It was really pretty and there were a lot of pretty fireplaces to take picures in front of.

Great stay at Bear Creek. Professional staff and great service. Would recommend.
Beautiful rose nice lodging tasty places to eat, open late. Mountains always fun.
Great time on the slopes, would definitely go back.
We are beginers and this place was perfect for us! Not pricey, not crowded to compare to Camelback. Boots for skiing have half sizes which is more comfortable. Would highly recommend!
I went in December for a day spa. The price for a 50 minute was double the going rate but I figured the atmosphere would be worth it. My appointment was at 1pm. I was held up doing paperwork and wasn't taken into the room until 1:10pm. The massage therapist stopped the massage at 1:50pm so I basically paid over $100 for a 40 minute massage. It definitely was
not worth the price and the service was less than desirable. Needless to say I will not be returning.
atmosphere would be worth it. I c
Awesome resort! There were free cookies at the check in desk. A full bar/restaurant. Hot tub and pool inside and outside. Our room had a kitchen living room and dining room complete with stove fridge microwave and keurig
The hotel was very nice. Love where it was located. Was quiet and relaxing. Outside pool was perfect temp for the cool weather at night. Loved. The restaurant and service we received from the grille was awesome. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Wonderful wedding reception venue. Great place to stay. Nice rooms.
Bear Creek does a great job keeping the public updated with the conditions of the mountain.
Great lodging for a small mountain. The skiing can't compare to a bigger mountain but everything else being at such a high level for customer satisfaction makes this a great place to spend a day or two.
Loved it. Great space for meetings, food in the cafe was delicious (though took 20 minutes to get my bagel to me), hot tub was divine, rooms were beautiful.
Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. We attended a birthday party celebration and everything was great. Beautiful scenery too!
Great college student deal monday through thursday $25 lift tickets
My son works here n all I can say it s pretty awesome!!
I went for work good food, drinks everyone was nice had a great time
Very nice environment. Went there for half price sushi and it was delicious. Great quality fish and everything was very fresh. They had a decent beer selection as well.
Dangerous behavior from the staff. We were tubing today and at bottom of the hill there was staff fixing the rubber mats that are meant to slow you down. Some of the staff doing this would then deliberately stand in the path of the tubers and jump out of the way at the very last minute as if it were a game.
We had to complain twice before they were stopped. It s completely mind boggling that this would be allowed. All it would take would be for one of these guys to trip while playing this game to cause a nasty accident.
Holy covid.
The young man at the rental kiosk had his nose waaay out of his mask. When I asked him to put it on he said, my mask is on. He then proceeded to breathe all over my family to measure us for skis.
I noticed plenty of workers with noses out. And a ton of patrons without masks or with flimsy token bandanas or neck gaiters.
Mountain was all ice. Food was precooked barely warm and hard from sitting for hours. No cups to get a beverage no ketchup or bbq sauce. I mean your only selling burgers and chicken fingers these are the only 2 condiments needed. Super disappointed. I usually brag about this place. There were only 20 tables to eat at and they were all dirty. Didnt see anyone cleaning the tables or the door handles. Terrible
But tickets are very expensive due to covid and the service is in the toilet. Glad I didnt buy season tickets this year.
Great slopes, easy lifts, but horrible rental system. Took 2 hours just to get rentals. It was a holiday, but there's got to be a better system.
Bear creek is an amazing place. There are many activities to do. I enjoyed there archery very much. There are places to hike and explore. Also durring the winter there skiing is amazing.
This was our 3rd trip to the resort, We realy appreciate the staff and how clean the whole place is. We will definitely come back for the Summer.
A friend went to The Grille at Bear Creek for a few drinks. We sat at the open bar tables and ordered appetizers, which were delicious. I had the calamari and my friend had California rolls. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced.
A beautiful place, with kind staff and great accommodations for being self-sufficient. I like to bring my own food, so I used their room with full kitchen. Very spacious and comfortable. Some great walking paths that my daughter and I enjoyed. Lots of options for luxury too, including the spa and restaurants/bar. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, along with an outdoor pool. We used this for a family reunion. Not sure there would have been enough activities if we weren't visiting with family. But for us it made a great destination location.
Beautiful resort! Room I was in was modern and clean. I visited for a wedding and the resort staff was amazingly tentative. Seems like a great place to have an event.
outside is nice, nature, skiing and stuff. Hotel itself not bad, good vibes, friendly stuff, heating in the room is horrible, it dries air so badly, was drowning whole night
Timely, pretty presentation, but food was just okay. We had both a fish and chicken, both dry and really didnt have any flavor.
Great place to host conferences. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful to help us set up. Front desk was very friendly. Room were nice with comfortable beds n comfy pillows. Huge place and rooms..
It's always a blast to go here. The crowd was very nice tonight and when my friends or I would wipe out, there was always someone there to make sure we were alright. The ticket and rental process was fast and efficient. Come to Bear Creek with a group and except to have a blast!
Snow tubing here was incredibly fun, though the staff wasn't extremely prepared to handle large amounts of people.
Amazing all season resort, including 300+ wooded acres right on the fringe of the Lehigh Valley.
Went to the fall music fest this past weekend and had a great time! Music was great, food trucks and drinks were awesome! Only fifteen bucks for a ticket online. The resort was really nice inside as well.
Despite having reservations at the Grille on New Years Eve, our table was not available until an hour after the time we had scheduled. We overheard the "manager" arguing with a guest and telling them "a reservation guarantees you a table, but not at specific time". Seriously!? Our server Melissa was fantastic!
My daughter is an avid snowboarder and loves going here! I hope to be as good as her one day and have gone several times using the practice area to learn snowboarding.
The visits have been great, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rental dept is well equipped to handle any size group.
Wow, what a place. Had my wedding at this establishment and was completely blown away by the staff the views and everything they have to offer.
Good mountain. The only decent easy trail they have was closed from the top which was disappointing. Could use signs at the bottom of the ski lifts to clear crowds that do not know any better, but overall good mountain and good food.
Went to a wedding, lovely lighting, beautiful ceremony and reception, awesome food, incredible cocktails . Wished I couldve stayed the night
Long wait to check in, for some reason the room was not ready at check in time. It took over two hours to check in. The worst experience was the receptionist never explained the reason why it was a long time wait, she could not even say how much longer will take.
Great place if you are looking for a smaller resort! So close to home also. I'll go here over Blue Mountain's 30 minute lift line wait any day.
Great place my family and I will consider visiting. Especially great for families with small children or first time ski / snowboarding.
Great experience. It was our older children's first time. So we did a private family lesson. The instructors were great.
So close to the Lehigh valley and it's an amazing view, the slopes were awesome and the rooms were amazing!
Nice place. Beautiful grounds. Conference room was nice as well
First class hotel and restaurants. Very accommodating and friendly. Clean and well kept. Great year round resort.
What an amazing place! We toured the facility today for a summer writing retreat we are planning. Katie was super helpful. Had a yummy lunch in the cafe. Can't wait to get writing with the beautiful mountain view as a backdrop!
I visit here annually for a "girlfriends getaway" and have nothing but wonderful things to say about all of it. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating, the food at The Grill is always delicious and the spa is fantastic! We booked our trip for the following year already and they even made note of the room we preferred and promised us we would have it! It's come a LONG way from what I remember from when it was Doe Mountain! We did not ski while we were there but it happened to open early (November) and there were a ton of people there so it must be some decent skiing/snowboarding!
I recently visited for a conference for my company and the service was absolutely terrible. We payed a lot of money for food that was cold and tasted horrible, no clear direction of where anything was and when we d ask staff they would not help us at all. Very disappointed and will not be back.
Loved the Garlic & Cheese Festival. I went skiing there in the late 70's and 80's (Doe Mt) enjoyed it then but Bear Creek is a full resort now. Great job!
I arrived on Wednesday night for a snowboard lesson for my daughter. The staff was excellent!
Nice amenities, great for kids and beginners. Good food and bar. The stars are more for everything other than the slopes. Give 3 stars for difficulty level of slopes.
Have been visiting Bear Creek for years, and it is always pleasant. It's a well kept and fun mountain with one of the best ski resorts I've ever seen. Outstanding facilities, food, and rooms. Never had a bad time.
Love coming hear. The people are nice and the lodge is great. Weekdays are nice and not too crowded
As always a beautiful location for any event. Well maintained facilities and great food.
They didn't seem prepared for the turnout at the food truck festival. Many trucks seemed to be running out of food half way through. There was 1 beer line and the line at the bar was also long with only 2 bartenders.w
Beautiful hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms! Great stay!
The Bear Creek mountain ski is a nice place for beginners of ski or snowboard. I took a beginner's group lesson at it, and unlike some other ski resorts, which try to send you off after two-hours lesson, the instructors at Bear Creek at diligent and will not let you go until you know how to ski and avoid bumping into others. Moreover, you get to learn as long as you want!
Great ski resort and the Grille is a great place to eat after!
A beautiful place for any season...celebrations...and quick get aways
Many activities available for any length of stay
Rooms were very spacious and clean
Food was good quality and quantity...and two restaurants to choose from
Although even though the quality of the food from the grill was exceptional the entrees were pricey....as was the American bfast was pricey also
Staff was very friendly and helpful
I would definitely come again as the prices for the from was very affordable
The seminar rooms were Spacey and quiet....although plug in ports would be helpful
The banquet areas are beautiful and spacious also
Awesome lesson teachers. Decent runs given the size and location.
Make reservation for the grille if you want to eat there.
Small and kind of oddly laid out. It was a long walk from the parking lot, where you're forced to park by the ski parking lot attendants (I got no love for you ski parking lot attendant).
One of the smaller ski mountains in the area, it's a short drive from Philly area but still they manage to keep the lift lines short. Seem to have more "park" slopes, so your 12 to 20somethings will love it. Set up well for families also with plenty of green and blue, and snow tubing. The lodge, hotel and amenities are among the nicest in the Poconos.
This was our first stay here and we loved it. We had a double queen suite, room was nice huge balcony and perfect view. With multiple Jacuzzis and pools (all heated), nice cozy fire pits all over and variety of slopes my family has a blast. We will return!
Great ski area for family-beginner intermediate skiers. Really nice lodge, friendly staff and the food prices are reasonable.
Great place to relax with friends. Clean rooms and great spa.
