Blossom North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Review

The staff were wonderful, but the place itself was a disaster area. I do not know how the staff can work on that kind of conditions. That is not a good environment. I have been to different facilities, but never saw one like this. The first day, I was there with my daughter and husband, we saw a mouse in the room. Found out instead of calling an exterminator, they use cats at the Nursing Facility.
Two of my sons called the place trash. It is also a shame that all the residents look forward to doing each day, is to smoke outside for pleasure. It was not just my children, but other people who came to the facility thought it was unhealthy and disgusting.

As for the parking, my daughters car almost got towed away because there was not any wheres to park. We went on the side and thought there was parking space and found out it was a different company.

As a former employee I do not recommend this place for employment nor for nursing or rehab. This place is not only understaffed but it is also,unprofessional, checks definitely bounce here if you don't believe me go find out for yourself. Pay is very low, staff members are doing more than one job etc. Please consider somewhere else for your loved ones as well a yourself for employment.

This facility is a lot better than it used to be. I can really see a change! The staff there is very caring and attentive. The food is good as well.

My daughter was there for three years. The place was a trash heap, lazy and uncaring staff, poor treatment, medication regimes not followed, care plans not adhered to. We were finally able to bring her home with the appropriate services. She came home with a grade 3 or 4 pressure sore which took more than a year and a half to heal. There was no mention of the pressure sore in her records and no skin care plan in place. Her quality of life went to hell because of the lack of quality care. Should have shut down operations there a long time ago.

Don't ever come to this place.
The food is cold.
The window on second floor is cracked and taped up. Fall hazard
Rodent problem
Bathroom ceiling tiles shows where pipes leaked.
Smells like urine. Health Hazzard.
Almost got sick from the food they serve. HeathH Hazzard
Sometimes trays ainta picked up till tomorrow.
Doctor thought I came from a group home.
Not a good place to be.

My brother in law was recently a patient and although the facility is outdated, and needs some tlc, the care was first class, and the staff outstanding. They cared for Tom until his passing, and handled some very difficult situations, including an uncooperative patient. A special thank you to Erin and Yolanda who provided great care and support. The CNA s, and other caregivers are an asset to this facility and should be recognized. The Alger family appreciates everything you did for Tom, and sincerely hope all receive recognition. Job Well Done!

I would never put none of my love ones here place is nasty dirty and food is slop it smells so bad and the place is trash omg horrible ... NEVER SEND NONE OF YOUR FAMILY HERE ....

For being the New Roc I thought the staff was lazy and what I noticed and heard was patients complaining about care.The room where my girlfriends father was looked like a blast from the past.

Blossom North is a wonderful Nursing Home.

When i went to visit a friend there, The feeling that i got from all of the staff is, That they come in to the building with the mind set of how can we make our residents stay in the facility most enjoyable.

They really do a wonderful job!

Place is disgusting, cruel and lazy staff!!! Lost my grandmas personal belongings and do not care to replace or find them. My grandma is in a wheelchair and requires alot of assistance and they sometimes let her sit in her urine for a long time.. she also has a wound on her leg that needs constant changing and cleaning daily which they let her go days before they clean it. One nurse got frustrated with her and started yelling at her then preceded to pinch her and leave a nasty mark.. we are hoping they will discharge her this week!! We are tired and disgusted with all the mistreatment. Plus they stopped all of her therapy.. hate this place
