the security here is nuts. brought a regular sized purse and they stopped me to measure it
i offered to dump every item in bag and they told me miss the concert i travelled 2 1/2 hours to see or leave my bag somewhere
the head of security thinks he is the cia and finally finds someone to hold my bag. if they dont want you to bring bags put in some lockers to leave tthem.it ruined our night being threatened and standing like criminals in a corner while they decided what to do. and to make matters worse we finally go in and saw numerous women with large totes and bags double my size. they ruined what would have been a nice concert.

The place is immense. I've never been here before. Went into the military in 69 & never got the chance to get here. I can understand how so many people were there. It just keeps going and going. Absolutely beautiful!

Great experience! A must place to take your kids and let them learn our history and inspire them for life. Better than any Social Study class.
The minute you'll arrive to Bethel the vibes are in the air and they are so good! Just take them with you and keep spreading the love & peace!!!

A great venue and museum. We came early for the concert so that we could check out the museum. Our concert tickets entitled us to a discount on the museum admission. The concert was great. The venue has really good sight lines. The staff is professional and friendly.

A great show on beautiful grounds. The staff is first rate. There is a wonderful set up to help those with accessibility issues. My thanks to the venue for making our night even better.

Seen a ton of concerts here in the last fews years. The concert ticket prices are great... I don't want to go anywhere else. Drinks are expensive, but cost of tickets are low, so I guess that's where they make their money. Beautiful place, great vibe, always have an excellent time here.

Venue is amazing. I was there for a company event and their staff was very accommodating. The place was super clean. They gave us a tour around the original Woodstock site. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Everything from the concert setup to completion was seamless and easy.

The Woodstock Festival museum was interesting, but if you are going to actually SEE the original site of the festival, you will probably be as disappointed as I was. The original site is not within view of the museum, and all paths down to More

Bethel Woods is a great venue in a beautiful scenic setting. The venue offers seats or a lawn area to view a show. The design of the amphitheater ensures that stage views are great from anywhere you sit.

There are food and drink vendors located at the top and bottom of the venue along with rest rooms. It's a really great place to see a show.

Tip: The venue is only an hour and a half from Bergen county and has many of the same acts that play at the PNC Bank arts center. Its a beautiful venue in a great setting and often it's easier to get seats at Bethel Woods.

The drive into the concert area is way longer than it would seem, thought my GPS was broken. Was really stunned at the size and look of the place once I made it through the back roads that lead there.

Security at the door was not over aggressive. Views were amazing. I went to a free family event they sponsored on the 4th of July and am now looking forward to attending a show there when one I like comes in.

Definitely wouldnt want to even consider chancing the drive home if you drink anything there though, windy, dark back roads with ditches, lots of homes and families and random lakes and twists. Dont risk it.

Lovely grounds and appropriate vendors. Sound system if possible could be improved to help audience understand lyrics sung by performers. Overall, very nice venue for listening to summertime music outdoors. Seating map should be provided near ticket booth (possibly overlooked).

Excellent venue to enjoy music while taking some clean air. If you don't mind the elements, I recommend the lawn section (rent the chairs, bring a blanket) as you can have all the room you need to dance, listen or eat while the event is on going.

So happy we stopped here to explore the Woodstock exhibit, this being its 50th anniversary year. I never went or knew about it until after the fact, but at 18 in 1969, I loved the music then and I loved hearing it all again. Excellent exhibit and we were able to walk the grounds to see where it all originated and see the monument.

Always a great place to see a show, visit for an event or just peruse the museum. Breathtaking grounds, buildings and amphitheater harmonious with setting. Sound quality exceptional. Seating out of elements is under amphitheater, lawn seats are a bargain and are the most fun. For most concerts you can rent lawn chairs for $5. Beer tents abound as well as a variety of food vendors and options. Bathrooms are ample and clean. Definitely come early and tailgate! Everyone does... There are ample, clean port-a-potties in front lots for tailgaters and patrons to use prior to hates opening.

Paid VIP parking as well as free lots. The biggest drawback is there is really only one road in and out and getting out of the lot after the show, even the VIP lots can be an absolute nightmare taking hours. This has been a deterrent for many locals, but this summer I saw *Jimmy Eat World* & *Incubus* and I got out of one of the front lots closest to the venue (the closer you are parked, usually the harder to get out) but managed to exit without leaving early in under a half an hour, so things definitely seemed to have improved over the years. I usually see a show here 1 or 2 times a summer. Season passes are a great deal, but at least 1/2 to 2/3 of shows here are big country acts, and I'm not a fan of the genre, so it doesn't work for me. There are many party bus service to and from the venue if you don't want to drink and drive or deal with parking. Was fortunate to be at the very first concert at this venue and it has never disappointed over the years and is always a great time!
