The Birthplace of Beef's!

Walking into this Beef's recently with a group of my best friends brought back a LOT of memories!
Memories of walking into the ONLY Beef 'O' Brady's in existence and being greeted by its founder, Mister Jim 'Beef 'O' Brady's' Mellody!
Those were some wonderfully wild days of wingin' it!

It was especially heartwarming as we entered, to see a large portrait of Jim Mellody on the wall just inside the door.
I looked up at that picture and commented "Well Hello, Jim!", followed by hearing a voice asking "Did you know my father?".
As I turned my head, we were greeted by a young man who introduced himself as Sean Mellody, saying "He's my dad!". THAT was really cool!
All of us had personal remembrances of Beef's creator that we briefly shared with son, Sean. Awesome stuff!

Of course, most of us ordered Traditional WINGS with Beef's Signature Buffalo sauce. I ordered mine as I always have, just a bit crispy with a side of Ranch!
What I got was EXACTLY what I remember getting on that very first way-back-when Beef's visit. That was some of the best two-handed chicken wing saucy gnawing ever! As I looked around our table all I saw was happy campers with 3-year old messy faces! YES!

My fine group did order something that wasn't offered back in 1985.
Fried Pickles.
Man! If we'd had those back then along with the wings, Mr Mellody would have renamed the place Beef OHHHHHHHH Brady's!!

Ha Ha!

Sometimes Nostalgia plays a dirty trick on us.
That saying, 'You can't go back home', comes to mind.
But, as we were breathing in this original Beef's atmosphere, remembering the tables are a little crowded, and reliving bulky tube TV's blaring ballgame cheers, all things became clear.
This little cradle of Beef's infancy still brings comfort and comfort food to Beef's alumni, old and new....

The steak Quesada was too salty! The chicken fingers over cooked and a terrible place to take kids. A bust for our family.

It's pretty average food the service is pretty good

This is one of the 1st in this sports bar chain. I used to live right by it and some year (cant quite remember) it got so cold over xmas that the power was out EVERYWHERE. We couldn't cook our turkey so we drove around and this joint was the ONLY place we could find open and with power turned on. Chicken wings & beer for Xmas dinner I loved it LOL.- specially since my EX didn't want me drinking well NO excuse here for teetotaling.

Kings Ave in Brandon is best location. Great food, great staff... Highly recommend

The food was great and so we're the Sangria's. Our waitress Keri was awesome !!

Had the Prime Rib sandwich and, it was Fantastic. The Service was on point which is very important. Great job Beefs

The jawbreaker machine didn't taste very good and they even gave me my money back for it.And got refills on my drink.

Service was great but it was to crowded for big party's we had 14people in our party and we had no room to move around but the wings were delicious so it all paid off!

Love the roast beef garlic melt service was great. It is not handicap accessible. Can't get walker through room . Bathroom not set up for handicap accessible.

Went for dinner for Mothers Day. Food was delicious and service was fast and prompt.

One of the older ones, but very clean, the staff has been together for a long time, they are all great, perfect place to watch a ball game

The food served was very tasty an ambiance was great too. I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this place to someone looking for a great time.

The steak in the fajitas i had were awful; they tasted like they were spoiled and overcooked. I will never go here or any other BoB again.

Went to watch the lightning game and eat wings but Thursday night is shepherd's pie special and it was amazing

The OG location of Beef O Bradys. Staff is always nice and treats you like family, whether it's your first time or you are a regular. Food is always good and they get it to you quickly.

The service was good and the food was as expected for a pub like experience.

The owner give me a major hassle and even called the police on me for them messing up on my orders. Total scum bag and will never go back! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Really blown away. Ordered off the uber eats app. Paid nearly 80.00 dollars for 4 sub par dinners and charge a service fee on Jan 31 2020. Fish and chips was more like fish sticks not to mention there was only 10 or so fries then there was no dressings on the so called signature burgers I am so disappointed. Will never order from here again. I was really excited to try such an iconic place in my area. Will not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could leave no stars

The Original Beefs is a family tradition! It feels like home.

I stopped for a beer and saw 2 roaches crawling around the bar area. The picture shown is of the garbage by the back of the bar, and that roach walked all over everything, including glassware. So glad I wasn't hungry, and drank from the bottle...

Love Beef's!!! Hot sauce on wings is the best!!! No up charge on flats only...

Pretty sure our server was trained to be the worst one I have ever had. Blatantly rude. Took 30 minutes to take my order and then when a guest asked for their check, I overheard her bad mouthing the customer to another table. Beef o Brady's, hire new employees. She's making y'all look terrible

Just gotta rate this high because it's the original. Take it off my unimpressive bucket list.

I love the food and customer service is 5 out of 5.

This is the original Beef o' Bradys,,,the one that started it all. The menu is large with a good selection. Food is good and flavorful. Of course they are known for the " wings" which has a variety of sauces, bone in or boneless. Either way it's satisfying.
Service is pleasant and attentive.
My only down side is the parking. As I said they are original so back in '86 the area wasn't as large and busy as it is now. Just go early...

Good food. The only bad thing is the parking lot is small. Needs to be in a different area.

A fun, friendly, family oriented atmosphere. The food is awesome. From Burgers to wings, blackened shrimp, or a salad, you can't go wrong. Kitchen staff was spot on with hitting the mark on special requests. Our server was a kind, sweet, professional and informative young lady. From greeting customers with a smile, checking in often to getting the food out fast. Overall great experience. Ask for Charity, or Izzy, you won't be disappointed.
