Not too pushy, but my salesperson had very little knowledge. He tried to sell the extended warranty, but when asked if there was a brochure I could take, his response was "I am the brochure." Total fail and a huge red flag. He was able to eventually provide some paperwork, but it was a slimy process. I enquired about the new unibody Ridgeline, but the salesperson looked at me like I was a alien. It was pretty clear that he was OK at selling, but fell behind when it came to the hard questions.

Well, this place is certainly quick to take your money if you're buying a car, but if you try to take advantage of their 5 day guarantee thing and return your car, prepare to wait.

My 2015 CRV was vibrating due to a crappy transmission that is apparently a known issue. So I decided to return my car, and when I did I had to sign a rescission contract then come back the next day for the check. Fine. But when I came back the next day for the check, I was given some stupid line about the boss being out for her birthday, so nobody was there to sign my check, therefore I have to wait an additional day to get my money back. Which was interesting since I'd called and spoken to the finance manager earlier in the day, and she never mentioned this to me. Must have been a surprise party? It's not as though I live in Beaverton and it's easy and quick for me to get to the dealership, so having to go back there 3 days in a row is frustrating to say the least.

Oh and this was golden. When i was visibly upset about this runaround the finance "manager" told me "yea, unbuying a car is almost harder than buying a car." Yep sure is, and getting me to ever stepping foot in your dealership again to buy a car will be even harder.

It takes a ton to get me to post a review, especially a negative one but Beaverton Honda absolutely deserves this review. I purchased a car on December 12, and though they didn t have the best prices in town, they seemed like they had my interests in mind. I was dead wrong. I strongly feel Sales Manager Freddie Ortiz is untruthful. By far the most unfriendly, condescending, pushy, and unhelpful salesman I ve ever come into contact with. The entire experience felt rushed, and I felt like i was being talked down to by Freddie the entire time, likely because I m 23 and he felt I couldnt afford the car. So I paid 5 grand down and all was thought to be good I was given the keys and left the lot all papers signed and good to go. Three days later i get a call from the sales assistant at work saying now i must provide pay stubs, and my business financials for the past 6 months ASAP. This was not disclosed on purchase and i was already approved for financing and put money down and was told the deal is completes. Second issue. I bought the car on December 12th, they didnt even put my licensing request in until January 9th. Ive already paid my first payment and they cant even tell me when I ll get my plates and told me to ride with my dealer plates for up to 3 months. Ive called about the issue and tried to see what the hold up was mutiple times. Every time im deflective or Freddie gets combatitive with me and pushes me off the phone. Then elevating the call to Linda she literally told us, I cant leave for a day and have something not go wrong on your purchase and you call about it and told us to stop calling because she wouldnt do anything for us. Im sorry I spent 25 grand on a new car, figured you could at least be in the office a few days a week to take my call, or return my call like ive requested, but no youre almost never there when i call and get to deal with a sales managers run around. Still havent gotten my plates and they say it could be another month until i do, theyve told me at least 4 different things and even that they submitted it on December 23rd, which was an outright lie. Stay away from Beaverton Honda. They do not give a damn about you as a customer and once they have your money youre nothing to them. Seriously do yourself a favor and just drive to Gresham Honda where they actually want your business. Will not return again and urge you to do the same.

Purchased a Honda 2.3 hp outboard motor to replace a 35 year old 2hp motor for my new Klamath boat for trolling. Used it for 20 minutes and realized it was the wrong motor for my boat, it was louder than my old motor and had less thrust. Went back to Bob Lanphere's explained it was not the right motor and wanted to exchange it for a 5hp. Was willing to pay a restock fee. They begrudgingly offered me 60% of what I paid. (Will sell it on Craig's list for a $100 discount). Don't do business with this dealership. They clearly don't give a S about doing right by the customer.

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Dave and Manny and they took care of me. They gave me a competitive offer on my trade-in and a wonderful price on the new vehicle. I really don t think any other dealership at least within 100 miles could beat the car they had for sale. And it was certified preowned! I am really happy with the entire process and the best part about it is that it didn t feel like the normal used car process.

This is probably the best dealership that I've ever been to in my life and I'm almost 50 years old. I almost thought they were faking they were so nice and polite- and it's not just one person- they're all nice and they always ask if they can help you, they're always happy..... I am suuuuuuuper impressed. I purchased a car 2 years ago from McCords Vancouver Toyota in Vancouver, WA. and during the buying process, they were amazing. After I was under contract, their attitudes changed significantly to the point to where, I KNEW I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN... They weren't patient anymore. If I had an issue, I felt like I was an aggravation to them. They caused a damage to my car and then refused to take care of it. It became a pain and even if there was an issue with my car, I wouldn't take it in. But now, I have a new car and a new attitude! I love this dealership and the employees and if you want an extremely positive experience for the long run, come here, come here! You won't regret it!

We have been searching for a car for about a month now and have had horrible experiences with past dealerships. We came across a vehicle online that we both fell in love with. The next day we worked with Elmo And purchased that vehicle. He was AMAZING! We felt no pressure at anytime. He was 100% honest with us about services, warranties, etc.. and his personality was awesome! By far the best car shopping experience we have ever had! Melvin is hands down the best person I ve ever worked with to purchase a car! The experience was exactly the way a car buying experience should be. No pressure and complete transparency. Melvin spent time going over features of the car, taking me on a good test drive and above all, treated me with kindness through the sales process. I went in with the numbers I expected and they met me pretty closely. It was the most fun I ve ever had purchasing a new car. I love my new CR-V from Beaverton Honda!

Great buying experience at Beaverton Honda

We visited the other nearby Honda dealerships and Beaverton Honda was the best. The pricing at Beaverton was fair, consistent and easy to understand. The employees were professional, considerate and helpful.

On our first visit, Juan greeted and showed us some cars and we went on a test drive. He answered all our questions, was knowledgable and helpful. We never felt pressured or rushed.

We liked the car, but needed some time to consider all our options. When we returned, Juan had the day off and JC stepped in. JC was fantastic to work with. He addressed all our concerns, treated us with respect and listened to what we wanted. The car buying paperwork details were clearly explained and processed quickly.

This was the best car buying experience we've ever had.

By far and away the most relaxed, no-pressure experience. VERY professional environment filled with personable people. No other lot I've ever been to can compare with what I experienced here. I felt like everyone really listened to what I needed in a car and did their best to find me THAT vehicle rather than just any vehicle. It was refreshing to see how thorough and honest everyone was. From the CarFax and Point by Point inspection report readily available in every vehicle to the fact the all the vehicles were in line with KBB value. Would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you to everyone who made this such a pleasant and pain-free experience.

Where to start.... I was greeted by Mike McIntosh. He knew his product and was overall nice but when I said if I buy today will you buy me dinner. He says I appreciate that gesture but I can't do that. IT'S A JOKE YOU WANNA BE CHANNING TATTUM ! The experience was awkward after that and I ended up leaving so an average score for this dealership. I understand being professional but he made me feel like he should be teaching a children's youth group.

Wonderful personality and so clear on everything being done. The waiting area was very comfortable with food and drink available, a media lounge and a fireplace! What a frustrating round robin waste of time, work...

What a frustrating round robin waste of time, worked with 2 people on the phone, then met someone new on the lot on Sunday. Got everything quoted ahead since my husband and I have 2 under 2. Turns out they didn't have the car in stock any longer-sold yesterday but I wasn't informed of that when I made the inquiry this morning for a pick up on Friday. Then they low balled the trade in value, citing a one way price approach and adding in fees to take off the lowest end of the KBB, then labeling it as excellent pricing. All dealer KBB sheets are really a joke.

When I explained how cumbersome the whole 6 hour ordeal was when they could have been honest about the trade in from the beginning, they dismissed me and said that it's important to give the vin number for an exact quote! I heard this was a good dealer to work with, that may be true for new pricing but they get you on trade in value! Was so ready for our first no hassle car buying experience- too good to be true for sure!!

Before going to Bob Lanphere Honda we visited dealerships in Wilsonville and Salem and were about to give up on car shopping all together because of the typical dreadful sales tactics. We decided to give it one more shot and headed to Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda and connected with Robert Soto who took his time and test drove several cars with us (Poor Him). Once we decided which car we wanted Robert Soto finished the process, no haggling, no meeting up with a manager to negotiate prices or down payments. We began the paperwork process and they clean up the rig to go. Robert took his time to explained all the cool features and off we went within 1 1/2 hours of starting the process. This place knows how to sell cars and keep your sanity while going through the process(Plus they have good treats).

I appreciate the no haggle pricing. The salesmen tell you up front that the cars are priced as low as they can go so there is no need for the back and forth dance that usually happens at dealerships. The same is true for the trade in value. Whatever Kelly Blue Book says your car is worth, that is what they will give you. I also appreciate the customer service. From start to finish the salesman I worked with, David Moreno, took great care of me and made the transaction go as quickly as possible. All of my paperwork is loaded on a jump drive, so that made things even easier to bring home and file. Thank you Beaverton Honda, I love my car and will come back when it's time to buy again!

The staffs are friendly. However, the service quality is not very good. I had three different experience. First one, I went there to do body detail because of the water spot issue. The staff did terrible works. I can see the paint shows light circle scratch under the sun. I had to ask them to redo the work. The second one, I went there to do the oil change. The staff stepped out of the car before the car went into the auto car wash tunnel. The automatic wiper turned on during the car wash and broken. They did give me a pair of new OEM windshield wipers. The third time, this happened recently. I went there for the oil change. They recommended an alignment work. I don t mind spending more money on the services they recommend. But it feels very bad after you pay for more money and the car runs worse after the service. The car kept pulling to the right after they did the alignment. I had to drive back. The manager did a test drive and mentioned the problem is because of the tires. The situation got better after they rotated the tires. I still feel the steering wheel always turns to the right a little bit. My recommendation, go there for the OEM services, find somewhere else for the add-on works, like alignment, body details, etc.

My family purchased a new Pilot from Beaverton Honda at the end of 2014. Our experience started when I made a few phone calls to the dealership to inquire about inventory, specs and prices. The lady who answered the phone (I think it was Megan...I hope, if not, sorry to the Angelic phone lady). We were given straight, clear answers with no pressure. I fully expected some run-around as you might expect shopping for a new car, but I genuinely thought she cared about this huge purchase of ours and enjoyed her job. Honestly, it's one of the main reasons why we drove all the way from Salem to check out the vehicles.

When we arrived, the place was absolutely beautiful, spotless clean and they even had complimentary water, soda and ice cream...what! Yes, friggin ice cream! Brilliant! We met our sales lady, Emily, and quickly determined she was the ancestor of the Virgin Mary. Emily was very knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, genuinely interested in what we needed, not what she wanted to sell. Honestly, it was such a fun experience (I know, hard to believe buying a car could be fun) that towards the end, I really didn't care what the car cost. A Honda Pilot is the same in Beaverton as it is in Tokyo, but it's the experience of being at a special place and with a special person that made all the difference.

When I buy a Honda again, I will make it my mission in life to buy one from Beaverton Honda. We loved Emily so much, that we named our new 2015 Honda Pilot Touring........"Emily"

I went in to check out a 06 civic EX and the car was nice but it had a check engine light and when I would ask for the code they hesitated to tell us but they did take it into their shop to "fix" it so we came back a few days later to find they just erased the code so that the check engine light would go away but after a test drive it came on again. Also when we asked to speak with someone from the service department they brought me Freddy Ortega who claimed to work in the service department but on our second visit we found out he was a sales manager.

In all, they wasted my time and lied plenty of time to try to sell me the car. Definitely not a trust worthy place to buy a car so I'll take my bussiness elsewhere.

I shop for my dealership as carefully as I research my car purchases. The relationship with the dealer is more than the sale. It's fundamental to a good car buying experience.

Beaverton Honda has a very good reputation for not only sales, but service after the sale. If this turns out to be true (This is my first Honda. I'm a lifelong GM customer, but they couldn't compete with the amenities and price this time), then buying my 2018 CRV-EX-L will be a perfect experience. From my dealings with Jeremy online, to the professionalism and knowledge of Kyle my salesman, to the the speed and completeness of the paperwork from Linda in the finance department, every step exceeded my expectations.

Thanks for treating me like family even though we just met.

I was searching for a car on the internet and then got multiple calls from Beaverton Honda to come in for a test drive. I finally decided to go ahead and do that. The young man who took me for test drives was very nice. I looked at three cars. I wanted prices on the three cars and what payments might be. I was kept waiting for a long time and told it was because they were doing offers for all three cars. Fine. Then Kelly approached me, took out a piece of scratch paper, wrote down what the three prices would be and then left. I thought this was very unprofessional. I mean - I'm thinking of buying a $19,000 car and I get the offer on a piece of scratch paper. Their price was $19,259. I found the same car for $17,555 at Town and Country Honda. I went there the next day and bought the car. Simple, painless process.
I have also had difficulty with Beaverton Honda's service department. They said they fixed the problem, but did not and I had to take the car back. This has happened more than once. I will not use them again.

Vehicle we were dealing on was sold while completing our deal. Spent 3 1/2 hours waiting to complete paperwork on replacement. Replacement delivery requested 12/3 and agreed it would happen. No call/no word on 12/3 so we called in. Delivery will not be today and no new ETA provided. Unacceptable.

I can t comment on the car buying experience here....

I can t comment on the car buying experience here. This review is for their service department. I brought my Honda Fit in because the fan (for the vent and AC air stopped working) they gave me a quote of $850 to repair. Luckily, they didn t have the part so that gave me time to go to a mechanic for a second opinion. Sure enough, the mechanic diagnosed the problem to be exactly the same as the dealer had but the repair was only $350, that s $500 less than the dealer!!! Beware! The dealer up charge is a very real thing, someone has to pay for that fancy new waiting room and new car wash they recently added. If your vehicle isn t under warranty find a reputable mechanic and go there.

Another example: last year I had to replace my windshield and while I was getting my vehicle serviced (routine maintenance) I asked them for a quote on a new windshield and it was $1000! I got it done by a mobile windshield service company for less than $250. See a pattern here?

I ve had a couple other not so good or questioning moments at their service department but honestly this is already taken too much of my time. Just giving a heads-up, definitely get a second opinion before just going ahead with any mechanical repair if your questioning the cost. I bet you save money. You re welcome.

Jr. Was knowledgable, professional, courteous, pleasant and most importantly honest and transparent. My wife and I felt great abou the whole experience and really felt that we would definitely come back and ask specifically for JR. He made us feel like family, and we really knew he was giving us a fair and honest deal. Kudos for an excellent job!
Additionally, it is very refreshing to see an auto dealership that takes an approach that all for great people like JR to deal with customers in a very personal way. Bought a used car from them a few days ago, deal went well and the car is great. I negotiated an oil change in the deal before leaving(which i had to argue heavily for). Checking the oil 2 days later it looked fairly used and not what im used to seeing from previous oil changes at this dealer. Called the service department for my last confirmed service and they had no record of it. The salesman even handed me a mileage sticker. Did they even change the oil? I have lost all confidence in their service department an surely will not be back. I have been a service technician for many years and this is a complete disappointment. Went to another honda dealer for second opinion and explained my situation, they too did not believe the oil was new either. They even offered a free oil change when I return.

The salesperson was really nice, especially to my teen, whom the car was for. The waiting area is quite pleasant, with free snacks and everyone is friendly that interfaces with the public. We had bought a new car there five years earlier with a good experience.

However, they wanted a grand over Kelly Blue Book. I tried to meet them half way, and offered $500 over KBB, mainly because my sweet adored beyond belief girl was with me, and hoping for the car, and I didn't want to disappoint her. My offer was only $500-600 less than asking price. It was flatly rejected by a manager that did not come and talk to us. They made me feel like because if was an in demand car with relatively low miles, we wouldn't do any better elsewhere. The very next day, a competitor proved them wrong, and we are getting what we want for the price we want.

Everything upfront is beautiful and welcoming!!!!! Behind the scenes, it seemed to be a different story.

Honda has been my family's preferred car for two generations now. Being from India, buying a new car carries a lot of pressure and hectic bargaining. Bob Lanphere's Honda was simply one of the best professionally run dealership I have ever done business with.

I had been researching for a 2012 Honda Accord for sometime and was in touch with Chris from the online sales team at Beaverton Honda. Chris and Ragen who is the business development manager went out of there way to send constant emails informing me of the best rates and inventory available.

Myke and Andrew were the sales people who attended me at the dealership while I was deciding on my Honda Accord. They were extremely helpful and friendly which was great. Ben was the Sales manager who helped me applying for the credit and did a great job to give me a comparable price with Wilsonville Honda for the same trim level. Jasmin was the service representative who was very cordial and welcomed me to there service center.

Danny Lucero was of great help to take me through the Honda warranty guidelines. He was extremely helpful and instrumental for the documentation and approval of my loan through the Honda Financials. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A 5 STAR IF THEY HAD DELIVERED MY ACCORD WITH A NEW BATTERY. My battery died after the car was delivered and had to make a trip to the dealership within 24 hours to get a new battery.

My only suggestion is to check the delivery process and make sure such a isolated instance does not happen with any other customer.

Melvin was the breathe of fresh air we needed. After having been to dealers all over oregon the entire day Melvin found us the perfect vehicle we didn't even know we wanted. He was honest and hard working for us. He heard everything we wanted and didn't want in a car and made it afforadable as well. He was the most accomdating salesman I've ever had the pleasure to work with and would recommend everyone asks for him by name.

This was the worst car buying experience in my 64 years. We were working with internet sales and had selected a used Odyssey and had been given an agreed upon price for our trade in (4 Runner). We explained we lived 5 hours away (250 miles) and would be on the road early to be at the dealership between 12-1 o'clock pm. We gave our cell phone numbers and asked to called in the event the vehicle sold . We were told the vehicle would be ready and waiting for us when we arrived.
Upon our arrival, there was no vehicle ready. Another Odyssey ($4,000 more than the one we selected) was brought to us. We pointed out the error and waited while they searched for our agreed upon vehicle. After more time and searching, we were told the vehicle had been sold the night before. No phone call was ever made to tell us and we had driven 5 hours and made a reservation to stay the night.
In short, they lied to us. In my opinion this was deliberate and an attempt to try a bait and switch on a more expensive vehicle. The manager could not have cared less and only said mistakes are made.
Avoid this dealership!

We had agreed to purchase one vehicle only.
We had agreed on the price of the vehicle.
We had agreed on the trade-in value of our vehicle and considered it to be fair.
We were never offered any compensation or gas for the trip we had made.
You are not telling the truth.

I went to Beaverton Honda as a first-time car buyer, and was very fortunate that Jon Stevens was the first salesperson to approach me. The whole experience was relatively painless, and even when negotiations with the financial guy got a little irksome, I felt like Jon was on my side. He got me the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford. I certainly learned some things about buying a car in the future, but I would definitely go back to Beaverton Honda.

Fast service on Andrews part and he was able to find four quality new tires on sale with installation for under Costco prices. Andrew was able to get a loaner for me so I could run a few errands as I waited. Over board Service!
And the free cookies are a nice touch too.

I continue to have a great experience at Beaverton...

I continue to have a great experience at Beaverton Honda Service Center.
I recently had my car in for 160,000 mile maintenance work.
The service personnel are friendly, energetic and helpful. All the work requested was completed. I asked if there were any coupons for the service and Lance stated he did not know, but if I found any even after the service was completed, he would try honor them. Several days after the service when I called him to clarify some items marked " not done" on the thorough check up list that he gave me. He answered by question promptly. Then I told him I had found several coupons- he promised to look into seeing if he could applying the ones I told him about. Later that day I got an email noting a $74 refund from Beaverton Honda to my credit card. The next day Lance called to make sure I had received the notice of the refund. Now that is above and beyond customer service! Thanks Lance.

We had a great experience with Beaverton Honda and Our salesman, Kyle was great. From the online support before coming in, the cleanliness and intentional protocols around Covid, to the cars themselves, everything was smooth.
Kyle was professional, kind, good natured, and super helpful. He gave us the space we needed and answered any and all questions we had. Would definitely work with him again!

We live in California; we bought this car in Orego...

We live in California; we bought this car in Oregon. Much confusion in getting it titled and registered since California is a sales tax state. The dealership claims that they do business in the "One Person/One Hour" process, and I am certain that this would have been the case if we had been locals.

Since we were financing this purchase Honda Motor Credit would not allow us to complete the transaction without going through the paperwork process of guaranteeing our California sales tax payment -- which turned our "One Hour" experience into about 4 hours.

Note the 5 Star Rating -- the "One Person" rule was upheld and our salesperson who was both new and had never completed such a complex transaction never lost his cool or his patience. He made sure that every detail and requirement was handled correctly and was thoroughly professional throughout the entire process.

p.s. we LOVE this car!
