Bar far my favorite pizza on the planet. And I love pizza. I will drive 100 miles out of my way to eat a meal here (I don't live in Colorado anymore). Personal preference is the Idaho Springs location, with great character of the building, convenient location after skiing, and the very cool old Colorado town feel.

Great atmosphere and easy parking. I only had a bit of crust as I only wanted salad from their great salad bar and the crust was so insanely delish. My family that actually did eat the entire pizza was over the moon in love with it. Did not disappoint. Excellent service.

I honestly have NO idea why this place has such great reviews and when you arrive long waits (which makes it appear that the place is awesome?!?!) The beer was flat, the pizza was not very good (then again I am from NY... ) but it was also terribly expensive!! The service was great and the salad bar was decent but for the value and taste, I don't think it was worth it - sorry!

How can you not love this place. Giant pizza and good service. Beau Jos is iconic. It is probably the busiest place in town but they still move very fast through the lines of people. You don't feel rushed once you are seated and the food is worth it every time.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Went here for dinner yesterday with my family and got the "Classic" calzone. Was one of the best dinners I have ever gotten out. The crust was cooked to perfection and paired (surprisingly) well with the honey they give you to top it with. Was very happy with the service and it had a great atmosphere. If you are in the mood for some yummy and amazing pizza, Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs is the place to go.

Some pretty great pizza in a pretty neat town! Service was great too! Wonderful historic aspect to the environment.
I enjoyed the pizza, not my favorite or anything, though my husband loved it. A lot of great menu options aside from pizza that I would love to go back to try too! Worth the stop for sure.

We usually love eating here because of the location and quality of food but this evening was different because the service was not up to parr. Our waitress kept forgetting to bring water and our to go box. We noticed everyone in our area got plates except us so needless to say it got messy. It just felt like we weren't even there after spending about $90.00 bucks for two people to eat pizza.

If you've never had mountain style pizza your in for a surprise and no spoilers but if you don't come hungry you'll be taking sliced home. Leave restaurant with multiple dining areas with rustic, mining decor befitting the area's history. Right on the main street in Idaho Springs just off of Interstate 70 West of Denver.

Pretty cool building and atmosphere in general. Pizza is pretty good as well, so you can expect to wait during peak times. They do have a lot of seats so it seems to move pretty quick. Salad bar was very good.

As mentioned the pizza is good but not CRAZY good, i would say 4 out of 5 stars.

Minus 1 star for the hidden 3% kicker on top of the bill that goes to the back of house. I understand why it's done but just increase your prices by 3% and pay them that? It made us wanted to tip slightly less because we were forced to pay that (and didn't see it until we got the check, was confused).

Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, we were there on a Sunday and it was very busy but our orders arrived quickly. While the food
taste was excellent, the price seems awfully high for pizza.
Updated 8/28 - based on the owners reply, I increased my rating to 5. Respecting and using healthy ingredients from local resources while respecting the people that work for your business is a great thing and we need more like this, thank you for taking the time to reply.

Wouldn't seat our party and when we asked to split our group, they will not allow it. Their excuse was that they didn't have any waiter (they seated 6 groups while we waited and had 8 people behind the counter dancing). Hostess was rude 1/11/2015 12:00pm

I am sitting here at Beau Jo's now and it is terrible. I used to love this place and am saddened that it is this bad now. I brought it up to my waitress and she says "well tha sucks" and hands me mh bill. What a f***ing joke this place has become.

Mountain Pie... fluffy crust edge, fresh toppings, excellent service and decent price. Get a pager and shop at the quaint Idaho Springs shops while you wait!
Unlimited salad bar and ice-cold beer go great with your favorite pie. Don't forget to drench your crust in fresh honey!

Nowhere to park so had to drive around for half an hour waiting for people to leave, there was nowhere to park anywhere in Idaho Springs. Waited 45 minutes to be seated, ordered and waited an hour and a half to be served. The pizza was okay but nothing worth returning, this place is highly overrated! It's too congested and crowded, spent two and a half hours here for "okay" pizza.

We decided to go to the Indian Hot Springs for my birthday, and stopped into Beaujo's for lunch. First off, all of their drinks come in Ball Jars which is awesome. Second off is that the salad bar is the freshest I have ever seen. And the price for kids to eat at the salad bar is only $2.00 to entice families to eat more veggies. Then, there's the pizza. We ordered their famous Mountain Pie crust with Pepperoni and Mushrooms. Once you get to the crust, you set it aside and later put honey on it for a delicious dessert! What's even more awesome, is that this pizza is absolutely AMAZING when reheated. I usually don't like reheated anything, but this was just as good as when we first bought it. I will definitely be going there again!
