Absolutely love this company, nothing but awesome reptiles and responsive communications.

I order an incubator from here and it arrived perfect.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a tank from them that arrived broken and they wouldnt replace it. They told me to go local to get it fixed, if I wanted to take the time to go local I would have just bought the cage local. I ordered it online because it is easier and less time consuming. They outright refused to replace it, we had to go through paypal for a refund. Also, I think many of the positive reviews on here may be fake. Many of the accounts with the generic user icons that gave a positive review have only ever reviewed big apple pet supply and nothing else. I think that those accounts were made specifically to put up a good review for the business by the owner. Deceitful practice. Will never deal with them again.

My Response to the owner's response: Demonstrably false. You only offered to pay a full refund once we went to paypal. I told you that I didn't want to take the time to go local, if I did then I would have just bought the cage locally. The point is that when the part was broken you refused to replace it. In the emails you guys said that it would be "easiest" to buy the part locally, easiest for who? You? The part doesn't matter so much as your poor response in handling it.

I decided to order a new baby corn snake after my original one (from Petco) sadly passed away for no discernible reason a few weeks ago. I really wanted another corn snake but i didn't want to buy one from a chain pet store again and I couldn't make it to any reptile expos, so I turned to online sellers. When I browsed Big Apple's corn snake selection, I was excited to see that they had baby okeetee corn snakes (okeetees are my favorite morph). I was leery about buying a live animal online, but after watching Big Apple's YouTube videos and looking into their social media, I decided that they were trustworthy sellers and I went ahead and purchased a female okeetee corn snake. She arrived this morning and she's getting adjusted to her new home, but she's obviously very healthy, and Big Apple promises the shipment of healthy reptiles. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the delivery of my corn snake despite my initial concerns about buying one online, but I'm confident that I can trust Big Apple should I wish to buy more live reptiles from them in the future.

Every animal I ve received from these guys arrived healthy and on time. They clearly state that they DO NOT DO REFUNDS. It s either store credit or a replacement animal. It s extremely rare that your animal will arrive doa. Trust me, and give these guys a try before anyone else.

10/10 would recommend using this company. The customer service was very responsive outside of business hours and I was very impressed with their knowledge and positivity. When presented with a baby snake that would not eat they were very helpful with suggestions and really went above and beyond to help with my issue. Very pleased. Would buy from again.

We love our tortoise! Big Apple Pets sent us a healthy, stubborn, and very affectionate animal. My daughter adores her, and we think she is so much fun. Big Apple has been quick to respond to all our comments and questions.

My albino cornsnake showed up today and wow is it a fine specimen thank you Big Apple :D

A few weeks ago back in April 2016 I ordered a Guyana Red Tail Boa. It was a yearling, but it was still small, which I really liked, not too much larger than a baby.
I was very pleased with the GRTB. It is a male and he is a very beautiful Guyana, he has the light color background, high pink sides, black speckled belly and a gorgeous deep red tail with clean black and white rings. I wanted to post this, so if anyone is looking to purchase a nice Guyana or Suriname boa, Big Apple has really beautiful ones.
I've owned several nice Columbian Boa BCI'S, and even have two in my collection now, but this is my first BCC true red tail. Their is quite a difference in the BCI'S and the BCC's.
If you want a BCC species you won't be displeased.

I contacted them through email on a Sunday asking if they had a Female Marine Toad in stock, Gina responded immediately and said she will check first thing Monday morning and get back with me. Gina contacted me back first thing Monday morning. I placed my order around 1pm on Monday and I received my Female Marine Toad/Cane Toad/Rhinella marina healthy and hopping on Tuesday as promised. I asked for a beautiful Female and Big Apple Pet Supply delivered! Thanks guys, you have definitely earned my future business!

I tried dealing with them last month and they had really bad customer service. I got sent a series of condescending and snarky emails for trying to inquire about my purchase coming in wrong. Unhelpful and incredibly rude.

I have attempted ordering from them twice. Both times it fulfills the order, but then cannot deliver. They offer little explanation and they don't keep their website accurately updated.

Excellent customer service!! I was very impressed, quick response time and very friendly people. My snake came in the mail very safe and is very healthy, she is doing awesome and I couldn't be happier!!!!!

I purchased several heat mats and cords with connectors from Big Apple. I did not open the box and check the items when they arrived and when I did I found one connector missing. I contacted them and asked if they could send me just the missing connector. I was told that they were not responsible for their error because I didn't notify them by the Next Business Day. Not good customer service and I will shop elsewhere.

Wonderful assistance and highly professional from beginning to end. I ordered a custom turtle tank with a penthouse and can tell you it was a sheer pleasure doing business with Big Apple. From the help I received with placing the order to when I received the finished product this company delivered as promised. My turtles are loving their new home and I've received many compliments on the tank. I highly recommend Big Apple.

Simple I ordered a chinchilla sized hide house, and I got a mouse sized one. tried getting my money back but NOOOOOOOOOOO they said I ordered that. I also ordered a pet home and I got a dead hamster when I ordered a FrIGGIN DEAD MOUSE. ridiculous.

I messaged Big Apple Monday morning (7/20/2020), Steven responded within 3 minutes. I was looking for a female Pied Ball Python. I think he went above and beyond to help me out. He was able to find a female Hi White Pied Ball Python, picked her out and was shipped out the same day. I recieved her today and I was beyond excited to get my new girl! I think this place is GREAT! Will definitely be ordering from them again when I'm ready for another Ball Python.

This company is so great, they always give great service I got two snakes from them so far and both times the customer service was the best. I suggest to anyone looking for a pet or pet supplies online chose this site you won't regret it I sure didn't.

I ordered 2 corn snakes on the 25th and received them on the 26th by 12noon . They were very well packages. The snakes are in great health and very amazing looking . Thank you Big Apple !!!!!

I bout NEW DIGITAL CHIP - BAH-1000DC Reptile Thermostat With DC Chip Technology from you guys in May and its already broken. It cost me almost $50USD, more then in Canadian dollars. Now u guys r telling me I have 2 spend $100 at lest 2 ship 2 Canada. No where did I read that and u should have never let me payment go through if that was the case. U guys have nothing else I want and should consider urself lucky I am even giving u a second change 4 that kind of money. Now my ball pythons tank is getting 2 hot. I expect my stuff 2 be spent 2 me once payed 4 if my payment go through (which it is showing it went through on my visa).even if I did not spent $100 bc it went through. Do not ever expect my business again. And dont ever expect ur review from me 2 be changed 2 something better. I would give u 0 stars if I could. And I cant call u bc its long distance 4 me. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMER!

Horrible company- I ordered a custom tank from them and on the invoice they quoted me for UPS shipping. 2 weeks go by and i get a tracking number from a different carrier. When the carrier tried to deliver, they refused to come down my road because they thought the truck was too tall. I offered to guide them down but they still wouldnt come. I talked to Big Apple Pet Supply about the problem and they told me that i have to pick it up. I tried explaining that i do not have a vehicle that could fit the tank and if i did i wouldve just bought the tank local. They refused to actually have the company they quoted me on the invoice deliver it because "it would cost too much" I was going to just buy somewhere else but then Big Apple said they wouldnt refund my shipping even though they lied to me on the quote. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! YOU WILL GET BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!
