Great place. Incredible history. Stage can be seen...
Great place. Incredible history. Stage can be seen from almost everywhere. I left before the full encore and had no problems with any kind of traffic.

A high standard for musical events and festivals that gives the viewer a sense of intimacy with the musician.
Great concert venue and always an interesting exhibit at the Museum! A must-see for those who grew up in the 60's!
Always amazingly beautiful, wonderful people, and exceptional hospitality.
Great venue!! Gorgeous inside and great food options!
It was the first time I have ever been there and it was nice and the people were nice as well... #mountain jam 2019
Bethel was fantastic. So clean and every seat is a good seat had a ball and going back for another show in July.
Great venue and wonderful area. Friendly staff and a lot of history since 1969.
Great outdoor venue. Nice crowd. Courteous workers. The worst part was incompetent people directing traffic after the concert. It was chaotic. Took us 40 minutes to get out of parking lot B
Wonderful historic venue ... Free parking , great sound.
Everything there was expensive.$4 for a bottle of water. Took an hour to get out after the concert.
Needs more than 5 stars. This is a fabulous tribute to the Woodstock Festival. What a stroll down Memory Lane!!
Great venue...staff at opening gate were overwhelmed and unorganized but once inside everything was ok
Great venue - friendly people - reasonable prices on food and beverages - clean
Loved every second of this experience. Long live the spirit of peace and love....
My favorite place to see a show!!!!! So much nostalgia, so many vendors and the grounds are gorgeous.
Second concert I've seen at Bethel Woods and it did not disappoint. I like the venue because it has good sound and also a wide assortment of food and beverages. Bathrooms are clean and neat and the staff is very friendly
If you go for a concert it sucks, the traffic is ridiculous
This is an absolutely amazing venue. Picture perfect. Lots to do here even while concerts are going on. Walkways, fountains, benches. Immaculately groomed. Friendly people. You can bring blankets to sit on but no bags of any kind. No large purses. No pets. Tons of parking. Can say enough about it.
Easy entry, helpful staff, lovely walkways, food stands move quickly and comfortable seating.
Beautiful peaceful place.Great concert,great security,clean,real bathrooms plus portable ones,food decent, beers.Had a great time.
parking is weird and a long walk but otherwise great sound
Very chill, great vibes... good music makes for great people, Santana rocked it out under a beautiful full moon.. can't wait to go back!
Went for the holiday light show which was wonderful! The food service was unorganized and unable to deal with delivering food to the customer that ordered and paid for it.
Woodstock 50 weekend was the coolest vibe I've experienced at a music festival in a while. The campus is immaculate, the staff was well informed and organized. It was a great feeling being on the site where it all began in 1969.
Food at Ovations is great and the museum is fantastic
Such a great venue!!! Plenty of parking, clean, easy navigation inside, staff is friendly. There is no bad seat in the house.
Beautiful venue, so much history there. Parking was easy.
I would highly recommend visiting this Woodstock Museum it was fun looking back at that Era and it tells the whole story of Woodstock it was definitely worth the price of admission.
It was awesome to see memories of an event that I was too young to attend.
Great venue. Easy to get in and out of. Did and drink tents are set up around the amphitheatre with little waiting.
Beautiful landscape. Great venue. Woodstock museum..a must see.
It's a wonderful place to visit for a concert experience.
Wet and muddy....parking stinks. A worker told me my purse was probably too big before I got to security. My boyfriend had to walk a mile to the car and back. The show was great. The Brothers Osborne were the best. Always love Dierks Bentley. Lanco was better than we expected.
Great venue. Quite organized. Genius idea to add fireworks it really slowed down the rush to get out.
Lot of history, on the spot staff, world class acoustics.
Phenomenal museum for Woodstock history. I'm not of the Woodstock generation but am fascinated that 450,000 people could come together for 3 days of music. Great museum, beautiful grounds. Will be back for a concert.
Great venue. Great music! Good food. Try the brisket(to die for). Love the outdoor venue. Just gets messy in the rain!
A Powerful and Beautiful place where history truly left it's MARK! Astounding Music Venue's - Summer/Spring and anytime in between the lasting , enjoying effects of Sound, encompassed in rhythm brings a long everlasting enjoyment and pleasure within the ART of Music....
Fantastically well organized venue! Beautiful grounds, comfortable seats, and very friendly staff!!
Great venue, saw willie Nelson..... super day, great music.
Fun well done museum. Beautiful building and landscape.
I've been here a few times for concerts. Absolutely beautiful place. The grounds are impeccably kept. The music venue section is laid out well and you can easily reach food and restroom accommodations. Two recommended improvements, both involving the GA section; 1) a little more speaker volume and 2) bigger video screens.
Awesome place for a great concert(s)!!! We were there for the 50th anniversary weekend and we had an awesome time! Great atmosphere and great/friendly people for the most part, the music was outstanding and the fireworks at the end of the night on Saturday and Sunday were great! The Doobie Brothers and Santana on Saturday night rocked the sold out show! Grace Potter and the Tedeschi Trucks Band was good, but John Fogerty stole the rainy Sunday night show! He and his band were great, his son did a rendition of Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner almost to a tee, like Hendrix he took off his guitar at the end and lit it on fire, awesome to say the least! Not many people sat during the two hour AWESOME PERFORMANCE by John, his son Shane and the rest of the band! The atmosphere both nights were upbeat, loving and friendly towards each other, even if we didn't know each other! Peace, Love and Music just like the ORIGINAL festival 50 years ago, Wavy Gravy was even there and he looked fabulous too!
Saw Luke Bryan here September 2019.
Very nice venue.
Have to take one star away though for a couple reasons...
The tickets we purchased online and printed at home, listed the things we COULD bring into the concert... nothing we specifically could NOT.
But as we walked to the gate, an employee told us not only was the backpack we were told was allowed, was not, but that my purse was too big .
So we had to walk a considerable distance back to our vehicle (which was supposedly in the handicapped section... which I am... but was still a long & difficult walk) and leave the backpack... (we know now if you have a see through plastic backpack or purse, they can be brought in and any size)
Thankfully I had a smaller purse with me to switch my belongings into and walk all the way back up to the gate.
When we got to the gate and through it... I was once again told my purse did not meet the standards and was directed to a table with 2 female employees.
They proceeded to begin telling me my purse was too large as if I would walk to my vehicle to either change it or leave it there, AGAIN. Mind you, we ve already missed the first performance because of walking back the first time.
I interrupted the employee and informed her I had been told this once before, had already switched to the only other purse I had, that I am a terminal cancer patient & have meds with me I cannot be without, and that there was NO WAY I would be able to make that walk, at that time, yet again.
They could tell I was getting visibly upset.
So they shined a flashlight into my purse, put a tag on it & sent me on my way.
My complaint is not with the employees as they were just following policy... my complaint is that nowhere on any ticket, website, sign, ANYTHING... was it mentioned that a woman could only bring a purse basically the size of a cigarette case in with them.
It was an EXTREMELY distressing way to start what was supposed to be a fun (cancer-talk free) evening.
It is also unfortunate you cannot bring your own chair in and are forced to pay for theirs, but I realize it s one more way for them to make themselves revenue.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Clean and well kept.
The staff was diligent, but sometimes overzealous in their police-ing of people standing on sections of grass and cobblestone that were off limits , but not clearly marked as such. But that is also understandable as part of their job, and I would much rather have them that way than not caring.
There was an extreme amount of young, drunk, people. Some of which we saw needing medical attention because of their condition.
The sound was fantastic. The big screens were visible from many different angles.
The traffic out afterwards was a nightmare. Especially if you were headed in the direction of Bethel once you were lucky enough to get out of the parking lot.
Other than all that... we really did end up having a wonderful time & would definitely go back.
Just wiser now as to what to bring in & how much time to allot getting out afterwards.
Always love being at Bethel Woods, a must visit when visiting the Catskills!
Couple ways to look at this place - good and bad. Our first time here, we saw Zac Brown. The place is beautiful, and the sound system is like nothing I've ever heard - up close/foreground no matter what angle you're at. The venue is on the historic Woodstock Festival site, and the bad news is that even after 48 years the site's traffic management has not improved. At. All. Yes, it's out in the country - I get it. But so is every major city's outdoor venues. Unlike the rest of the world, this place has done nothing to build up the surrounding infrastructure. Nor have they done anything to improve traffic management. You have to guess which way gets you out. Turns out that's actually uphill in lot b, not from the way you came in. They empty the upper lots first and work their way down instead of metering the outflow. State and local cops are rude. God forbid a first-timer has a question. The show was great. The pavilion fantastic. The grounds, restrooms and concessions all first-rate. But for the hour to get in and the two to get out . . . they could be turning turds into gold nuggets for free, and it wouldn't get me to go back
Everything here is difficult, driving, parking, entering, viewing, and leaving. Not worth the effort.
Good shows. They offer a season pass at a discount before showing the list of who's playing the upcoming year. Not a good idea. You need to go to at least 14 shows to get your monies worth. Might not happen if they have shows you aren't interested in.
Venue it's self is nice. Expect to pay Yankee stadium prices for food and drinks. Food isn't bad though.
One of the nicest places I have ever been to see a concert. The staff was super friendly
Just saw Heart, Joan Jett & Cheap Trick yesterday 7/30/2016 What a awesome show!!! Rain and all!!!
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you are in the area take the time to stop. Awesome place.
Great venue and sound system on the site of historic Woodstock.
U have to do something for bathrooms for men I had wait 10 minutes to use it and woman bathroom was no wait at all
We enjoyed steely Dan and the Dolby brothers. Wonderful concert.
Best place on the planet to enjoy the concert experience!
It was an amazing experience that really brings back to another time.
August 2019 Woodstock anniversary weekend was wonderful. Bethel staff was amazing. Beautiful venue!
Amazing outdoor venue under the stars. Also the grounds are beautiful and cool to watch the sun set.
I've been to Bethel Woods 2 or 3 times in the past 10 years... always a great atmosphere, fun people and a very unique setting for any event.
We went for the Holiday Light Show and it was AMAZING!! The lights were so fun and then when you paired it with the music station they suggested it was magic. We went on a tuesday night and there was no wait.
