Best Western Regency Inn Reviews

Unfortunately, I was not convinced of the hotel. First the positive. The rooms are large, the staff very friendly and helpful and the free wifi was really fast. Unfortunately, there are also some negative points. I think the bathroom is too small. The air conditioning could not be adjusted. There was only "off" or "full throttle". I also found the room too dark. There is barely light, through the small window and the location, in the room. All in all, it was okay, but not anymore. I usually know better about Best Western hotels.

1.5 stars for a BW. Why?...
No high def channels at all
No channels guide
Pool was down and not just either pool or hot tub, entire area! I booked to use a hot tub, and main reason for me to pay more for a hotel in general
Pretty noisy out in halls etc until 12 am
I dusted the top of the tv for the cleaning staff as was pretty dusty
Room was missed in some areas for cleanliness
One positive plus...
Friendly check in though and for once HDMI capability to watch Netflix at least

This hotel is filthy and extremely overpriced. Our standard 2 queen room was $260 for one night and there is hair on the floor in the bathroom, closet door is barely hanging on by a thread, hallway carpets very stained and crumbs everywhere, chip/cheesie crumbs in the corners of the room suggest it wasn t even swept properly- much less washed. Location is also very noisy, won t stay another night here! Extremely poor value and worse housekeeping, keep looking!

The staff was great and welcoming and always smiling, the beds were great! Me and my kids had such a good sleep. The breakfast was awesome!! Had so much to eat and more of a selection that I ever thought they would have. The room cable has a lot of channels I watch at home which was a bonus, good parking close to rooms, has decent pool and hot tub which was good after a long drive. The staff and even maintenance guy was inviting and super friendly, the hotel restaurant food was also good. It was close to all the places I was going the next day, the zoo, the kids fun castle and not to far from Vancouver. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone. I am very picky and usually don t give such good reviews for hotels but this one was great I will be coming back for another stay when I am out this way.

The staff is wonderful and helpful all the time. But the breakfast was above average. When staying for more than a weekend with a sports team it s great to have a variety every day of hot and cold and fresh items every day. This location takes it to the next level

Great value. Clean, breakfast buffet has everything imaginable and I enjoyed the small but well-appointed fitness centre. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Stayed 6 nights. Rooms are clean and cozy. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Had an issue with wifi and they quickly relocated me without questions.

The breakfasts were repetitive, but sometimes thats a good thing. Would recommend if you want a budget stay in a nice small town close to many attractions and Vancouver.

We came to this hotel after working long day in Chilliwack. I already booked this hotel in advance so coming late at night, I was met by Nina at front desk and before anything she said don t make noise in room out of nowhere. Felt like 1 star motel. After that she denied our stay for no reason. Even security guard that came was so confused that why she s denying stay. Tried calling best western number but they told me to call in the morning so we had to sleep in our van for entire night after not getting other hotel. Have the whole interaction on video camera and thinking about lawsuit. Don t bother wasting your time and money here.

The room was very clean and comfortable and in a great quiet location.. There is some construction going on in the lobby which made things a little less accessible, but looks like it will be beautiful when complete. Also breakfast was really tasty.

I stayed in the older wing as the front desk staff said it would be quite (new wing is partially along the highway). Room was outdated, TV was standard def, Internet struggled to stream Netflix. The flooring for the room above creeked so bad when the fellow upstairs walked around it woke me up several times so that I could listen to him going to the bathroom. Staff was friendly and breakfast was average for a free breakfast.

Nice staff, clean rooms. The 2 buildings made it a bit inconvenient, having to go outside to get to the breakfast room, and if you forgot your key (which I did) you had to wait outside until someone finally let you in

After wandering around the construction, we finally ended up over in the annex where we walk in our room ... which was already occupied!!! Awkward!! Wifi strength is non existent, service at the restaurant was equally non existent.

Under renovations. Our room had some things new and some just covered over.For the rate expected more.Very close to highway so loud all night.

It's a great place to stay for a reasonable price! it's a very clean place, cozy, excellent customer service and at breakfast time and at the restaurant the food is yummy and the best for us was they have gluten free menu for people with this allergy. We would definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip.

Horrible customer service. Spent 2 nights, room was ok, a little dated for the price. Trying to get in and out of the place was a pain. They block the driveways so the the school parents cant use the parking lot. Do not know what is worse, the lack of community support or the fact that when you want to leave you have to ask them to move there vehicles blocking the driveways. When I asked about it, the lady was very rude like I was an inconvience to them. After staying at numerous best westerns, I think I may have to reconsider where I stay.

Great service, clean rooms and nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold is included as is wifi. Room on the road/parking lot side was loud but our mom's room on the other side was very quiet. Property has a nice sized pool and hot tub (but the hot tub jets don't really work :( ). Rooms were slightly dated but definitely clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again, good value.

Classic highway-side motel, comfortable rooms for the Canadian standard

This was a great place to stay. I recently broke my leg and they gave me a room that was set up for handicap issues which made all the difference. The bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was included and it was good. I would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed here several times im the past . I no longer have a visa after setting all my debts. I do have a debit Visa. They would not allow me to book a room with a debit Visa even with a cash deposit and id abd a federal badge. I will never try to book again

By far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Incredible service and wonderful staff. A real gem and one we will return to.

Clean rooms, we managed to booked day of and was delighted by the experiance. The breakfast had a large selection, much better than most other hotels.

Check on was excellent and we were lucky to get a free upgrade. The rooms air conditioner wasn't working and we weresimply told that maintenance would look at it. No consideration to a poor night of sleep.

Clean rooms, nice staff and the location is okay, yes the bathroom is a bit small but there I am to take a shower and that's it, the furniture is getting a bit old but the beds are great. Conclusion, great as a stopover and highly recommended.

Had tried hotel across the street due to it being less expensive. Definitely a case of getting what you paid for. Shared a room with 3 others and just the quality of the breakfast provided (X3) more than made up for the additional cost of the room.

Wish they have EV plug in. I am sure more people would choose Best Western if they are able to plug in their vehicles.

Nice BW at a decent rate and breakfast selection. Staff has always been very professional from check in to check out.

I went to my Uncle's wedding held at the Conference Center and was quite impressed. The conference center is good for housing 50 guests or so. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff were very friendly.

Staff good, but room smelled bad from frebreeze, changed , not much better.. hot tub cool and jets not working, tv had no digital and no guide,, not usual for this hotel.. just bad experience this time

Clean hotel, a bit far away and communication wasn't awesome. One minor issue but I hope it gets resolved when the event manager is in on Monday. Otherwise very friendly staff.

First Class Service Hotel! You will not be disappointed at this Hotel. From the spotless rooms to the customer service on phone and in person, it was a please to deal with the Abbotsford BW Plus!

Nice roomed, free breakfast was good, but the space was super congested

The rooms were nice & great hotel. Not in a very desirable area. Witnessed drug deals going down in the parking lot right beneath our room wndow.

It's a great location near the highway, closer to most amenities. The staff are friendly, they have great breakfast with a variety of items. It's always fresh, no left overs are served.
The staff tend to go out of their way to help guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. All the rooms are setup nicely with most amenities, you can book a suite or a room with a kitchenette which is great for a large family or someone with kids.
There's a restaurant nearby as well.

Room, pool and hot tub were nice. 'Buffet' breakfast consists of continental breakfast with microwaved eggs. Disappointing. Don't advertise what you don't have. People will catch on. Staff were very nice though.

Good service and location. Rooms are a bit worn and in need of renovations. Some rooms are noisy depending on proximity. However the breakfast included is fantastic for the price.

Friendly staff at the front desk. Room was clean and tidy. The reason for losing two stars is because a cleaning lady chose to ignore the Do not disturb sign on the door and walked in when I was partially clothed. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay.

Great food and service. Waiting for a table to free up can take awhile occasionally but it is bearable.

Have stayed here a couple times. Never dissapoints. The front desk staff are amazing, everything is clean, great breakfast, beds are awesome(I always sleep well here), lots of pillows!!!

Great hotel, friendly service, good breakfast..i had a room which was comfortable and lots of space.
Rickeys restaurant accommodated us above and beyond with our large group, food was great, service exceptional. Our only issue was one of the rooms was facing the hwy, heavy traffic all night...make sure you don't get a room that faces the hwy.
