Great beers, great food. You haaaavvve to try the Dixie burger.
Really good food and awesome drinks with very nice and friendly environment.
Relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were good. Had a big choice of beers. Many food options. Their ribeye and lamb chops we're delicious.
Deep beer list of Below the Radar offerings and other rotating taps.
Big portion bar food with standard fare.
Friendly staff.
Avoid the small secondary dining room if you can, it feels pretty isolated.
Good food and drinks, nice atmosphere and music trivia to boot!
Love this place. Have to stop in each trip through Huntsville. Highly recommend the chips and queso.
Food is delicious!! I had the Reuben. The have tons of beer to choose from!!
There was no close parking, the food was mediocre, their beer was not top notch, and they were out of the first 3 "good" beers I ordered. I haven't been back in 3 years, I need to give them a second chance.
Food was excellent, too much food. Server very polite and attentive
Friendly staff and a good selection of beer. What more do you need?
Food was delicious beer was tasty servers top-notch.
Great food, nice atmosphere during the day but TOO DAMNED LOUD when crowded. Need noise dampeners!
Perfect concept. Good food, good people, great service, perfect beer, great memories, and the right price. What else can you say about a about it? If you are in the fence, go right in and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Cheers!
Good food, great service and nice downtown atmosphere.
Food is very good. A little in the high end price wise but super good food! Excellent place to try local microbrewery beer.
Great Brews, Amazing Staff! And Tua, the Golden Retriever Greeting Pup !
Service is often painfully slow, but the food is good and the drink menu is fantastic
Great brunch with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was great and the golden ale was good.
Food was delicious but my server was having a off day and not very good. But wont keep me from coming back and maybe requesting some one else if he is there again. Lol
This place is great! I found out about it the last time I went to Huntsville on business.
The beer is good, but the food is just ok and overpriced.
The service was great. The wait took about 40 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the Portobello mushroom burger with fries and I really loved it. The atmosphere was pretty moderate. I would come back during lunch and/or dinner hour.
Excellent Saturday morning brunch. No frills bar/restaurant sport tavern atmosphere. The folks in the kitchen are the real deal. Menu is full of good choices, and service was good. We'll be back to this place again.
NEVER AGAIN!! Took 2 hours to for dinner. 30 minutes just to order. Almost an hour to get food. Food quality was bad. Ordered a rare burger and it came so done that there was no taste left. Not enough servers. Not enough cooks on duty. I have never had a good experience here. I'm sick of giving my money to a place that doesn't give a damn about me. I'll take my time and money elsewhere.
Wasn't bad, but didn't blow me away with their lunch menu. Had a VERY large beer and alcohol selection though, so if you enjoy that, you'll like it. Food was run of the mill...
Super fun brewpub. Good food and an interesting beer selection. I'm normally a dark beer drinker but have a soft spot in my heart for sours so I got the bartender to set me up with a flight of sours. I've never been anywhere else that had so many sours on tap. Its great that the staff is really knowledgeable about each beer.
Good food and service, and the beers were tasty! This brewery supports other local brewers by selling their beers in addition to BTR offerings. The 4-star rating is only because the was one loud group making the noise level become uncomfortable. Otherwise a good experience and I will revisit next time I'm in Huntsville
Absolutely amazing brunch and mimosas!!! Leslie is a spectacular server and the new manager is stellar! To be a manager and go buss tables was in my opinion what a manager should be. Nothing beneath him! We will be back!
Had dinner here with large group of out of town guests, and it was a disaster. Management decided to put a brand new waiter on table of 20 with separate checks. Took forever to get food and then billing system went down and we were kept for an hour! Came back for brunch, and food was bad- clearly old meat casserole and a tiny cinnamon roll. Plus they got our beer wrong. I want to like them, but after 2 bad experiences I just can't recommend. Go to Straight to Ale instead!
The grilled trout and filet entrees were excellent tonight. We've eaten there dozens of times and are never disappointed.
Very friendly staff and a surprising selection of local beers brewed in store, not to mention a wide array of standard and not so standard pub fare.
My friend and I visit this restaurant every time we visit Huntsville. First time having the fish and chips and they were good. They make their own tartar sauce which was the best I have ever had and the fish is dipped in their beer batter. Yummy! Excellent service by Tristen M. She is very personable and answered any questions we had about the area. Good beer selection and a very comfortable environment. We always come back.
Stopped by Below the Radar while I was in town for a business trip. On a Saturday afternoon around 3PM the tables were mostly empty but there was a decent crowd at the bar. What I loved most about Below the Radar was that they had live music - in the middle of the afternoon - that was good! The two-man duo was taking requests from the crowd but also playing into the calm but fun vibe happening. The second thing I loved was my burger. It was cooked perfectly and topped with fried green tomatoes and cajun goat cheese - hello heaven. Not sure I'll be back in Huntville anytime soon but I'll be recommending this to anyone I know going!
Good food, friendly bartenders, and a nice selection of craft beer. Great location to include on your HSV pub crawl!
Great brunch! Probably one of the best in town. Fast service even on Father's Day. Good beer selection for a Sunday meal. Would eat here again
Love the staff! Love the location! And absolutely enjoy the mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you want a good mimosa, good food ($) this is a nice place..
Excellent for a date or party.
Also....try the Bloody Mary bar.
Their BLT was awesome and so were the homade chips. I also had a honey apple hard cider that I really liked.
One of my favorite places to hang out. The staff is always friendly and get to know you my name. The burgers are delicious and the beer menu is extensive.
Exceptional beer selection and really good food. It definetly isnt your typical bar food menu, it is much better prepared and a big selection of it
Love the staff! Love the location! And absolutely enjoy the mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays.

Great food n service. First time going there n had a lot of fun
Room was a little chilly
We loved this restaurant! My wife got the burger, which she thought was great, and I had the Cuban Panini, which I loved! The fries were hand-cut and delicious. I don t know if they have a certain lunch menu for each day, but I would say it would be good to add a couple more options to the lunch menu.
Went for 50 cent mimosas, which were fantastic. Had to order food to get the deal which makes sense. Food took forever to come to the table and was slightly sub-par. All in all a good experience but I feel like quality and speed of service have dropped over time.
The manager Tabitha was very unprofessional. We came in as a large group without a reservation. We told the server we were on a time crunch so we will only order items that could be prepared quickly. The food took over an hour for fish and chips. The fries were cold. The manager came and instead of being apologetic she put the blame on us for showing up without a reservation. Her tone with us was unacceptable. I've visited this restaurant before but never again unless she is no longer employed here.
Looked to be a pretty cool spot. Was near the concert venue we were headed to do we went. Hostess was super nice and friendly. Our waitress was not as friendly but she got everything we ordered. He filled up fast that night and they appeared to be a little under staffed for the crowd. I can't remember what we ate so I guess it wasn't memorable. I remember the fried cheese something appetizer though it was good. Lots of beer selections! Full bar.
My bartender, Kerri, was pleasant to talk with as usual. She is very knowledgeable of the craft beers on tap, and in passing conversation, seems to know quite a bit about the local business. Attentive, honest, and down to earth, she is one of the reasons that Below the Radar is always a pleasure to visit. I also ate the days lunch special of grilled bacon and cheese on sourdough, with a side of cheese broccoli soup. Soup was outstanding, the sandwich could have used another strip or two of bacon, as the bread kind of overwhelmed the sandwich, but overall, the food was not bad, and at ten dollars, I can't say that it wasn't worth it. If you're in town, this place is a great place to visit for brunch and great beers on tap, with a nice neighborhood bar atmosphere.
I like going here for the atmosphere. They have changed the price of mimosas 3 times in the past couple of months. They were ten cents and then twenty five cents and now they are fifty. Please set a price.
Below The Radar is very delicious, all of the staff is very attentive and friendly. The brunch is to also very delicious, I recommend the Cheesy Hash-Brown Casserole you can t go wrong!
Lots of beers on tap, but the real reason to stop by this place is the food. The fish and chips are spot on, and you can't go wrong with their specials.
Food was great! The spicy ginger tofu bowl. We ordered a flight of beers, hoping to get those before your meal to enjoy but a little disappointed they came out with the meal. The beers were decent!! Check it out!
Outstanding menu....food was well priced for the quality! Happy hour too!
Excellent selection of beers and very knowledgeable staff to really help educate you on the uniqueness of each.
Also some of the best food I've had since visiting Huntsville!
Highly recommend this place and it's even very family friendly.
Beer was really good, we went during lunch not a ton of options around that time. Great atmosphere for being a smaller place
I understand that sometimes a place gets busy and that you might not get the same kind of customer service you would normally get during non-holiday hours but I felt like we were the, "Oh yeah! The table in the back.."
We were a party of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) who got seated with minimal wait (about 15 minutes) and waited on within 5 minutes of being seated. All was going well until our waitress was visibly annoyed with the time we were talking looking at the menu to finalize orders, the horrible tasting water arrived, then the hour wait for food that was mostly meat on bread with no sauce or toppings, no silverware or napkins until we asked for them, and a non attentive waitress.
All wasn't bad though cause the table, silverware, and facility was clean. The meats were cooked well and the beers were good. All positive marks for making a great eatery.
To put it simply, this could be a great place cause the beers are good and the grill person knows what they're doing but it needs big improvements on customer service and knowing how to finish a dish.
Oh yeah, and filter the water please.
Great beer and great food. Slightly pricey food wise.
Great food and friendly people. Will visit again when I'm Huntsville!
Good food and good beer. Was disappointed in beer selection. Lots on the menu but too many very similar beers. Might have been a fluke that day.
Vegetarians actually have a choice of dishes! Brilliant.
We thought it to be kinda overrated. The menu options are limited and the entrees are really pricey for a brewpub for anything other than burgers. Food was decent, but wasn't worth the price for the small portion. Good local brew selection though.
Everything was good. Great selection of beer. Ordered gnocchi and it was not gnocchi, it was pasta
Food was ok Craft beer wasn't for me. Good atmosphere need to work on food and mixed drinks.
A friend and I went for Sunday Brunch. We sat at the bar, and friends trickled in joining us...we ended up with a party of 8 at one point...the whole staff were great, We had the trout and cheezy grits which was perfect, my friend loved the Mimosa special...all and all it was a perfect experience and would recommend their bar and restaurant to anyone from a person new to the area to a family brunch with kids and Grandma after church!
The atmosphere and food are good but the menu has not changed much over the last couple of years. They do have a good selection of beer.
I came for bunch on Sunday. 8$ for a large mimosa. It was great I had the southern style Benedict. It was perfect. Not many options in this city but this one makes up for it.
We visited for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place seemed steadily busy, and the staff kept up with the pace well. We had burgers, which were very good. Tons of beer selections, which seemed popular with many of the patrons. The bartender (I really wish I could recall her name) waited on our table, and was fantastic. She was totally on top of things, and had a great personality. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return and recommend it to others.
Great food great service great atmosphere great location. Sexy gm
Food was good. Great beer selection. Had a new waiter, didn't know all the food or beer very well, but it was fine.
Service was slow even though it was dead so that was disappointing. I loved my food but my husband didn t enjoy his. The bangers and mash were unusual because the potatoes were super tangy (probably made with buttermilk). Their menu is trying really hard to be unique and different which I enjoyed but it doesn t always hit the mark for everyone s palette.
