Poor service. I traded in a car, took 40 days for them to pay off trade in. JayDee would avoid my calls, never returned any, but would answer when I used a friends phone. I had to talk with Levi, store manager, to get jd on and to stay on the line. After that I received good service. The vechile I traded had a service contract which I could get a prorated refund for if I can provide the milage when traded in. Guess what, I was put on hold and call magically dropped again. Then every time I call goes straight to voicemail, even when i was told hes free. So thanks JD and Fred for showing me you care more about your paychecks then the customer. So NEVER should anyone deal with them!

Got a very good deal working with Dylan! I needed a good, reliable, and spacious vehicle. They were quick to get me in and out. They gave me plenty of options to consider, in terms of financing, so I could make my purchase. They were very friendly with my wife and I, as well as my children. The car I was going to buy was up for grabs. However, they called me 1st thing in the morning to give me 1st shot at it. And I walked away with it . Definitely recommend!!!

Where do I start? I got an email about possibly having equity on my vehicle so I contacted Mike Dickey. He invited me in and the deal began. I bought a vehicle I was very interested in after test driving. I really think Billion cares. I really think, in general everyone cares about their job and the customers. I was a bit disappointed in not getting the payments I wanted. I appreciated as good as they could get, but I feel they could have gotten the payments I wanted WITHOUT the Valpro...but for some reason they wouldn't take it off.

I came into the dealership to look at a truck I saw online. When I got there the salesman I had an appt with was busy, so I was handed off to another salesman. The new salesman preceded to tell me the truck wasn't there and that they could find me something similar, I agreed and proceeded to check their inventory. I found something that was close to the same truck that I saw online, 1 year newer and had more miles on it but the salesman said we could work with you this truck was listed 3k over the truck I saw online. When we went inside to talk numbers we were handed off to another salesman yet again and we had to explain what we just did all over again. Once we thought we were all in the same page our 3rd salesman went to run the #'s. We wanted 10-15 before getting out initial feedback front the sales manager and they were unwilling to work with me. Didn't give what was promised in my trade In with my trade in credit and didn't work with me at all with what was almost an identical truck. Our salesman didn't fight for us and just decided we needed to find something different. We then walked out and I found a truck with less miles more features for a lower price. This dealership is a joke, don't buy a vehicle from here.

Chris Fulk did wonderful communicating with my wife for almost 2 months. He was very responsive & tolerating. When it came down to it, he had his sales manager find exactly what we were looking for & brought it to the lot! He negotiated, didn't push the sale, or rush the process. He answered questions & went at our pace. Since we had a terrible experience in the past, we were pretty skeptical. We went from saying "we'll never buy another vehicle from BillionAuto again" to driving 3 hours one way to get the customer service we wanted & leaving with a vehicle. Thank you Chris!

My entire experience started before I even entered the dealership. Kye Simmons contacted me right away when I was in need of a new vehicle. I didn't have a specific model or color in mind but I had very specific list of issues I needed help with. He did a great job listening to what my issues were and offered solutions for every single item as well as providing great customer service. I will send all of my friends and family to Billion for their future transportation needs

I bought a 2015 GMC Daniel 3500 with 39000 miles and the assumption that it was ready to go, with no aftermarket parts, crashes, or damage. I told them I would buy it because during my test drives everything was working well besides ( what the salesman said was an alignment issue and he reassured me that it was an easy fix.) After they had it in and out of their service center for 5 hours and assured me it was ready to go... I finished my paper work, got in and still had the same issue. I brought it back and they found that my tires were worn down on the inside tred after they insured me they were at 70% I asked if they would throw in 2 new tire and they denied me. I should of had the paperwork shredded then and there but was just over all of their lies and wanted to leave! I decided to just replace the tires myself. On the drive home my cruise control stoped working, low coolant light came on and trailer break system check light came on. The day after my check engine light came on and a whole slew of problems came up. luckily I bought the extended warranty!!!!!!!! If not I would be with out a working truck or $$$$$ in repairs. Do not buy anything from here! As you can see in other reviews they sell lots of "LEMONS" they get for cheap in California and the laws in Iowa protect them from selling used Cars no matter the Circumstances. Do your research first even if its a really great offer. Their customers service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. No car wash, no gas fill after purchase. Run in the opposite direction when dealing with any Billion Auto place. Would of gave a 0 star if I could. Gio Perez-Satuito and Eric Davenport not qualified salesman by any means (rude and inconsiderate) had an attitude like "they got me in their trap", and lied to us the entire way even about some of the warranty circumstances. Gio couldn't stop talking about his personal issues and how he was the number one salesman.... found out that was a lie too!

I worked with Andy Gaffey and had a great experience leasing my new vehicle. He got me a fantastic deal and stuck by the original price he quoted me and even got me a better vehicle than what I was originally expecting! He worked hard on finding the perfect vehicle for me and kept me updated and answered all of my questions through out the whole process.

While working in the area back in October, my Terrain's stabilitrak system malfunctioned. This was a major problem considering I had to drive to several sites to complete my work. After speaking to Rob Bower in the garage about the issue, he offered a loner vehicle and off I went. He called a bit later detailing the problem and the cost. I gave the thumb's up to proceed and it was ready for pickup that same evening. It's now Feb. and I've had no issues with it. Based on how they handled an out-of-towner's issue so professionally, I'd have to recommend them 100%.

If i could give zero stars i would . Car trouble while in from out of state, worse service i have ever had, Rob Bower is the most unprofessional and rude service adviser i have ever dealt with. If my car broke down in front of their dealership I would pay hundreds in tow charges just to take it elsewhere. I would rather walk than ever have them touch my vehicle!
Follow up....I called and spoke to someone that day, the typical let me get back to my manager speech. Which is total bull since they did not ask for a vin, date of service or repair order number. Still have yet to have a follow up. So I will follow up with General Motors and/or the better business bureau!!

Billion is always clear and not transparent. All figures are well laid out so you know exactly what cost what so you know the payment is based off of. Stand behind the sale and will resolve any issues that may occur, that other dealers may not.

I drove 580 miles one way for a deal that was supposed to be complete. Just sign the papers and drive our new vehicle home. Spent two days communicating with our sales person and finance to make sure everything was to go smoothly. It didn't. The terms and APR weren't what we discussed, they low balled my trade in by thousands and when I asked if they even looked at it or drove it yet they lied and said yes but it was locked up and the keys were in my pocket.
When we got home our local bank said they didn't understand why they were trying to sell us such a high APR, our bank came in at 4% when they were trying to sell us at 12.5%. We have an open line with our bank now and plan to purchase anywhere but Billion auto!

I met with Joel Tryon on Monday April 25, 2016. He spent all the time that was necessary to test drive several vehicles. Once the decision was made by myself which vehicle I was interested in, he explained all my options for financing, warranties, and optional extra services. I never felt I was being rushed or intimidated to buy. Overall, my experience gets an A+.

I had my car detailed at billion auto. I can't tell you enough how pleased I was with the results. It was beyond my expectations! I felt like I was driving a brand new car off the lot. They did an impeccable job!
And the price was unbelievably reasonable.

We purchased a used Cadillac Escalade from your dealership on the 28th of December. We were very displeased that within the first week of ownership the vehicle had four issues of significant value come up. The first (dying radio) was handled within the first three days under warranty. When the other three (squeaky brakes, broken/loose door trim, bad tire pressure sensor) came up a few days later I expressed my disappointment to my salesman. I was quickly contacted by the used sales manager (I believe it was Eric) who not only arranged to have a loaner vehicle brought to us in Cedar Rapids and drive ours back down for service but also handled the issues we had no questions asked. We went from feeling cheated to feeling like we mattered even after the sale. We would gladly do business with you again and would recommend you to anyone looking for a vehicle in the future.

I had a gas leak in the engine area on my 2014 Sil. pickup. Rob did a great job, he checked me in, after determining the problem, gave me a loaner (very nice) and told me he would call the next day when finished. Again, it was a GREAT service experience and again Rob did a great job.

My check engine light came on so I pulled in to Billion Chevy quick to get it checked out. I had no appointment but they took a look and fixed the issue anyway. There was no charge because it was under warranty so that was also pretty cool. Then they gave me a free car wash so that was a bonus.

From the second I walked onto their lot, the salesperson (Alex M.) was very down-to-earth and easy-going. I actually went there twice (once to test drive and once to pay), and BOTH times, I felt very comfortable there. He listened to what kind of vehicle for which I was looking, and he worked hard to find that vehicle for me. Not once did I feel uneasy during the entire buying experience. They have a HUGE lot, so you will find what you're looking for, and the staff at Billion Auto will make sure that you are happy about it. I can't say enough good things about them. if you're looking for a pleasurable and low-pressure car buying experience, I would definitely recommend Billion Auto.

For Iowa City's Billion. We've had a fair experien...

For Iowa City's Billion. We've had a fair experience in Sioux Falls for a different car we bought.

The salesperson we dealt with was nice enough. We asked for a specific car we saw online. It took a while to hunt the car down. The car was in line to be detailed. I'm not exactly sure how the car looked so clean and ready to sell online and was a complete mess in person. There was food stuck on things (including all the buttons), and trash in the trunk. Maybe another dealer was using it? I'm not sure.

So, we come to find out that when they said online the car was certified for X price, it was actually only "available to be certified", and the online price didn't include certification. That was a significant additional charge. Speaks of dishonestly.

We tried to negotiate the price with the salesperson. We spoke with one manager up. He didn't want to lower the price either. We decided to leave at that point. The manager came after us on the lot and asked us what we could do on a 2012 (we were looking at a 2010). We told him our bottom dollar price. However, now the manager knew how much we had to spend, and we had lost any "advantage" we may have had. When had come out he said he would be willing to go down a couple hundred. Once we said how much we had to spend on a 2012, he changed his tune. He sent out his manager. (So, three people up from the salesperson) So, this is was the "bad cop" guy. The first two people I dealt with were pleasant. They were at least polite if they didn't want to negotiate. This last guy was a complete and total ***. Honestly, if the second guy I dealt with came out and said, we really can't do anything else, I would have accepted it and probably gotten the car without negotiating anymore. I pulled my husband aside and flat out told him that I wanted to leave because this guy was a complete ****. I was just waiting for him to call me "Hun" or "Cupcake"...he spoke in a demeaning manner. He tried to tell me that a tank of gas was going to cost him $70.00. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Really? I wasn't aware a sedan had a 25 gallon tank.

He did go down by $100.00 (which I still feel cheating since I had to fork over an additional $400.00 to certify a car they are claiming as certified online and by a huge "GM Certified" sticker on the car). We go to buy the car, and it was an alright experience. They did the typical sell you crazy stuff you don't need (Diamond, guaranteed for life paint cover, etc.) . They also pull the old trick where they try to sell you things by showing you that your monthly payment only goes up by XXX. Once we eventually got in to talk to the financial person, I was pleasantly surprised. He was nice and actually matched an awesome rate we had found by shopping around with different lenders. He also found a mistake in the paper work that saved us a $150.00. That's nice that he didn't wait for us to catch it (which I would hope as a contract writer by trade, I would have). When they brought the car around after it had been detailed, I was a bit disappointed. There was still pieces of food stuck on the steering wheel. I had to wash the car down myself. Not really the "new" car experience I was hoping for.

So, over-all, after using the car for a few days, I'm happy with the car itself. (I will update after I've had the car for a while). The financial guy was nice, and the salesperson was okay. The head manager was not a pleasant person and for the fact alone, I won't shop Billion again. Too bad for them too, because we're going to be in the market for a fully loaded truck in a year.

Edit: The certification process was a complete and total disaster. I took the car to a family reunion a few weeks after purchasing it, and my uncle who certifies vehicles for a different dealership says right away, "I can tell this isn't certified" I asked why, and he responded that not all the tires match. That's one of the simple requirements. Long story short 8 months of talking to everyone including the owner and I finally got my car certified. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
