Great little hidden gem close to the town centre. Very good value for money for members, great one way system in place for Covid safety. Lots of plants to see from all over the world, a few exotic birds and a lovely koi pond plus children's playground make it a very nice place to spend a morning or afternoon in.

The only thing that let the evening down was the venue lack of hospitality as there was no meet and greet and the room had been changed and no one seemed to know what time the event was starting different times where sent via email contradicting the Web site. But I have to say the lady that orchestrated the event was brilliant

( parking at botanical gardens) Me and my family went for the ice age event at the botanical gardens. Well all I can say is I'm never going to that place ever again it was a complete and utter joke. As we arrived the car park had a sign saying blue badge holders only. When I asked where can I park my car I was told to go down the road and turn left and park on the main road when we got to park the car we only had 1 hour parking no return for 2 hours. It was a 15 minute walk to botanical gardens I think it's bad when you prebook online for a time slot and pay 40 pound for 2 adults and 1 three year old child to enter and told that you can't park on its car park when you get there and they have already taken your money and don't say anything online about parking . Its an absolute disgrace

Had a very lovely time here. Had free time and the weather was sunny so I decided to visit the Botanical Gardens.

The area is quite big, with a couple of greenhouses with a little fish pond.
There were several peacocks wandering around the grounds, huge trees and lovely flowers, squirrels running around, cages with beautiful birds.
There is a tea room, playground for children.
All in all this place offers a lovely time for a family or a couple to just relax and get some fresh air.

First time visiting the Gardens and the Glasshouses. Great place for a day out, really interesting, shame about the choice of music in the Bandstand on the green, a Rock N Roll band in a Botanical Garden wouldn t have been my obvious choice of music for that setting...

Lovely place and well maintained, you can easily forget how close you are to the city centre. My only gripes are having to walk through the hot houses before reaching the gardens and the small car park.

I have to say, if you are into flora and fauna then this is the place to go, try and make it there between the middle of spring and mid summer for the best natural flora display. A little expensive but worth it

Great day out for all ages, plenty of see with many varieties of plants and flowers as well as animals. It's like an oasis in the heart of Birmingham. There is something for everyone from walking and relaxing to sitting for a bite to eat, there's even a shop to visit in the grounds with delightful goods for sale. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Beautiful, beautiful wander round very relaxing. Customer service in the cafe was not great, there was very little choice available and staff relating to customers could do with some work, but other than that a generally lovely experience.

I attended the gardens for a business conference held by Google and was impressed by the facilities at the Botanical Gardens. The conference space was large and well equipped and the staff were attentive. With surroundings as beautiful as this it made for a memorable conference in a unique environment.

We visited the botanical gardens on the 2/12/18. We arrived onto the car park which was empty and had plemty of spaces and were told we could not park there. Having small children with us, we were forced to park on the one way system roads making it very dangerous getting them out of car seats etc. This actually ruined the experience for us. How can you expect to put on a display that will attract small children and not have adequate safe parking? Very disappointing

Nice afternoon spent exploring the lovely gardens. Parking on site, the gardens have a cafe, gift shop and a few suites which are available for hire. We spent a few hours strolling around the many themed gardens. If the weather is nice it's perfect for a picnic!

A nice outdoor space we enjoyed our visit. Although we were unhappy to see all the birds trapped up in the cages looking very Unwell and weary
and even to spot a robin that had accidentally flown into one of the cages
and got itself trapped. We do not think it is okay to trap poor birds in an ugly cages! Despite that it was a nice change to all the busy roads and tall skyscrapers in the centre of Birmingham.

Nice experience. Beautifully designed spaces both indoors and outdoors. Amazing selection of plants. Sufficient parking space, nice souvenir shop where you can buy plants as well. I have visited on a sunny day, it was very relaxing sitting on a grass and listening local artists performing live music. There is a nicely designed play ground for kids too. Worth visiting.

Visited for the lantern festival which was lovely as always, however, we were turned away for disabled parking, being told it was full, only to park up the road and walk through the practically empty carpark to get in, as my disabled partner is not in a wheelchair but struggles to walk independently, this meant he wasn't able to get around the whole display as he had already walked extra distance before entering.

Nice gardens. Hothouses smaller than some but beautifully exhibited with plenty of information of the various plants and flowers. Lovely little cafe with views across the grounds. Didnt have a chance to visit the butterfly house but I'm sure it would of been a good experience.
