Me and the son took my babe/ his mom, for Mother's day. Amazing food and service.

Consistently excellent food and attention to detail from table setting to personalizing your meal-live entertainment was the icing on the cake -by the way the carrot cake was yummy

Bella Mia is a wonderful little place for a (really) nice Italian meal! Our server Aldos was on top of every detail and, spot on with his suggestions! Randy the owner, is very good about making sure you have the best possible experience!

Cozy spot that has turned into the "go to" spot for Italian on the South side for my family and friends. Recently had a group of 16 and everyone enjoyed their hefty portion meals but only a couple die- hards found room for desert, the tiramisu and lemon cake was fan-friggin tastic. I had the veal which was exceptional and the service left us wanting for nothing other than help out the door..sooo good. Soooo full :)

Food was Delicious! Good size portions, we all went back home with doggie boxes.
We went on my boyfriends birthday, they gave us ( his age) % off his meal!! So it was really affordable.

We visited Bella Mia -an outstanding Italian restaurant with a large group of family and friends about 4 weeks ago. We ordered a variety of appetizers which were all so fresh and tasty. Our entrees were generous portions of delicious and FRESHLY cooked PASTAS, chicken, beef and seafood. The wait staff was very engaging and attentive to our needs. We would love to give gift certificates to family and friends at the holidays as they all so enjoyed the dining experience at Bella Mia. The younger couples said they d love a night out here-WITHOUT THE KIDS-as they don t rush you and start cleaning up the tables while you re relaxing after eating! If you want a wide variety of AUTHENTIC-HOMEMADE FRESH ITALIAN FOOD in a traditional Italian (yes- table linens!) environment with outstanding service and reasonable prices for the high quality of food, THIS IS THE PLACE! We will definitely be back when we re in Illinois again.

Very good Italian food and the service was excellent that was the first time I went went there for a small wedding party the other day the service suck n they only bought out half of our food 2 of us was not able to eat with the rest of the party I will never forget what they did it up set the wedding couple and all most ruin there day

The carbonara was great stood up to my standards it was a nice place for me and my husband to go out for dinner wine was overpriced but typical for restaurants.

Went with two of my good friends and we had a wonderful time! The decor was beautiful and very welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, from the bread, soup, salad and entrees and Nicholas our server was spectacular, he was so welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable, he really made the whole evening a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back and I will recommend Bella Mia to everyone I know!

Excellent authentic Italian food at it's best served by an amazing waitstaff. They make THE best green beans ever, highly recommended by our waiter.

It was horrible had reservations at 615pm for my mother's 84th birthday did not get seated till 730pm there were catering to the 5 big partys they had that took up most of the restaurant so this party of 5 came in they were there about half hour after us they seated them first instead of us 4 cause she said it's a tabel for 5 I said are u kidding me, my mother was so upset final they wanted us to sit at a tabel that was for 5 people and took it down for 4 people hum! Then they guy that's sings with these big speakers was right there I said u kidding me again we cannot sit here with this guy screaming his songs so we waited again ordered by the way are waitress very nice get are food my lake perch was so fishy it stuck my brother order veal parmigiana and the sauce tasted with the spaghetti like spaghetti o,s.in a can my mom had her sea scallops that tasted very fishy no veggies ate bill was 101.00 dollars never never again krappels here we come so anyone wanting to go there make sure u ask on the big party's and by the way they said they overbook

My first visit here and it s worth every dollar! The menu has so many great meal options for a fair price! Everyone at our table of 5 enjoyed our meals! I had the homemade ravioli, one of the best in the City! The glass of Merlot wine was a true full pour. It s hard to find a True Traditional Italian restaurant with a great sauce and fresh bread, this is your place!
The welcoming entrance went along with its professional service. We will be back!

The food is average at best. This place tries way too hard to be "fine dining" starting with a ridiculous mashed garlic plate for the bread. The wait staff tried to pretend the place is upscale. But it's not. The pasta sauces were bland and the portions were super sized. I'd pay more for less but better quality. The bathrooms were icky. If they got a decent chef that would be a good place to start!

Perfecto!!!! We discovered this hidden gem via GroupOn. We went on a Saturday night and it was a very intimate atmosphere. Meg, our server was a delight. The food was great, its the perfect date night restaurant and there was live entertainment. We will be back.

This was my first but definitely not my last time at this family friendly restaurant. I felt like I was at my grandmas kitchen. The food was delicious and the environment was super friendly. Seemed like everyone knew each other and they definitely made it feel like we were part of their family. The owner, Randy, was gracious and came up by each table to greet the guests and even offered a drink. Loved this place !!!!

I was treated to the scrumptious wine tasting last night for my birthday. All I can say is yum! Every course was pleasing to the eye & palate. The owner & servers couldn't have been any nicer. Bravo ! Your staff made the experience fun, lively, & entertaining.

We live in Arizona but will be back for another wine tasting again.

Beautifully ambience, ftriendly staff, awesome food! The fried calamari was excellent, artichoke appetizer was delicious!

The food is outstanding! Very friendly and attentive staff and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. The entertainment was just the right touch we had no problem hearing each other at dinner.

Impressive!! I am not easy to impress being a server for 30 years. This is the 2nd week in a row I've dined here and everything from the 1st greeting to presentation of check is consistently highest quality, every staff member is professional yet still welcoming and friendly. Highly enjoyable

Not sure what took us so long to go there. Service was over and beyond what was expected. Food was soooooo fabulous. Atmosphere was good and prices are extremely reasonable. Found our new favorite place for a night out.

Went on Valentine's day...place looked great! Owner was running around like a madman because his staff was late for work. Food is okay here (been here before) it's not great! Staff didn't know if they should seat us because we didn't have a reservation, probably do to the frantic nature mentioned above...bartender was late so we couldn't get martinis...settled for a glass of wine...which ended up having bar flies in it!
The shiny star was the bus boy who was attentive and very good at his job...maybe he should be the manager.

Had a great dinner with friends. They had live music Ebony and Ivory that was awesome.

I received a gift card last Christmas for this place and was hesitant because of the location between a grocery store and a bar but we finally went and it was AMAZING The food was outstanding the service was a little lacking but was well worth it. Will be going g back there for sure.

In my opinion way overpriced and the food is not that good.

If you want authentic Italian food, this is the place to go! Their baked clams are phenomenal and so is their appetizer eggplant roll. They also have linguine and clam sauce (I prefer the red)!

A delightful experience as usual. Delicious food, wonderful wait staff, and the wine pairings were delightful although they left out my favorite, a Marcato. But still a great experience. My daughter and friends have been ro these here before, this was my first. Already looking forward to next year.

Food was actually good but wine selection by the glass is very limited. Hostess was going to seat us and then forgot and seated someone else. A few minutes later she realized and seated us. No big deal but she seemed less than enthused about her job. Waitress was nice but some man who was in charge of the bus staff on this Saturday night was openly verbally abusive to the young staff. They could do no right and he didn't care that everyone eating could hear him assaulting the young kids at the next table. Total bully and I could tell this was not an isolated incident. Many other staff could hear but went about their normal duties. At one point the same man scolded me for using the wrong door to head to the bathroom. My waitress had told me to use this door and when I came back he was sitting in front of the glass door and told me to "walk around next time". I'm going to give this place one more chance because the food was good (not great) and they did have live music. I have noticed other review on Yelp stating poor service and booze selection.

There is something for everyone at Bella Mia.

The food is phenomenal, but thats not all. Saturday night live music is a real treat. The portions are quite large - I always have enough for a second meal. The service is great - if my best friend and I decide to stay after dessert to chat, we never feel like a bother and our waters are consistently refilled after we pay our bill. We will keep coming back.

One of the best dinners we have had at a restaurant in quite long time. Delicious food, and an excellent and professional wait staff in mannerisms and personal presentation. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised, glad we went and still enthusiastically talking about Bella Mia the next day.

Me and my girl went for first time last night. Outstanding!! Sat at bar till our table was ready. Very busy. Bartender Christine was awsome. Waitress was awsome. Even the buss boys were awsome.appetizers were awsome. Dinner was awsome. Atmosphere was perfect and the prices were very reasonable. All those drinks and large dinner portions came to under a hundred. Can't wait to come back. Good job Bella mia!!!
