Food is a little pricey but you get good value for it. Service could have been better but wasn't terrible, I would not hesitate to visit again.

An excellent coffee table and a brilliant and sweet service
Presentation spot on. Hot white chocolate. Delicious
Tea room and small catering of high quality. Baked pastries and slices of bread are delicious.
A must in Dublin
Absolutely recommended, very reminiscent of an English tearoom. The desserts are excellent and even the tea
This probably makes me sound old, but it used to be a great place, not so much anymore. You would get the best breakfast, it was reasonably priced, and it was open very early to very late (for a cafe). It lost it's charm when they tried to get fancy.
Disappointed. Staff need training in customer care and service. Food mediocre.
Excellent atmosphere. Brilliant theatre. Lovely food. SPECIAL.
Delicious, original and very friendly service! I recommend 100%
Bewley's Grafton Street Dublin Ireland 2017 the 1st of the 12th went in last week's to experience Bewley's on Grafton hard to say whether it is good value or not or expensive or not all over all the did a nice job on the restoration work of the restaurant standards very high as far as I went in the way of coffee with friends and found it a bit on the expensive side that's all I can say for now maybe it might
We just returned from a 2 week family vacation in Ireland and we stopped by for some mid afternoon snacks and drinks. Everything was excellent from the friendly fast/courteous staff to delicious chicken wings and the homemade meatballs. This is not just another touristy place to visit.! its a very good experience while in Dublin.
Bewleys has also being synonymous with Grafton St and it's great to see its famous doors open once again after too long an absence. The newly refurbished cafe has lost none of its elegance but now it has expanded to accommodate alot more diners. All the old Bewleys reliables are here like the famous sticky buns and afternoon tea but the menu now includes extensive lunch and dinner options. Larger in size yet still managing to retain
its unique character, Grafton St Bewleys is one of life's treats and not to be missed if your returning home or visiting Dublin for the first time.
This venue is so lovely and so busy, the coffe was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly but it took me around 10 min to 15 to get my coffe but overall really good I totally would recommend it to anyone
It will do. The cake (carrot cake) was very high quality and delicious. They brought everything quickly. Nice interior to the classics. Beilis coffee (good, but harsh for me, it s softer) plus cappuccino (full) plus a cake - 20 euros.
Very disappointed with prices for the food .its way overpriced for breakfast options .better value for money for breakfasts in other cafes not too far away .won't be back
Best scones I ve had on our whole Dublin city trip. They serve a mean cappuccino as well. Friendly and courteous staff. One star reduction because of the mathematics issue, allowing our server to score a euro more. I don t hold it against her at all, it s a trick I ve come across a few times now - wouldn t have expected it at Bewley s though. Didn t ruin the experience, would definitely go back again and maybe next time help out with the maths...
Gorgeous food and great place to eat and have a cup of coffee! The stained windows look amazing and would definetly come back.
Blooming Ulysses was performed there on Bloomsday - and what an amazing performance it was!
Usually a bit of a queue at the front door but it moves quickly as it seats 500. Great service and the tea and food we're delicious. The service was fast and friendly and also very helpful in choosing our meal. Interior looks amazing and has lots of art work around. I recommend sitting upstairs as the ground floor can be quite noisy and you will be seated close to others.
Must visit this Bewley's when in Dublin. A real treat awaits you there.
Steer clear of the blueberry cheesecake, it had a rice krispie base that was stale. Service was a bit slow but staff was friendly. Good coffee and hot chocolate.
Wow! What a great ambiance and VERY nice breakfast. We were glad to get there on time and able to grab a seat.
Breakfast was very filling and was fit for gods.
Will recommend this to anyone!
Nerver again! During a fire alert server, they did not pay.
Never again!
Life-threatening profit vulture!
When we were there the fire alarm went off with the announcement and request to leave the building. The Kellener immediately claim that the alarm was triggered by accident and that we should pay for it first. The main entrance door was locked during the alarm and people were prevented from leaving. This is not possible !!
Although we have not blazed, after the alarm was off after a long time and we had just been cashed we have seen how two employees from the kitchen in a Wandniesche screwed in the ladies room to gas taps. Presumably, the alarm was triggered in the kitchen and instead of evacuating everyone as we should have, we were kept back in the building. This is life threatening! Luckily, there was no panic or shit in the crowd .....
Popped in for a sanity break during the Christmas shopping and it definitely recharged my batteries!
Had a bowl of soup and a sandwich with a glass of wine followed by coffee and a mince pie as you would.
The food was excellent and the staff very welcoming and professional as usual. NB
There was a real fire! The staff are rightly very proud of the coffee logs used to feed the flames m. A real eco effort on behalf of Bewleys they should be rightly proud of!!!
Grafton Street Bewleys is a national treasure and should be appreciated as such. Beautiful and stunning stained glass windows, wooden floors and booth seatings reminiscent of another era. Three is a patisserie at the entrance where you can also buy your coffee to take home and brew yourself
Absolutely recommend a visit
Breakfast not what it was when I went a couple of years ago.
Beautifully renovated historic cafe. Try the espresso martini, it's delicious. Coffee, cakes and more substantial food available. Staff friendly and attentive.
Nice fancy vibe cafe! Lovely tea made with tea leaves and nice coffee too! Chocolate brownies and raspberry scones are nice! Just a bit pricey!
Lovely place to sit, upstairs, in between two fires on a cold rainy Sunday. The waiter was a very polite and efficient young chap. Bewleys light breakfast was excellent - the bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatos and black and white pudding with soda bread, perfect. Good strong coffee. Could not have been better. And I arrived here after five weeks of travelling from Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim. Tromso and further, Copenhagen, Berlin and Paris. And downstairs the following day was good too.
Friendly environment - an institution giving insight into Dublin history. Beautiful artwork. Food was served very quickly with a good selection.
Great food and an amazing cake section at the entrance. Very busy at all time...
There is nowhere more iconic in Dublin than this Grafton Street location for meeting friends and having a chat over coffee.
Breakfasts are good but a little on the small side, but this is a place to have tea or coffee and sit upstairs overlooking the busy pedestrian thoroughfare that is Grafton Street.
Unfortunately Bewley's is due to close for approximately six months from the end of February for renovation works that will see the upstairs floors turned to other uses.
Nice warm place.
To have.
We brunch there.
we taste there.
Very good cocktail.
Nice relaxed atmosphere for an afternoon tea/coffee with a cake. Set lunch or dinner available. Friendly staff, good food, great location.
Don't miss the Lazy Band, a collective of talented musicians playing Americana, folk, originals in the Theatre on the 2nd floor. Every last Monday from 8pm. Free admission!
Nice decoration and good location, somewhat expensive prices and not the best you can find in Dublin.
Very nice service and seats. But they don t offer my favorite cakes I had last year
Got chocolate and coffee are perfect! Just need to visit earlier otherwise some delicious cakes would be sold out
Lovely ambiance but far removed from the old Bewley's cafe. The soft product has changed considerably to the worse and the prices are very expensive. I think it is catering more for tourists than home folk. Poor service to an extent that the attendant ( don't like the waitress label) didn't know what's available on the menu. Bring back the old Bewley's of 30 years ago.
A verry bussy place, but well worth a visit. Great coffee, cakes and atmosphere.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been here in Dublin. A trip in the times with colors and flavors of the 40's. The decoration, everything refers to a time that I did not live but I know it was beautiful in rich detail.
I just wondered if I ordered a double espresso and it came with less than half a cup of coffee. Tiny indeed !!!
The clerk got in a bit of trouble by being new to the post, maybe ... at most the food was ok. Price salty but pay the scenery!
If you want to go to a Cafe to escape the riff Raff, this is good. A bit dear but worth it.
A very fine and elegant location, despite this suitable for everyone. A very good pure Irish style breakfast.
Excellent experience with kind and attentive staff. The value for money is more than honest.
It's a classic. The building is exceptional, the drinks are OK. But it is worthwhile, it's iconic. At least a coffee or tea on the upper floor. The decor is wonderful in all it's wooden splendour.
I can never get enough of this place, history or scones !
Very nice coffee house, wide selection of dishes, excellent scones and other desserts.
Very busy but a nice informal place for a coffee and a piece of cake
Its It's like going back in time. Had a lovely breakfast and then had a look around upstairs.
Will be back one day!
Dublin has been a fantastic city to visit and the people are so friendly.
Very expensive both tea and coffee were served cold.
I had the light breakfast and was treated to the yummiest scrambled eggs.
The experience has not changed in over 60 years. Wonderful place
Service was incredible and the deserts and hot chocolate were amazing. Small portions but they were quite rich and filling so it wasn't much of an issue. Pricey but you're paying for the experience and aesthetic. Expect to pay more for less and you'll enjoy it, otherwise you may be disappointed.
Bewleys has become overpriced so it's not such a good destination anymore
We were in Dublin at 8am and glad this place was open to have a nice breakfast in comfort and peace. Got to sit by the fire on a cold December morning and relax. Great way to start the day. Staff were very nice. Toilets were clean.
Apparently an institution in Dublin and it certainly feels like one inside away from the busy shopping street there is calm and tranquility. Great scones served with a fruit concentrate and cream quite delicious!
Great place. Can meet, eat, and see a play all in one Bewleys of Grafton St.
Fantastic place, ideal for a Sunday afternoon treat. I especially liked the pianist who appears to be a reincarnation of the great Les Dawson, his classical rendition of the toy story theme tune was a real pleasure and really enhanced the dining experience. Top job!
Good space inside and good service but not worth queuing for
Great for a coffee. Friendly helpful staff. Value for money. A great place for a break when in Grafton Street. 10/10
Entrance a bit of luck in this establishment, charmed by the storefront, the heart was confirmed inside! The Bewley's is superb, the team is attentive all is elegant and warm, but surely not stuffy. In the aftermath of St Patrick, I let myself be tempted by the St Patrick 's special hot chocolate: a visual treat as well as a taste. The scones are delicious too.
Bit late were arrived so not much left in terms of food but service was good and coffee is fab
Great food and a beautiful cafe but the service was most impressive. Excellent staff.
Promptly shown to a table and given menus. After almost 15 minutes gave up trying to get attention from anyone to take out order so got up and walked out.
The impressive stained glass windows and the beautiful place do not hide the chaos that is organized when there are many people. The letter is not clear. The treatment is correct.
Dissapointing .Cold food .replaced by same but colder still . Very over priced . Very busy so service was poor & slow. Won't be back .
A piece of Dublin's history, amazing decor and they do know how to make a nice cappuccino!
Greatest tea rooms ever been to. Interior is stunning. Food is delicious. Go downstairs to see the bakery behind the glass. Almond bun rocks.
