It is always impressive that here in Santa Monica the newest products are always first. The brand new iMac Pro did not exist in all Apple stores in and around Los Angeles. Supposedly only in a month (iMac has already been released and could be ordered). This store already had accessories and all other products were in stock. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait for anything. The selection of bands for the watch is great and there is also a large selection of products and accessories for DJI in stock and you can give competent advice in both software and hardware. I can only recommend.

This store has the worst service I ve ever seen. They're not helpful and they will waste your time as they push you from one team member to another. Went 2 times for a simple return and they made it a nightmare.
they also refuse to take your temperature on your wrist, which all businesses in Santa Monica allowed to do. It s ridiculous that it such a popular company doesn t care about their customers well-being.
It took them 2 hours to get someone to take care of my product, and then the "genius" couldn't solve my repair request, had a "I'm better than you" attitude and ended up sending the repair to the wrong address.
I was very impressed with the level of service here. I made an online appointment to fix the broken display on my iPhone 8. After wasting my time attempting to perform this repair with my carrier retail store, I thought it would be best to do this directly with Apple. A good idea. Very personal service. You check in, then are greeted by the technician who will fix your phone. An hour later it was ready, and as good as new. $150 for the new glass and display. I even purchased a new iPod touch while I was here for my little kid. I recommend making an appointment online before coming here. It gets busy.
The trick is to set up an appointment! I took someone else's laptop in to be fixed and was surprised by the service. I was left in shock that apparently all of the tech help is free. And by free I mean you pay for it when you purchase apple's expensive products. I now have to take in my laptop for a once over
I came Into the Apple store with an appointment and bill Weber did everything in his power not to accept our appointment. I personally Would suggest you purchase a Samsung
The clerk's hospitality was kind and he answered all the questions properly, so I was able to purchase with confidence!
The clerk's customer service was kind, and he answered all the questions properly, so I could purchase Apple products with confidence! I have bought about three years ago.I'm still using it!
The Worst of the worst. They refuse to serve , two or three of the sale associates are staying and not doing nothing, people wait for 30 min . The security from Security industry Inc with name Mark The Worst of the worst. They refuse to serve , two or three of the sale associates are staying and not doing nothing, people wait for 30 min . The security is rude from Security industry with name Mark extremely rude . Cara or Ciara sell associate were available and do nothing to serve all 10 people that were waiting ... Cara or Ciara sell associate do nothing to serve all 10 people that were waiting ... These people are waste of money for Apple compony
I gotta say first off I've been a mac user since 1998 and always been a fan of their products and service until now. I bought the new iPhone 6 and within one day the screen had cracked in my pocket. I went to the Apple Store to have a genius appointment that took a week to reserve to and several disconnected calls. Never got a confirmation email or anything. I go and patiently wait ten minutes for the woman in front of me to finish (guess what, her screen is broken too). It's ten minutes past my appointment and they say after ten minutes the appointment automatically cancels. They say the wait time is now more than two hours. Of that isn't some Kafka-esque bs I don't know what is. Now to the store. I explain the issue to the manager, who says it's my fault the phone broke. That it takes 110lbs to break the screen. It was in my pocket. I was sitting down. That's it. The store smells of the sweat of the throngs of people waiting in line to buy this exact same terrible product. I politely ask the manager "john" to replace the screen free of charge. He says it is $109 dollars. I ask him why he can't do it for free and he says that "tons of people come here every day with the same problem and he can't do it for everyone so he can't for me either". I ask him if he can say that again for me while I record him. He says "we are done here and if you don't leave right now I'm calling security". I've never had such a disrespectful customer service experience in my life. Don't go to this store or buy apple products if you expect them to last.
Yet again the Apple Retail Store Genius Bar team came through. It is an exceptional experience. The representatives are thorough and knowledgeable, not to mention friendly, caring and positive. If they have to find someone else with specialized knowledge then they do so. This speaks to a high quality hiring process matched by both strong training and thoughtful management.
Went to store to purchase a phone and service and honesty was their biggest bonuses. This is a very busy and touristy store so you have to catch the timing just right or you can be there for 45 minutes to an hour.
the 1st day the iPhone 6 came out it was about 100 degrees outside and there was such a long line. People were waiting for like 3 hours! Apple staff were running around handing out these ginormous umbrellas and bottles of water to everyone. i do just love all things apple--so this is my bias. i've always gone to the Promenade Apple Store for purchases and other help. I love the experience, the people watching, the btw incredible dog friendliness, the slight chaotic euphoria that seems to go along with all things apple and the people who love them. i love the new store, the airport hangar vibe, the light, the space, the vibe. all things apple. yes.
oh, and i didn't wait, on that 1st iPhone 6 day, in the long long line in the heat--not for very long anyway. i did share a ginormous umbrella with a very nice Russian (I think he was Russian?) man, who spoke not a word of English, and his wife. We smiled at each other a lot and nodded, unified by our shared love of apple.
And i went in the store and handled the 6 and the 6+ and decided after all that the 16 gig 6 would be plenty good enough for me--since after all I will also be buying the watch the second it comes out.
two days later i called the promenade store and was able to order and pay over the phone and walk in the store an hour later, (they texted to let me know ready for pick up) wait about 20 minutes in a line (with my dog) and collect my bright new beautiful new (space gray) iPhone 6--all shiny, bought and paid for.
i think that's just incredible service and excellence. above and beyond the incredible design, craftsmanship, technology, engineering.
i won't even go into the memories of taking my recently deceased mother into the Promenade Apple Store, years ago now, to buy her an iPhone. How incredibly patient, polite and helpful everyone was. And my mom came to love, understand and rely on her phone, even through dementia and cancer.
why does apple attract so many haters? it makes me feel very loyal and protective of them--like apple needs my help. lol. well maybe not. but apple has made my life better, truly & i love them.
Great location and product line. Highly inconsistent customer care. Some folks working there clearly care. But many employees appear bored as to your existence.
I have purchased 15 to 20 iPhones, iPads, laptops and towers in this store over the years.....despite spotty to bad service. Why do I go there? Close to home, high product quality ..... despite gritting my teeth for abuse when walking in. Which makes me want to switch to Samsung.....which should not be a good thing for Apple. But right now they are "hot" so they get away with this behavior.....
really nice service. The staff are really nice when we went to get my screen protector on my iPhone. The guy had made a mistake one time and threw it out and the second time did it again and it came out perfect! It stayed on my phone and hasn't cracked since! The manager also gave us a complimentary apple charger and it came in handy when using my iPhone 6s plus!
Genius Bar people are awesome but the sales staff were not helpful or accommodating in any way. For the amount their products cost you would think they would put more of an effort in.
While the Apple staff were very courteous and friendly, and very knowledgeable towards finding solutions, I still have issues with the actual product. Apple needs to come down to normal prices and make more productive equipment.
It s people like the ones working the front door on Friday October 16 at 2 pm that would kill Apple. First, she couldn t find the appointment so kept me waiting for 25 mins outside, then her coworker helped her find the appointment and she said I was late. Ridiculous unprofessional staff.
This is an absolutely location is really impressive- beautiful store. They entire ceiling is all skylights which allows for beautiful natural lighting within. I took me MacBook pro here to get serviced after it was getting a strange error message I had never seen. I made an appointment ahead of time so they were able to get to me within just a few minutes of walking through the doo Awesome service.
The genius working on my computer was able to fix whatever the problem was in under two hours so overall it was a VERY good experience!
I been to this location multiple times for repair and warranty replacement. The service is ok, it really goes back to Apple as far as what they want to do with repairing the phone or replacing it with a new one. It's very busy location so even with appointment you can end waiting for almost an hour.
Apple products are not my thing for a long time now. Being arrogant in the past, not accepting other formats and carriers, thanks to the so called geniuses that don't have any clue, dress code, and they can look any way they want. They suck!
funny if Apple was a Bank... "sorry, you entered your passcode incorrectly, therefore your bank account has been DISABLED & you don't have any money in your account, anymore, because, while restoring your account, YOUR MONEY WILL BE DELETED." "you should have used our iCloud service that protects you from people stealing your money.... that was deleted."
As a very long time Apple user dating back to the Apple G3. I had a bad experience in the store. I went simply to buy hard drive Lacie rugged 4tb $169and then proceeded to check out. The security guard told me I could use my app. So I tried that and did not work so then wave down an apple colleague because it was not working and I guess it was not entered into the system.
So I could not check out myself using the Apple store app. Then I asked can I just pay for this with my card. With the 20 people working on the floor he told me it would be a 10 minute wait to pay for something. This really upsets me... with the modern age and the tech company Apple is... this was Ridiculous. With the staff that big and 4 security guards. Come on!!!!
It was just so hard to believe that I could not buy a simple hard drive and I had to wait 10 minutes to buy something to use a physical card. Mind blown.
Excellent attention, very good and cordial people, I loved being there, I miss you all very much, thank you for being so good and cordial with me, I hope to be back soon, dear Thiago from Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA
I have to be honest, I've always been a Microsoft buyer. But I was walked thru by Tom and he made me realize what I've been missing. If it wasn't for that walk thru I would have just walked away. Thank you Tom
On holiday on California from the UK. Popped in today with the family to get some new headphones for my daughter. We were served by Tom who by the time we had left had not only sold us the headphones but also provided excellent advice on local food options and the 2 best views in Santa Monica. Thanks Tom. We have already tried one of your recommendations and look forward to the other 2 in the coming days.
I love having an Apple store so close to me and it's beautiful. Apple is great and service to my devices has been awesome. My only complaint is the noise level in that store is totally "out of control." You simply can't hear yourself think there. Still, good place!
An Apple staff member wanted to teach me a lesson for charging my phone. I literally turned away for 2 seconds turned back and my phone was gone. Yet 5 other Apple staff members saw me and wasn't a problem. It only takes one by the book employee to wreck a buying experience. Buy from The Grove it is the best Apple Store.
Always very helpful staff at this location. It's a short walk from my office on Arizona and, whenever I have an issue or need a new Apple toy, I know where to go!
Slick Store filled with hipsters.. Long waits and very poor communications, despite all technology. Some of the staff are standouts (Brandon, John H), but Manager Jeremy is appalling and has zero customer service skills. Can only give one star because he has no business being in this position, and is rude and condescending, and gives the store a bad image and completely taints the brand.
