Quiet and Relaxing atmosphere. Extensive grounds should be explored, especially the ring of trees (to explain would be to give the game away!) Very Good food. Free WI-FI. Good Gym/Spa. Have found rooms in original and new parts of hotel good.

Lovely hotel in beautiful gardens. We have stayed on two occasions and have been really happy with all aspects of our stays. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, our room very comfortable and spacious and a well fitted bath room. We hope to be able to stay in the future.

The hotel and grounds are superb. The food is delicious. The staff are all polite, courteous and eager to assist.
It is a calm, peaceful place.
The Club (spa and pool) is very inviting to either relax in or get your exercise.

Great find, went to Paultons park so wanted somewhere to calm down after all the fun from the day, absolutely to notch, rooms clean and everything worked, staff were always happy to help, menu was great, family friendly the staff always had time to listen to the kids making their order. Breakfast was also a usual selection but better quality than I have had at hotels double the price.

Yes, of course.

Yes, of course.
This was the answer given by staff at the Chilworth Manor Hotel to each of my requests. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate a delicious and ample afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and went to try to walk it off through the fascinating conservation area which adjoins the hotel gardens.

The hotel is a grand building, well maintained, and my room, a superior twin, had a small anteroom with a desk, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and tourist information. The bathroom worked. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought out.

I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

The majority of staff were friendly and inviting, the dinner I would give a 9/10. Waking up I maybe set my expectations a little high for the breakfast as it was disappointing and it was the size of a kids cooked breakfast for 2 adults. Probably would just suggest to go out to a cafe as you would probably get more for your money. The hotel room was beautiful and the views were amazing, would recommend to stay here :)
Also they don t tell you that you have a spare towel in your wardrobe

It's difficult not to be impressed simply by the approach to the manor house through well kept grounds. A friendly welcome at reception then up to an immaculate room which could not be faulted. Any concerns I had from previous experiences staying in old manor houses were banished. It was a beautifully finished room with comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, desk area to work at, quiet, clean, with draught free double glazing and WiFi that worked.
There's a choice for dining, restaurant or bar, fine dining in the former and the latter, which I chose, having a good choice on the menu, comparable to a typical pub, though more expensive. Service was good and the food was great.
A lovely place to stay, I only wish I could've stayed longer.

good appearance hotel but restaurant is a bit dated and lacks ambiance. Food generally good but breakfast dried up under the heat lamps. \just needs some management improvements and upgrading.
Not offered a discount when my room did not have any electric power for TV, table lights or use of tea/coffee making facilities.

Long journey to get here but that was due to bad traffic in southampton which isn't the hotel's fault. Arrived in time for our much needed spa massage which was absolutely excellent. Veisrt lovely evening meal and breakfast included. Room was clean and lovely. And great swimming pool and sauna etc. Beautiful grounds. Really a wonderful stay.

Disappointed tbh. Travelled all the way from Bournemouth for a birthday treat for friend. Staff in hotel bar not very welcoming and I felt when having spa treatment that the person doing treatment not interested as only another Groupon offer. No rapport at all. Receptionist at Club nice though. Also Jacuzzi out of order. No complimentary shampoo even and as a few club members said to me "the club was getting very tired looking". A long journey and not overly impressed. Dead hanging baskets at hotel too. Shame really
