saw the scene, they could clearly see his response and his facial expressions were entirely based on who I did look like. I wanted to really emphasise it here because I have never experienced such thing in Berlin so far. I updated the review so that this does not represent the whole staff,.

Incredible. Yesterday I bought a couple of wireless Bluetooth In Ear headphones at the Alexanderplatz branch in Berlin. It was the last of the kind and the packaging was visibly damaged, so I asked if there was another package, but it did not exist. I was assured, however, that these would be new and only the packaging damaged. When I unpacked these a few minutes later in the ICE to Leipzig, I was immediately sick. The headphones have definitely been used for a long time and are heavily polluted with every imaginable substance that can be imagined in and around the ear.
Honestly, how can such products, which have hygiene relevance, be put back on the market without verification if a customer brings them back? Do I run the risk to buy an epilator or razor or a toothbrush (at the new price!) That have already been used? Simply unreasonable!

I am not a big friend of these large retail chains, which are often unattractive in terms of price. And yet how unbearable market shouts appear. Saturn in the east side mall is one of these stores. Here the customer is obviously kidnapped and sold for stupid. See my review

The opposite at Saturn AlexanderPlatz, hifi department. The only retail store where I've left a four-figure amount in recent years. Why? Competitive prices and top advice. Especially when it comes to rotel and B&W products. Objective, expert advice. No pressure and fast-selling. The necessary time is given and the selection is also available for demanding prospects.
And: competent and friendly support even after the purchase. Rarely in Berlin

Ordered online and selected to pickup in the store. Besides the passport, they asked for the proof or residence and didn't let me get the product even after I proved that it was myself. They even couldn't explain me why this stupid rule even exists. It doesn't make any sense.
I have done the same before in another Saturn store and they didn't asked for extra documenta besides the passport.
I had to go back home and get my document to get the product. Such a waste of time for such a ridiculous policy.

Large selection, good service from competent employees, a little too few of them as in all electronics wholesale stores, parking spaces attached and easy and quick to reach by public transport. It is also a good meeting place because it is widely visible and known, centrally located.

The big shops of Saturn always have a great selection. I like to come here to look at products before buying and to "test". Sometimes the advisory staff are hard to find, but if you find someone, this could always help me.
