We visited the store only for stationary (2nd floor) this time. It has an amazing collection of stationary, post cards, Paris souvenirs on the relatively unique and expensive side and helpful personnel. There was even a cashier who was joking when we wanted to pay, very friendly person indeed. Don't forget to check out stamps sections and other handcraft aisles. We found amazing this for our travel book and home items. It's impossible to leave without buying something if you love stationary. There are also many reasonable priced items so don't be afraid to browse everywhere.

A little pricey but the service is extraordinary. The DIY (bricolage) department in the basement is staffed by people who really know their stuff and are happy to take the time to give advice.

You have done quality work. The store is very beautiful, well thought out and very, very welcoming. I liked it a lot and I already talked about it around me. Thank you so much for this wonderful renewal.

An impressive place and full of all kinds of brands. Quite expensive and sometimes extremely crowded, this place does not want to stay there for hours and hours.

In addition, having chosen socks, I queued to pay ... 10 minutes later the saleswoman left at the moment of cash registering me very unpleasantly to go elsewhere to settle. I decide to take another turn and come and pay later.
Returning 45 minutes later, she remakes the same scene to a lady in front of me and myself. So we both rested the articles.

We left angry and disappointed ... Too bad that customers are not treated properly.

The BHV has moulted! A new name The BHV / Swamp for another more modern concept! The decoration changes, the collections too. It is always nice to visit: department books, decoration, house. The aficionados of DIY are not forgotten: at level -1 is the radius DIY.

Careful with this shop. Although they are located in a prime area of Paris, their service is one of poor quality. I cashed in 500 for a winter jacket needing sleeves adjustment. They lost my jacket. I kept calling them for almost 6 weeks before getting it back. Clearly the premium paid does not reflect on the customer experience offered in this place. Not as trustworthy high street name as advertised.

The tote store I knew as a kid in the 1970s has changed a lot. No more stacked items, no hitchhikers ... it's like we've gotten rid of the mess and all that's left is Town Hall. And it s for the best. By aligning itself with competing supermarkets (Galleries Lafayette, Bon Marche) the BHV has had a facelift, relegating its boui-boui side to oblivion. This results in better logic in the arrangement of different shelves, offering a better shopping experience in more ventilated aisles. Special care has been taken in the reception: no more saleswomen with a 4km mine. In addition, a lot of work has been done on the choice, the BHV no longer has to be ashamed of the competition. Finally, the basement reserved for DIY is still one of the best in Paris. Only downside: the prices. Here too the BHV has unfortunately aligned itself with its competitors.

I went there a few years ago but the staff are not friendly, especially in the branded dishes department. A great lady greeted me very badly and literally yelled at me. because according to her I asked too many questions about the products. What they don't know is that without the customers there wouldn't be a store so when I see their behavior for me they don't seem worried. I haven't been back since. I prefer to buy on the internet or at the Lafayettes or Printemps galleries. They are more commercial.

I always find what I need. I really like the fact that there is everything in their store: fashion, books, hardware, luggage ... and I love their big stationery with so many creative ideas or ideas to offer to others. Easy access in public transport!

Another Paris department store accessible to Parisians but the times are changing and new product trends are favoring the upper middle class. A lot of references for the dishes, the house have disappeared in favor of trendy gourmet stalls. Too bad if this policy continues. The specificity of the BHV disappears in the pangs of the same and of the one for well-known customers

Everything is more expensive than elsewhere. The salesmen are unpleasant. The store Man is not much better, it still lacks sizes, the restocking must be done twice a year and still with luck. Balances are just a joke. A small tour in the same type of store across the Rhine can set the record straight. A very good point though, and that has always been the highlight of this store, the DIY department. And if, here too, we pay the price, the quality of the tools offered is remarkable. I, for my part, found a product, not found elsewhere, in this store.

An Institution .... yes but unfortunately faded !!! The staff is of the same ilk as their colleagues at Monoprix (belong to the same group): no hello, thank you, goodbye! Without forgetting the Vigils, bad image!

Great
