Beef 'O' Brady's Review

This is the place where it all started... the original store in Brandon Florida... service was great...food was great ...had a very friendly atmosphere... I will definitely be back...

6th time here, freezer burnt chicken wings everytime, but their service is always really good.

Server was very friendly and attentive, restuarant was relatively warm which was unusual considering how warm it was outside. My chicken caesar salad was okay the chicken was entirely way to dry and tasted like burnt cardboard and the romaine lettuce looked like it was shredded by Edward's scissorhands, which hey if that's how it comes cool but it sure made it difficult to pick up a forkful of lettuce with out slurping lettuce noodles like a fool. On the other hand my boyfriends food was great and he loved it.

Went at lunch time. Not crazy busy. Chicken sandwich was awesome. Service was spot on. I would definetly go back again. Prices are reasonable for a good filling lunch.

My first visit at this location was today for a take out order. I received a coupon for 5 free bonless wings with any order. My order was easy, 5 bonless wings and a garden salad with balsamic dressing. I arrived at the restaurant and it wasn't very busy. One employee told me my order would be ready in a few minutes and I didn't have to wait very long at all. Another employee brought the food to me, opened the boxes to show me the food, and bagged everything up. Both employees were very friendly and helpful. I went back to the office to eat. The salad was fresh and I liked the big portion. They provided enough salad dressing. The garlic parmesan sauce on the wings was very good. Overall, my experience was excellent and I would return to this restaurant.

This is a Brandon staple and used to be THE place to be for family dining. With the explosion of dining choices in Brandon, it's now little more than a fried food dive. They still have good chicken wings and its OK if you want to watch a game with your buddies pub-style.

Fast, courteous to go service. Quality of food is great.

Salad and chicken quesadilla to go.
The quesadilla was inedible. Overcooked the tortilla so it crumbled when I bit into it. Thw chicken was so chewy I was not even sure it wa chicken. The salad is the star but how can you go wrong with that? The portion is perfect forn2 people or left over for a second meal next day. Ingredients always fresh on their salad.

Love going to Beefs. Great food. Great place for the family. Clean and comfortable. Best wings I've ever had. And the fries! It's good for groups too.

A great little sports bar,atmoshere.Great for a quick bite or to watch your favorite local teams play.You gotta love those wings.

My teenager called and ordered food tonight. My child asked if they were still open and can he place an order. The lady who answered the phone said yes and was very pleasant. She is always pleasant. I have always had a great visit until tonight. I went in to pick up his order and as I was waiting at the table near the bar the cook in the back was upset about something blowing up and then said loudly "if they dont like their order they can come back here and tell me". I voiced how I could hear the person in the back and I would have no problem going back there. The young lady up front told the cook in the back that I could here them. The cook said "I dont care". I was like excuse me. Now that pissed me off. I asked the kind lady who was at the bar bringing the food to bag it "what the person's name was who was speaking disrespectfully" She said the person's name was Frankie. So if you go to this Beef O Brady's to eat just know that "FRANKIE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS OR IF YOU CAN HEAR HOW MUCH THEY DONT CARE! Very disappointing to know this Beef O Brady's has an employee like this working there. Frankie... if you don't like your job, then quit and find something else to do. You definitely need training in Customer Service. Now on a positive note... The bartender and owner are always pleasant. I will never order from this Beef O Brady's as long as Frankie is there. For the price I pay for the food I expect great Customer Service.

Well I ordered 20 hot wings and got 16... what a waste of money...

Consistently good food. Not quite as good of a value as it was years ago but still a great place to watch a game and mow down some wings or a burger.

Great food, decent size portions, nice waitress but it was pretty crowded. Probably best to visit on a non-college football night. Great experience though and cozy feel.

For the most part it was a good day! The waitress was friendly! The reason I didn't give them a five star, is because the order was mixed up! I'm not sure if it was the waitress or cook? My burger was supposed to be all the way with bacon! There was no bacon or tomatoes? My boyfriend's burger was a bacon burger with no tomatoes? His burger had tomatoes? So, it's a good thing he's not allergic to tomatoes or this could have been worst!
Even though there was a mix up, it was good food! Cooked right! The bun had the little crunchy edges! It was presented well!
So I'm not complaining, it just didn't get five stars!

Usually always great service here! The Original does live trivia on Wednesday evenings and it seemed very enjoyable for those participating. Not sure of the exact start time, but guessing 7 pm. Food is always great, just the way Mr Melody would have wanted.

They food was perfectly cooked. There was plenty amount of sauce on the wings, the food came out on time. The staff was very friendly and personable

Great shepherd's pie, except I didn't care for the Guinness gravy...alcohol too strong for my tastes. Boyfriend loved it though. Maybe they should offer regular gravy also, for us with less Irish than others, lolllll. Loved the bread served with it. The chips and queso were on spot too. Servers were very attentive.

It wasn't just the food that made my visit so great, but the people I shared my time with!! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

Went in Friday at 10. Was told the kitchen was closed but the restaurant was open until 11?

The food was mediocre at best. Took my family and no one liked their meals. I had a burger and added bacon. The bacon was inedible and I could only get through half the burger. Service was also mediocre. Its only redeeming quality is that the fries were good. Will not be back.

I don't often leave bad reviews, I think this is my second one ever. We went to Beef O Brady's for dinner tonight..... what a mistake! There was maybe 3 other tables besides ours. The waitress Erin sucked, damn near threw the moz sticks on the table like you toss a frisby so she could hurry up to the other table and sat down to calmly take 10 minutes to take their order. The wings were blehhhh, had no color, oh wait yes they did they were orange from the sauce ... the skin was soggy in a lake of sauce. The mashed potatoes had dried crusty spots, wasn't put under a broiler mind you I mean come on!! How do you mess up instant pearl mashed potatoes?? The Ribs were good but they weren't cooked in house so how can I really give them credit for being smart enough to open a plastic pouch and nuke a half rack of ribs!! I had one chicken wing the rest I brought home to cook them more for lunch tomorrow. My boyfriend almost always tips generously sometimes about half of what our total bill is, this girl wasn't even worth the 15% we left!!

Last night we went to Kobe sat at an hibachi table with 5 children and 3 adults that weren't with us and had a much better experience than we did tonight and the food was awesome!!!!

Good place to watch a game. They'll give you a small beer for free when the Tampa Bay Lightning score their 1st goal of the night. Food is average for a sports bar, but wait staff is attentive and very friendly. You won't have to ask for another beer, they'll be asking you!

Regular Saturday Server / Bartender "Michelle" is always friendly and glowing, consistitnely great food, service and a warm atmosphere.

First time going to the original place. Food and service was awesome. Definitely coming neck during the week for the daily specials.

I visited this location with a group of friends & was sat at a center table. the walkway behind the chairs was tight & the setup was strange- but I attribute this to the building they chose, which was not suited for a restaurant. The waitresses were upbeat and kind, and every interaction with them was pleasant. The food & drink were good (nothing to call home about, but I wouldn't say no to those cheese planks.) Our waitress went of her way to find a particular channel on one of the TVs (and when it wasn't to be found, was apologetic about it even if it wasn't in her control).
Overall, my friends & I had a nice time and felt very welcome! Nice staff, good food, but the location has much to be desired.

Very good food, but locations may be dirty at times, and depending on the place you go to, service, including waitresses may be bad and rude.

Went for Wednesday Nite Wings. When I received the check one order of wings were at discounted price and all others were at normal price. This same problem with customers in the booth in front of us and the table beside us. The gentleman at the table beside us also mentioned this happened at his previous visit.

Ok for pitcher of beer .Didnt like when i here ower is sick as i was eating. Chicken fitja was very good .bartender not very nice.

I wish I had something good to say about my visit... 20 medium wings burned to a crisp (not like beefs). And a separate order with 2 steak burritos that we waited 30 mins for. Come to find out the second order never made it to the kitchen. When we finally got the burritos they were just slapped together and inedible. I asked to speak to a manager but it was busy and we got tired of waiting. You let me down beefs.

Just as I remember it when I lived in tampa. Great wings, great burger, good tea and good times.

Flagship store still rocks after all these years! Parking is awful for that plaza but not their fault!!!

My family came in late (15 till close) and didn't realize it until our order was placed. We forgot to spring forward an hour. But our waitress was so nice she didn't even mention it, she was very sweet and made sure we didn't feel bad after we realized. And the food was great! I highly recommend this Beef's!

If I could give it negative stars I would... we went for lunch today mind you it wasn t busy at all however we waited 10 minutes for our waitress to come over and take our drink orders then placed our orders which were a Cuban which was cold with soggy curly fries and my father had a philly cheese steak whicwas a poor excuse for a cheese steak with cold fries as well I will definitely not be coming back the old beefs was way better.

Always friendly, yummy wings. Ask for Mandy, she's the best!
