Only a bad attitude can ruin your stay. Food is a little pricey but what do you expect. You're not in Kansas anymore. The grounds are gorgeous. Arrive early to stroll around.
This place is amazing. We see 3-4 concerts every summer. Such a gorgeous place!
First time there, beautiful place, neat clean and great to see a show as well!
Love going to concerts there, even in the pouring rain. Security was being a bit of a stick in the mud about people sliding down the hill in the mud. But we still had a great time
Everything I thought I wouldn't like about this venue, ended up being things I loved. I didn't like the idea that it wasn't on the actual Woodstock field and that it had been made into an amphitheatre. After visiting for the 50th anniversary weekend I must say, I love that they preserved that site. And the venue they've built there is magnificent. With plenty to offer. It's like being in a beautiful state park. Do yourself a favor, arrive early and explore the grounds. It gave me that feeling I had when I walked out of Redrocks. "I can't wait to return to this venue."
We had a great time Friday & Saturday August 16th & 17th at the Ringo & Santana concerts!!! Really enjoyed the Bethel Woods Museum, grounds, and all the great music!
Love it there.don't have a bad thing to say about the place
Imposible to get in and imposible to get out. What a joke. Organization at its poorest. For others, that don't know better, its acceptable.
Beautiful, serene, magical, historical, cultural, wonderful..it continues w music, art, family. I could on and on.....staff excellent.........
Such a beautiful place!! Peace and love always love the festivals the concerts love to take my shoes off and walk in the grass
Best concert performance ever held here it's a must buy your tickets and go
Bethel Woods has come a long way. Being a native to Sullivan County, I remember the "A Day in the Garden" festivals all the way to 1998-1996. Bethel Woods have come leaps and bounds. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite venues. The grounds are impeccably kept, and the ambiance of Bethel Woods is astounding. The acoustics of the pavilion are amazing, and even on the lawn or in the seats, you will always have a good view. Overall, one of the best experiences with a venue that I have had in a long while. Go see a show here!
What a great venue! Thank goodness for nice weather. ..not sure what happens when it rains...pricey beer but we took a party bus from an hour away and tailgated...lots of walking but they have a transportation assist tent that was wicked crowded.soent $6 for lawn chair seating. Couldn't really see the performer thank goodness for jumbo tran..would absolutely return
Awesome venue and great staff. Highly recommend watching a show there
Absolutely love this place, lynard skynard concert was awesome. Good times!
Roger Daltery with Hudson Valley Philharmonic performing Tommy was Excellent!
The venue was beautiful and clean! The sound of the acoustic's was mind blowing.
First time visitor for 50 year anniversary. Seems to be a great venue.
Premium parking is the only way to go, food was great, and sitting under the pavilion provided a great view.
K-fest concert... Here with my girlfriend's daughter...(age 16) never been to a concert before...
Saw the Peter Max exhibit. Small but terrific. The grounds are lovely. I'm looking forward to a concert sometime. Worth the trip.
We love Bethel Woods. We go every year. Great shows.great staff.great fun! Can't wait for next year!!
Shinedown concert was awesome...Bethel Woods is always a great experience.
I've been here several times. I've enjoyed some terrific concerts here.
. place is always ultra clean. Staff is more than curtious and friendly. Price for shows are very reasonable. Sound is incredible.
I haven't been here in a couple of years though. Reason being, I'm a huge country music fan and they get the same performers coming back. I mean really, how many times do you want to see the same performers?
The Orange County Fairgrounds has has some awesome performances the past couple of years. Why can't Bethel Woods hire A-list stars like Blake Shelton?
Get some new performers!!!
Give yourself time to experience this. Take the tour our girl was wonderful.
The venue was amazing and Adam Sandler was amazing!
Nice venue. Indoor and outdoor music Hall. Go for indoor seats. Long Walk from parking area. 20 mins unless you pay for premium parking. At the site of Woodstock
Thank you to Sullivan County and Bethel Woods for all the hard work and organizing to make Woodstock 50 Anniversary a great experience. Fun was had by all and all was very respectful of others.
Beautifully designed museum experience. Educational and entertaining.
Great museum they have fire works every fourth out July.
Highly recommend the museum. Have gone here so many times with friends from across the world. Everyone appreciates Woodstock memorabilia and there is always a changing down stairs exhibit.
This place is gorgeous. The layout is awesome and well thought out, tons of bathrooms and food places to eat.
Amazing place and nearly every staff member is awesome except VIP room supervisor. Food is excellent and so are drinks in green room. Ask for Katie as a bartender
Worked mountain jam here. Place was great aside from the rain and mud but that's not the venues fault. Go see a show here you won't be let down. Fam vibes
Everybody should check it out which piece of History never to be repeated
Museum is small and overpriced, luckily looking at the field is free. Bring back the fireworks too!
Excellent venue. Great sound system. Very clean and lots of security.
Was there to help the Shriners from Kalurah Shrine sell CDs. There were 18 of us helping out. The two charities benefitted by the sale were the Springfield, Massachusetts Shriners Children's Hospital and the Lynyrd Skynyrd Foundation. The rain held off until we were driving home. The concert rocked.
Concert was great, but getting in is as bad as airport security. You might take a 20 minute walk to the gate and then be forced to take your bags back to the car. Check the website CAREFULLY for the rules.
Kinda BS that you can't even bring in a small purse. It's not for safety since even concerts in the city don't care about that.
Beautiful place to have mysteryland this year. Looking forward to going there again soon.
This place is amazing, an awesome place for concerts, the museum full of stories and memorabilia
Awesome! Do not miss this museum! Recommend you take the guided tour, then go back to take in everything else. Take in the outdoors to see the field where Woodstock concert happened. You will gain a new perspective of the history and events of Woodstock. So glad a friend recommended this place to us!
Went to Def Leppard, Styx and Tesla concert last night and the bands were AWESOME. The problem we had was after the concert getting out of the this hell hold. We were parked all the way in the back at row F13 and figured being there we would be the first ones out. It took us over 1 hour and 1/2 to get out of the parking lot! Very poorly organization on directing people out. We have been to tons of concert and this was by far the worst when it came to leaving the parking lot.
Concert (Lynard Skynyrd) was excellent, had lawn seats picked where we wanted to sit. Nice! Rained a little not bad. WONT GO BACK. Trying to leave the parking lot spent an hour moved 30 feet, finally an hour and half we started moving, too 2 1/2 hours to get to rt 17. Plus beer is $45 a six pack (or more)
2nd concert of the summer and we loved it. Bought seats this year inste add of lawn and we were much more comfortable. Would love Pentatonix to come back again!!
First time there, nice setup for market in and outside with food trucks and heaters
Enjoyed a great concert here by Neil Diamond. The sound system is phenomenal & the big screens make it possible to see even if you have distant lawn tickets. Pack your patience for both the approach to the venue (long lines of bumper to bumper traffic) & exiting the lots (a slow go). We were in the furthest lot (A) so the walk up to the pavilion was a bit long...but..."last in, first out"...we got out onto the main street pretty quickly....much faster than friends in Premium parking (closer to pavilion). I'd choose the outer lot again...the walk is good exercise! . 4 stars due to traffic snarls.
The museum is incredible. Really brings the festival back to life.
It also features changing exhibits.
So check back often to see what is on display.
Bethel is a premier spot to see a concert. One of my favorites!! And I've been to many here in New York.
