Fantastic hotel! Splurge on the "beachfront" room... it's worth it

Yeah!!! My favorite place in the world!!! My best friend and I reunite with each other every year to every two years!!!!!!!

I went on a whim. The experience want bad or great. Just as it should be.

My husband and I booked a room last minute. We chose the partial sea view option. The room was very spacious and had a small kitchenette which was very useful. The room was spotless. We really liked the signs on the doors in the lobby and along the floor reminding guests to stay 6 feet apart and to wear a mask. The couches were super comfy and the bathroom was well cleaned. Definitely recommend the Beach House and we ll be staying here again in the near future.

The experience is beautiful, but please note there is no self-parking, but only valet parking and it $29 per day as of Sep 2019. Other than the parking the rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is spacious. There's also a small patio with two chairs outside to enjoy wine and the beautiful ocean. I recommend the front ocean view for a romantic getaway.

Staff was friendly, location was gorgeous, breakfast was great. Our room was nice and clean. LOVED that you could grab towels, boogie boards, chairs, and even sand toys from the valet. The jacuzzi in the fitness room helped to warm back up after playing in the cold ocean water.

I stayed here several times. I encouraged friends and family to stay here. My sister stayed here. I featured this hotel in my travel show! Then I asked for one simple thing in return, would it be possible for them to upgrade my Dad's room to a better view, no it wasn't.
Why should customers ever return to a property that is completely ungrateful for providing free promotion and recommendations?
If you treat your return guests so badly why would we ever return? They couldn't do one simple thing for me!

If you have a beach view, great view, however they will try and nickel and dime you so watch out. Used to be a great place with no real issues (other than a very limited breakfast), however they have recently stopped providing any additional coffee, water or other items without charging for items that would typically be provided complementary for any higher-end boutique and standard for any frequent travelers. Really disappointing turn.

Best Hotel ever! The bathroom was very modern and clean, with extra towels, a hairdryer, and a nice shower. I especially loved the golden tiles on the bathroom floor as well as the glass door to the shower which you could close properly so that no water would splash all over the bathroom. I will definitely recommend your Hotel to everyone!

Awesome hotel. Service for a great, location is spectacular. Getting away from the city without leaving the city.

The hotel has a great location, the rooms are super equipped and luckily we had a large comfortable bed. Unfortunately there is no smoking in the whole area, so it was not allowed to enjoy a cigar and a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast is unfortunately typical for an American hotel and I was a little disappointed. I really expected more at the price. No egg dishes or the like just the usual stuff like muffins, bagels, cereals, jam, fruit

Very nice, located on the Strand. No food, just expensive suites.

We stayed January 2019 and was awesome. Location was great, excellent location for local restaurants and night life. Had the partial view room and it was worth the money. Fireplace was a romantic touch at night when it cooled off. Staff was very helpful.

Highly over-rated...bad food...remote controls for tv's not working. Temp control in room really bad.

Stayed here with my husband on our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. Big room and restroom, super clean! The hotel is right in front of the beach, near the pier and various restaurants and stores. It also has breakfast included, which had trays and we just brought back to our hotel room . I have no complaints and am looking to coming here again.

Still a go to when in the area, however I see some of the room amenities starting to show need for a little attention. This small change dropped my review from 5 to 4.

Perfect place to stay in Hermosa. They have free beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Right next to the pier.

Boutique upscale hotel right on the strand in Hermosa Beach. We've stayed here multiple times and always look forward to coming back. Close to all the downtown restaurants and a short walk to Manhattan Beach too.

Absolutely awesome location. Steps from the beach. A twenty to thirty minute walk from Manhattan beach. Lots of good food options in the area. The staff were amazing and the rooms were nice. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were absolutely beautiful. Being from Illinois, his hotel was a warm welcome to California. The beach was in view from our balcony, and the local entertainment and food was wonderful. Good Stuff restaurant is right around the corner, along with Sirvios BBQ, both providing FANTASTIC food.

Three years in a row we've stayed here. Best location and staff have always been pleasant. The breakfast room in the morning is tiny so you and 20 other guests are in each others ways as you try to get the bagels and muffins. Free loaner of chairs and towles for the beach. Their wi-fi is horrible, but other than that, there's not too much to complain about.

Wow!!! The Beach House is Simply Beautiful...From the moment we arrived the Car attendant's were very Helpful and extremely Hospitable. The Concierge so Sweet and Helpful as well. But Truly a Special Thanks to Jasmin for her over the top Hospitality. Jasmin your the Best!

I arranged an overnight for my sister and brother-in-law for their babymoon and it was amazing. Jessica went over and above making sure they had a great time. The view from their North facing Ocean View room was stunning and the room itself was gorgeous. I especially liked their COVID precautions, all glasses in plastic bags and information packets also in plastic showing that they have been cleaned since the last person was there. My sister was especially happy being able to sit with her feet up watching a football game and looking out the window at the ocean. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a getaway.

Beautiful beach front rooms that are close to all of the bars, restaurants and entertainment. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable beds and clean room with a deep soaking tub, and a nice rain shower!! Breakfast was yummy, though kinda indulgent with scones, etc. There was cereal and zero fat greek yogurt, and a lot of fresh apples, banana's, and cuties, so you don't have to indulge in the breads and pastries. They have a nice selection of tea's, and honey too! The hot cider and cookies in the lobby were so nice and festive on the very chily day we arrived! The staff were all friendly and kind! I absolutely love that they don't have a blaring tv in the breakfast room! Classy, with a lovely view of the ocean, and plenty of seating on the patio! They had complementary use of beach toys, chairs and boogie boards for the beach. We would love to stay again, it was so very refreshing!

This place is great! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prime location, all the restaurants and shops are right down the road within walking distance. It also is right on the boardwalk, perfect for morning walks or bike rides. Rooms are good sized. They also have anything you need for the beach.

Overall I had a great stay! You couldn't ask for a better location; close to bars, restaurants and right off the beach! There's great room service, a jacuzzi and spa/massage services. My only complaint is I wish the jacuzzi was open past 10 pm.

Karla at check-in was very rude and unwelcoming, gave us no information whatsoever and during our stay we had to ask multiple people about parking beach equipment, breakfast etc... overall our stay would have been much better if we were given some information beforehand without trying to figure it out as we go. Kind of spoiled our entire mini vacation.

Excellent location on the sand in the heart of Hermosa Bch. The staff is friendly & extremely helpful. They recommended a great romantic resturaunt. Perfect anniversary weekend.

It's a little expensive but you get what you pay for. The rooms are spacious and you can pay a little more for an ocean front view. The rooms have a mini kitchen including a 2 burner electric stove, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and some silver&glassware. My room was extremely clean and had a great balcony view with chairs and a table. The property is so close to the ocean that you could practically throw a rock at it. It's definitely a great vacation spot for a vacation.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. I went there with my boyfriend for a romantic couple of days on May. The room was beautiful, the staff super nice and the breakfast very nice on the terrace. I'll surely come back.

Our first visit to USA was in 2013 i think, we stayed at this hotel for 14nights. We loved it! Get a room with ocean view! Hermosa Beach is a wonderfull place, beach, bars and restaurants just meters away from the hotel. We sure want to come back to Hermosa! We had long walks a long side Hermosa... I miss it!

We have our annual company event here. The events manager, Vanessa, is the best in the South Bay. Beautiful setting.

Worst experience ever, in any of the lA hotels. Bad costumer service, unfriendly help desk, stay away from them, you will otherwise get an experience that you regret.

Amazing hotel. We had a wonderful time staying at the Beach House Hermosa. First, the staff was so accommodating and met every need we possibly had. They were friendly, greeted us upon each return, held doors for us and let us know when we had packages arrive, ect. Anything we needed they assisted. The hotel is clean, quiet and steps away from the beach. We enjoyed having beach chairs, towels and sand toys available each day. We absolutely love this hotel and will be back. Dont forget to book a massage while you are staying here. Lauren was amazing!

Amazing..great rooms and great views. My only issue was with the tv remotes. They worked both tv's in the room, making it impossible to control the tv's independently from one another. Solved the problem by spending our time on the beach.
