Overall it was a good day out.
Park is much bigger than I expected and all the staff are great.

Lots of birds to see and lots of play areas for the kids.

Kids didn t find it engaging..... they seem to get bored very quickly, which is a shame as one is a huge bird fan and loves to tick them off in his book.

Also the hot dogs are awful... both kids and my wife all binned them after a few bites. Would recommend buying them.

Seen it, done it and don t feel a need to go back. We much prefer the wild life centre or godstone farm.

The cafe wasn't great, they didn't have many meal options especially for kids and everything was left under the heat lamps way too long, chips were like cardboard! There were plenty of ice cream stands but none that served whippy ice cream which most kids will only have and there were many things for kids to do other than stroll around the park. It's also very dated now and really could do with a face-lift generally. For the money I would rather go to Marwell however, it was still an enjoyable day and they do have a great range of birds to see.

Went on a nice day, weatherwise. For a fairly compact site, there are a lot of birds and plenty of information boards. There are toilets scattered throughout which is helpful. Because of COVID 19, it was not crowded. Entry was fairly simple. We went to the garden centre next door for lunch (there's a marked path). Due to COVID there were sadly no flying displays. But the jenny wren farm was open where you could pet the animals. It was very pleasant and relaxing and accessible. I would go again.

Everything was done really well to aid social distancing and still have the complete Birdworld experience. Nothing was off show (apart from underwater World but thats because its inside and quite narrow. So for obvious safety reasons that was closed) and you could still pick up hot food/ice cream/general refreshments at kiosks around the park. Was very impressed. Well done Birdworld!

We had a really good day out..... the children (4 & 9) loved it. The children loved the mix of birds and loved the owls and the parrots and loved the flying display. The display in particular shyed away from the "standard" flying display of lets brink our the harriers and let them do there thing. The children thought the cheeky herons who were undercover as penguins were funny as well.
We had a lovely tiring day.

One complaint I have is quite a few times the big bushes in the enclosures obstruct the view of what's in there. As adults we stand more chance of seeing over but for the little ones it's more difficult.

We didn't go in the cafe we didn't have time, toilets were a mixed bag.

Great attraction. Spent 6 hours there and I'm pretty sure we didn't see everything, so well worth going for a whole day. All the birds seem to be well care for. We particularly liked the Terry Pratchett Owl Parliament, but all the birds are very beautiful. The parrots are spectacular! My daughter loved seeing the penguins and flamingos. I also recommend seeing the displays. During the indoor display we got to stroke a python (called Monty), very cool! The outdoor one displays birds flying over head, totally amazing!

My only complaint is that the toilets were a bit grubby and could do with a referb. However, I do understand that a referb can cost a lot of money, which is most likely put to better use caring for the birds. It wouldn't hurt to clean them a bit more often though.
We had a walk around the Underwater World too. Not a massive collection but definitely worth a look.
Amble free parking, always a bonus.

Yes birds are in enclosures but a l as big as the bird size warrants.grounds beautiful. Has a farm area and play areas. Not all open at moment. I think would better for younger children. My grandson nearly two all birds are ducks he was in heaven.

A great place to come with a young family. Not too big to be exhausting. My only complaint / observation would be that there could be more hand washing points. There are lots of reminders to wash hands but it is challenging to keep a thumb sucking toddlers hands out of their mouth for long periods

Great day out with the family. Our 3 year old loved feeding and admiring the huge variety of birds.
Perfect size to cover in a day, along with Underwater World the small aquarium next door (included in the price). Couple of restaurants and a few more snack bars scattered conveniently.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday treat. Got him the penguin experience, which I cannot recommend enough! Not only did he get to feed the penguins, he also got to meet and stroke one. The staff answered loads of questions and were really great. The whole day out was brilliant! We will definitely be back

Enough to do for a full day or afternoon out. Ok cafe, gift shop & toilets. Feels a bit run down in places but some parts have been updated. The shows & talks are worth going to. Kids enjoy being able to feed the birds.

Nice day out with little ones, mostly family's around so no worries about the children running around. The bird shows were lovely and interactive and the Farm is also very interactive and staff were all friendly and helpful.

We stopped off here to break up a journey home. Wasn't expecting much beyond spending a couple of hours but was pleasantly surprised. We spend about 4 hours here and would visit again. A few parts are on need of sprucing up and modernising but all in all a good place to visit.

We went during post Lockdown in August 2020 so there were no feeding times or shows. It was still an excellent day out and very good value for money. The booking system meant that it wasn't overcrowded and there are very sensible Covid measures in place. It is of course mainly birds! There is also a farm/ petting zoo area. There are several play areas with very nice innovative play equipment and picnic areas. The gift shop is stocked with high quality items but at a reasonable price. We took our own food so didn't get a chance to try the cafe but it looked to have a good range of choices judging by the menu board. One thing that impressed us was that the ice cream kiosk had a vegan choice. It was so nice for the lactose intolerant little one with us to be able to eat something like an ice cream when out.

Absolutely loved it! Amazing place to go, you can feed all the birds if you buy the mealworms, they love them! Such a good selection of birds. If you're a bird lover like me you'll have a great time!

Waterworld was small and limited
