Took admission in 2017 for media science...and made the worst decision ever. Worthless college no placements and internships for media students like us. Fake promises made during the time of admission but after that we found its not a college but a fraud bank looting in the name of education. Worst behaviour of the people taking examination fee of us. Exam cell not cooperative only fake words they speak. Students gets backlog in a very unusual way. No guarantee of examination marks...failing in an unusual way.

Its a request to all the people don't take admission in this college specially in MEDIA SCEICNE and don't ruin your life. Don't spoil your father's money by taking admission in media science in this college. Rather go for other colleges.

my experience in NSHM is very very worst and that still putting me in trouble!!!! i have completed my bachelor in year 2013 but still couldn't get my transcript and university degree and it's not me only my entire class mate is facing same problem.... on top of that i never found NSHM being supportive to student ... they are more oriented to money making business then real education and supporting the issue of student... so i would like to grade NSHM with zero star ( it is mandatory to give star so i am hitting 1 star).....

Admission cost is very high also there is no playground for sports. The food that is served inside canteen is very bad. But the teachers are good.

It is a technical institute located in Tollygangue, famous for it's Management .

The invigilators are quite helpful but the traffic around this place is not so much good. I went here to give an exam and I realised that the punctuality of the invigilators is very bad. But overall it is OK.

Brilliant Campus and Good Infrastructure. But that is all useless as the student crowd and faculty is way below par. Not worth it. Government Colleges under University of Calcutta are better if you want to gain knowledge and learn.

campus is nice. Almost all the modern facility's are available. Department of Pharmacy is good. Over all a good technological institute.

2) CAME TO THE COLLEGE, AND INSPIRED TO SEE THE FAKE INFRASTRUCTURE..

BEST BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT.
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MANAGEMENT COLLAGE OF KOLKATA. FACULTY ARE TOO SUPPORTIVE AND PLACEMENTS IS TOO GOOD.

NSHM campus is a lively place to enjoy fun. I had gone there for appearing in a competitive examination.

The college campus was very nice staff were nice and well behaved had a good time visiting the place

do they really teach foreign languages under the BBA course??
And how's the hostel like?

Worst college specially faculty members are very rude

This is a very good college for management students and also it has decent placement in companies. There are lots of opportunities given to choose from! Only one thing negative is there that they make false promise about the facilities provided in college !!
For example: During admission they promised that there is AC in all the classrooms but there was no AC in any of the classrooms!

Nshm is waste of money.one of the big mistake of my life.i just wasted my 300000 rupee.i had taken a education loan for my course.i passed with very good marks.still nshm were mo able to provide us a single placement.i will request every one that please do not take admission on nshm.u will get batter college with tha tha same fee structure.

I got into Bpharm course and successfully completed it with a decent marks and even got placed. They conduct very good placement for the marketing sector and there are few teachers who step out of their comfort zone to help you out. Attendance is very very strict but maximum learning is there. Few teachers however should be replaced and sick leaves which are serious should be granted. That's all I guess! Opportunities are high if one gets in this college.

My experience in MBA is totally worst.
Its my worst decision in my life.
Most negative personality type professors are here.
Quality of teaching is very poor.
Stay safe from pudi & lalima maam most worst,rude, behaviour ever.
Their knowledge is also average.
From outside you feel its a best college but from inside its a worst college in west bengal.
Stay away from fake type college ..
Mostly the quality of education is very poor.

Amazing college I was very skeptic about the college in beginning but it turned out to be one of the best places a student can ask for, amazing faculty and a good motivational environment!

It's a average college i will not recommend for technical branch other branch is quite good. It's your choice to select this college.

NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata - doesn't leave any stone unturned in order to groom the students and get them industry-ready. I got two job offers from ICICI Prudential & Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd after completing BBA(H) through placement assistance. Everything is good except the faculties who can be a bit rude sometimes.

NHSM soled out prospectus at 500rs after speaking to the counsellers and the counseller was nice as it wont force you to join them.Campus looked quite small though.I would say Its 50-50% good nor bad and depends on students to find more into detail about it.

I have worked here for some time about eight years back. But I think that despite having best facilities it has not progressed from old mind set. The problem with this kind of education institutions are same with other similar institutions. At the time of admission proper evaluation of students are not done as to their inclination, ability and background. I have often come across past students who have nothing good to say about their student days at NSHM. Nevertheless teachers are good. What they need is to introspect as to why students are not happy and take corrective action.

the college faculty especially in management course.they insult,and abuse students like anything!!

Worst college ever they only want money from you I am an ex student of this institute worst teachers expect few specially the teachers of those new courses they have launched. Because of one of the teacher I had a pay money nearly 1k for a conference only only me many others as well even after being out of WB for internships. Basically we paid but couldn't attend it because they said if we don't pay we won't be able to give practical exam.
These are just few incidents had seen a lot of stuffs worst college.

Thanks to @FCCI @GoogleIndia for organizing #DIGITALUNLOCK Offline Program. But the Venue is not good for this kind of Events like Location or communication is not good, FOOD is not even Standard but they serve it, it was too bad in Taste and Quality.

I am doing BFSI from NSHM under PMKVY scheme .it is good for all there are good teachers in NSHM i am satisfy by NSHM SKILLS

It's good college in Kolkata fee little high, faculty is also good, placement is not good for UG course, i thank only 30% UG student get job from college...for MBA very good in Kolkata, i think 70% get placed avg 4L, canteen very nice, play ground is small, lab and libraries is good... Media science course is very good.

Very nice campus, building is nice & well decorated. I went to gave exam of IAF today.

It's I media collage, near Tollygaung, under MAKAUT, formarly West Bengal university of technology, got all the facilities, good faculties, and good environment to learn. Students are also good and basically from West Bengal only. More or less a descent media collage of Kolkata.

It's OK. But I personally feel that the college should be little more strict! Considering the students of this college I feel like they are complete desperate! And regarding faculty, extremely good. Don't know about placements. But the college should control these students. Atleast this is not a night club or a bar or a hotel room to get laid! Grow up men & women!!

I was a student in this college ,did my bachelor's in pharmacy , one word to describe my experience in ""excellent". If i consider studies the faculty is very caring and helpful. Extracurriculars were our middle name but i must say yet no one in our batch is sitting home doing nothing or is jobless . Management can be a bit tricky but be sure to overlook it ."ups" and " downs" are an integral part of an experience the" ups" give u the feeling of pride the "downs" give you confidence and eagerness to learn.all in all its a perfect package or is it....

This is not the nshm campus. It is further ahead along the road.

I have had a good time with students of durgapur campus (2002-06) and kolkata campus since 2006 till date . Students who were say even little serious with minding their business here are today doing wonderfully well. See, a 'different' college unlike a school will be less on policing or 'strict' on compliances rather it will be more on intuitive freedom to (cognitively) manifest...irrespective of the course of study. Yes, my students also get placement that is higher than the regional median. But, most importanty, they must graduate to create some positive impact...sooner or later. How? Well, I can only say nshm is a 'different' experience. And, not to mention the 3 stars rating has to be the minimum with nshm.

Campus is old and monotonous. Biggest drawback is No Parking Facility or area.

Well received by the staff and pretty comfy atmosphere overall.

Very bad college...Students are going there to buy degree not to earn degree.And when u will go to take admission they will treat u like a customer not like a student..Both teachers and students are smoking and having fun outside the college gate..It seems like u are in a pub not in an educational institute...One class in a week..Behaviour of teachers is not so good...sometimes rude and they will demotivate you....Telling go and join street club...better for u future...Full profit making organisation..The college environment is very bad...

Awesome place to start educational career. Like this place. I am one of the fortunate student of this institute.

This is mainly applicable for people appearing for the TOEFL exam at this centre. This place is not located on the main road and is better to reach by cab.
The waiting area for outside people is not proper. When I appeared for the exam there was some confusion regrading the admit card but it was ultimately attended to. The toilets were not well maintained. However the staff was quite friendly and cooperative.
However I do feel that the exam can be conducted at much better centres than this in a place like kolkata.

Very bad environment ....if you want to waste your money then go ahead and take admission..if you don't then please search for another college outside west Bengal.....I am a student of this college...
Outside the college all students were smoking even the teachers also...

The college is awesome has best in class placement in East India. The UG courses attract placements from companies like ICICI Pru, Wipro, Godrej & Boyce and also startups alike. Although, the course fees are the highest but on the other hand salary packages are industry leading.

Just Cuz of some classmates I had, who are one of my favorite guys even after when I have graduated, still in contact.

The MBA department of this college is totally stupid.
Placement is third class.
Pros:
1)Infrastructure is overall ok
2)Location is in the heart of tollygunge.
3)AC classroom

Cons:
1)Behaviour of professors are very rude & disrespectful (Specially Lalima & Pudi maam)
2)They interferes in our personal life.
3)There dont even know how to teach students.
4)This college invest loads and loads of money in advertisement rather than placement.
My opinion:
If you want to waste your career and parents hard earn money then you should take admission here.

This is the best Pharmaceutical college every student wants to have.The fees are in par with every other colleges. It has a great atmosphere for learning innovative things with best in class faculty. The teacher student ratio is also great. Placements here are the best in any other colleges in East India.

I went to this place to write an entrance exam, for an University. The place is at an odd location, from Tollygunge phari direct autos aren't available to this place. One needs to change two autos to reach here. The staffs were extremely helpful. There was scanning, temperature check as it's Covid-19 period. A lady invigilator was very kind, friendly and helpful. There are many buildings inside the complex, am not sure but I had to turn right after entering the premise, there was a building. I was allotted a hall, at the 6th floor. Overall, good arrangements. I am the student of nshm ( Animation)....my course fee is 4.7 lacks after 2 months they asking for money every week I go they collecting money if your course fee war 4.7 lacks then they take 6 lacks from you ...

It is really good college fantastic friendly behavior teachers are great
