My grandchildren were engaged all day .to me that is praise indeed

Prices are disgusting definitely not worth the money .

Great for bird lovers, very child orientated. Set in lovely grounds. There is also a farm animal area where children can touch the animals and an Underwater World.

Always a pleasure to visit here, would highly recommend

How you can get less review if you live the Birds.. the best place

Overall a very nicely laid out area. However, many of the bird cages seemed a little small for the birds. Very child friendly.

Huge range of birds, fish and other animals in a spacious setting. As is often the case with these kinds of places, you often wish these incredible animals had more individual space, but they get to live a charmed life otherwise without fear of predation, thirst or starvation.

Friendly staff, great facilities for children, although unlike Bocketts, no softplay and much smaller playgrounds.

Not a bad place, a good selection of birds. Was particularly impressed with the rare species of birds and the owls! Also loved the parrots that said Hello back when they wanted to.
Only thing that let the place down is that it seems a bit dated and I think they should invest into the park. A couple places could do with some paint as an example.

I love all the birds, they all look clean and happy and are getting an upgrade in their habitat.
The shop is an Aladdin's cave, something for everyone.

Lots of different birds and things to see. A few playgrounds, but not all open because of covid. Good prices and a nice day out.

Plenty of birds. We petted a grey parrot and it beeped at us, making the entire visit worth it :)

If you want a nice day out with little ones then it s a good choice. Lots of things to see and do and there are some great play areas to let them run around. Only downside is that I d strongly recommend bringing your own food, the restaurant is terrible, I mean awful.

I love birds! Rating this on the park, not the tiny cafe in the park, very average food there but the park was great!

If birds are your thing, you can't go wrong with birdworld. While not literally a world of birds, it does offer a range of bird-based experiences as well as a petting area of non-bird creatures. Be sure to stop by the show tent for various birdal antics.

Easy to book and very kindly allowed me to transfer my booking. An excellent day out for an adult extended family of 5. Highlights were the owls and penguins

It was a short visit but very enjoyable the grandchildren really did love it

To be honest, this place was 50/50......you can clearly see that it is run down and in need of some TLC......the toilet facilities were disgusting and in and around the grounds the facilities were dated.....
It seemed like it was struggling - as it wasnt very well kept or looked after...

A good day out, although disappointed as the reptile house was closed...

Just had an owl experience with Bandit and Mozart, it was fantastic!! Helen was friendly and informative and the owls were fab. Definitely a five star experience!

I would give Birdworld 6 stars if it let me do it!

I grew up going to Birdword and it's always a great day out. Fabulous birds and displays and the Penguins are amazing.

When we were last there, we met a fabulous Parrot called 'Pickles' as well as some very inquisitive Cockatoos!

My only disappointment is that I now live in Virginia, USA and cannot go to Birdworld more often!

A fab local attraction, we ve been several times with our young son and goddaughter and it s great for toddlers and up.

Aim to get there early and make note of the attraction times, our little one loves the penguin feeding and small furries handling in Jenny Wren Farm , you get to stroke guinea pigs and rabbits and hold mice!

The small land train gives a mini tour of the park, we only wish it stopped at the far end as would allow you a quick way back after a full-on visit.

Pretty good, if you're into caged animals paraded for financial gain. Goats are the best bit

Fantastic day out. Not to expensive.
The mini train ride was very disappointing. Waited a long time. For a 4 min ride' up the track and back again. Saw lots of greenery and wire fencing.

Enjoyed our day out at bird world and not many people there on the Sunday we visited. It was like having the place to our self's

Was really surprised how much there was to see. Extremely good day out for all the family.

Had a lovely time here. Big free parking, restaurant, clean toilets, 2 gift shops, the park is very nice and clean with so many bird species and a underwater world zone. The farm zone is absolutely amazing with lots of animals plus a pet shop. Children parks, bouncy castle, cofee/tee/ ice cream and snacks with lots of resting areas. Very friendly and helpful staff.

One of the best places to see all the different species of birds from around the world - Great place for families or couples, restaurant food is brilliant and serves food for different types of requirements. Not only is it good for birds, it has a farm as well for getting up close to goats, sheep and even handling small animals!

Accepted two carers on year pass for mads. Friendly and helpful staff.

Been quite a few times, each time is a good pleasant experience. Birds seem to be well cared for, are very happy n chirpy. Nice dayout.

Excellent measures put in place to protect customers and employees during the covid 19 pandemic. An enjoyable day, felt very safe walking around the park.

Birds. So many Birds! What's not to love.
I have been here more times than I can count.
Not the cheapest, but if the money goes to the care of the birds, then I'm fine with that!
If I could live here, I would!

It's great to get my disabled child out, staff are good and talk to my child. Other visitors however were not so kind making comments and laughing

Beautiful grounds with an excellent collection of birds and other animals. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Can get very busy on bank holidays and weekends over the summer.

As a family we love bird world. We've been several times within the last year and as my children are growing they are getting more and more out of each visit.

Lovely day out for my Birthday treat , even the sun stayed out all, it was sad not to see birds in display ground and the aquarium but I was was made aware before coming, all to keep us safe from Covid, staff were excellent all friendly, helpful and polite especially Martin the Gardener who helped me my request for a piece of the large bamboo to hopefully use in my print making and propergate. I will send in results if all is a success. Thank you for making my day a great one.

Great place! Especially the hilarious white parrot who was talking and being crazy when I passed the parrot place! Fantastically set out place! so happy with my visit!

The admission charges were very fairly priced, including entrance to the aquariums which are onsite also. We arrived at lunchtime and left at closing time although we could easily have spent more time here. The bird show in the discovery theatre was amazing, and the large park was full of aviaries. Plenty for children to do, and if you're a fan of Terry Pratchett and the Discworld series then you'll love the Owl Parliament! The restaurant is reasonably priced and the service was friendly and quick. I highly recommend a visit.

Great place. Kids love it. Forest Lodge garden centre is great a little expensive for my pocket but choice of goods wonderful as is their restaurant and staff.

Love this place. It's not changed much here and by modern standards it quite basic looking but all amenities are there. We love to go there and is ideal as a family visit.
