The attention to detail is amazing!!! It is hard to believe it is cake...that is until you take a bite. The cake is delicious and the custom creations are unbeatable! Oh, and the staff is lovely to work with. BCakeNY is the truth!

I cannot say enough good things about this business.
Usually special orders for custom cakes must be made weeks in advance, but when another bakery was unable to come through at the last minute they stepped up with only 4 days notice!
Everyone I spoke to was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They even called me on a holiday when the shop was closed to finalize all the details.

The cake/cupcakes I purchased were beautiful, delicious and delivered on time with no issues.
I wish I could give them 10 stars, they deserve it.
I have zero hesitation recommending BCake NY to anyone or hiring them again.

Extremely disappointed, it s my first time ordering from them and its my last. I order a cake online under their $199 special, after placing the other I received a call from them verifying the details and i send them the photo of the cake which was one on their ig page. The lady said ok good we got you.....fast forward to the pick up The cake was look nothing like the one I ordered and it s so tiny. They re saying the one i send them is two tier and i paid for one tier so my question is why the young lady didn t say all that when i showed her what i wanted? Don t just do what y all want on my money. Plus the cake icing is bitter wasted my money

BCakeNY was an absolute pleasure to work with! Miriam the owner is extremely accommodating and professional having created exactly what I needed. My partner and I were having an Interior Design launch and she came through with short notice delivering amazingly tasty and beautifully designed cupcakes with our logo. Everyone at the event was extremely pleased and loved the creative touch that they added to the event. BCake is highly recommended for great customer service as well as flawless execution. I will definitely use them again for future events, as presentation is everything and they definitely made it a memorable experience! Love BCake!

This bakery made the cake for my engagement party a couple of years ago. My sister says they showed her and my mother a bigger cake during the consultation but when the cake arrived at the party it was tiny. Thats not even the worst part. When we ate a piece of the cake it tasted like butter and it crumbled. Noone finished their cake and it became a joke at the party that they just gave us " butter flavored" cake. For the price of the cake, it should have been a thousand percent better. Two years later, I'm still annoyed.

BCAKENY is my go to for events. I was really happy to see them offer the cake jars that can easily be shipped. Everything was beautiful and tasted delicious. My favorites were the yam & the carrot cake. BCAKENY always does right by me!

Its a shame when you own a business but dont insight to have customer service skills like owning up to your mistakes or making a customer feel they have vaule you have a decent product but no business ethics unless your dealing with celebrities ie, changed the date for a pick up the person working for BCAKEny never put down the correct time of my pick up and blamed me and told me to move on after my casual event was ruined. the person working with BCAKEny kept emphasizing on money and how i was not charged for changing the time which leaves me to believe had I paid xtra I would have received better service Obviously this little up and coming shop has never heard of putting the customer first what good is it to have a product and a inefficient staff that doesnt know how to relate to customers i give bCAKE ny two thumbs down its hit or miss if your not a celebrity if you are planning an event think twice and be specific with them good luck. Remember this is New York and we do have choices.

I absolutely love BCakeNY. Their cake jars are amazing. We have been ordering them for my restaurant on Long Island and my customers love it so much that they often say it s like a drug ... you keep coming back for more. The service is spot on and the cakes are flavorful and definitely boozy . Five stars all the way.

My mom ordered a cake for my baby shower in July 2014. It was absolutely beautiful. I wish I can add the picture to this review. All my guests were taking pictures of it. Everyone kept asking me where is the cake or did you get a cake and I said yes, it's right over there. It was on a separate table. People couldn't believe it was cake. It looked like 2 white boxes with a gold ribbon wrapped around it. It had a pink teddy bear, a pink onesie, a pair of pink socks, and pink mary jane shoes. The best part, it not only looked great but it taste great as well. My guests enjoyed it and thought it was beautiful. I kept it out the entire event and it held up great. Bcakeny can be a bit expensive but definitely worth it. I would recommend them to friends and I will definitely use them again for a big event.

The cakes from BCakeNY are delicious, especially the red velvet with buttercream frosting. The cake is moist and the buttercream frosting is smooth and has just the right amount of sweetness.

BCake has always been there for me through all of my different occasions. They've always been professional and a small business that is for the people. There is always a walm welcome and they are always willing to help with any need. I definitely recommend them.

TERRIBLE I PAID $60 FOR A DOZEN AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LIQUOR INFUSED, GUESS WHAT HALF HAD LIQUOR AND THE OTHER HALF DIDNT. THEY WERE ALSO REALLY HARD AND REGULAR SIZED. I PAID HALF THE PRICE FOR A DOZEN CUPCAKES IN FREEHOLD NJ AND THEY WERE DOUBLE THE SIZE AND DELICIOUS BUT UNFORTUNATELY THAT PERSON WHO SOLD THEM MOVED HER BUSINESS TO CALIFORNIA. Anyway dont be fooled because these things are terrible

their cakes speak for themselves, but my birthday cake went above and beyond my wildest dreams! it really was the perfect way to end my birthday weekend. not only was it delicious, but so beautiful. i look forward to when we all collectively celebrate in person more next year (fingers crossed lol) so that i can order more of their cakes for my events! thank you for a moment of pure joy during this pandemic!!!

BCakeNY sketched, designed, baked and executed this cake in 72 hours! They came through when 12 other NYC bakeries could not. The cake was moist, and delicious as well. Strawberries and Cream flavor. Everyone enjoyed the cake!

So I bought a cake from them second time .... cake is disgusting no taste well taste like flour if that was a flavor... extremely expensive so you are just paying for the design or the decoration...way overrated.... I tried it once it was no good 2 times that s a done deal if you like flavorless cakes then they are your choice!

Ordered my grandmothers 90th b day cake 8 inch cake 1 tier cake $350....its going to be gorgeous....We did the cake tasting and we went with the coconut flavor (Caribbean family)...50% deposit required...consultation and cake planning..reciept given...they also do delivery for an additional charge depending on location...immaculate customer service....pictures and reviews on final product coming soon....stay tuned!

Came from New York to experience the bakery while in town was so good decided to bring a cake back with me home great tasting cake wonderful staff

First time trying this bakery and it's was awesome! The young lady who helped me was so sweet and professional! I even bought all of the liquor cupcakes they had on display while picking up a custom order! Lol! The flavors were great. Not too sweet and was perfect! Definitely will be ordering again for my birthday Memorial Weekend!

If I can I would give this bakery no stars, but I can't. First, let me admit, the craftsmanship is good. However, the thickness of fonding is so much that when you slice into the cake 65% of it is fonding and the rest is cake. This should tell you already that you don't receive much cake. Their cake is way too overpriced for the quality of cake your receiving. I. feel like too much attention is directed towards the fonding and not to the actual cake and filling inside the cake. The cake that I ordered was way over $400 and for strawberry filling, there was only a small portion of strawberries inside, with a ton of fonding on the inside and in between the layers of the tier slices. Also, the strawberry fonding was excessive. When I initially tried the cake, I instantly noticed that I could taste the butter in the cake (BIG NONO). I was extremely disappointed because I have seen nice cake photos from this bakery, but was really disappointed especially since it was mine. first time trying their cake. I think BCAKE NY is extremely overrated and in turn, has decreased their quality of work in their cakes. Maybe this is because they have some high clientele clients, but overall I will definitely not be coming back to this place ever again nor would I recommend anyone here. You. can find a far better bakery than the cake you will be receiving here.

Very professional staff and delicious cake selection

I got my wedding cake from here everything was just how we wanted it and the price was good. Fast forward 2 years later and this Nutella cookie is awesome.

Horrible place with no sense of community and total disregard for their customers. I originally stopped to inquire about vegan cupcakes and the person there just said we don't have it plain and simple! Silent awkward after that and since there was nothing else to say I just left! Valentine's Day came and I thought they were giving red balloons away for free to kids or with the purchase of a cupcake. NO! They were selling the regular red balloons at $5 each! I was horrified by the price and went to the 99cent store next door where I got the big ones for 1 dollar each. Today it s Halloween, we are passing by and these 2 dressed people are handing out candies to 2 kids, my daughter was the third kid and as soon as it was our turn, the people dressed up went to the kitchen, the lady sitting in the counter just looked at me like what do you want, and I was like my daughter wants a treat as well. She said we gave them candy because we work with those kids, we are not giving candy until 5 pm. What difference would have made to hand out one more candy and have a potential happy costumer? There were no more kids behind us, just us. My daughter disappointed couldn't understand why the other kids got, and she didn't. My advise to you is to read all the reviews before deciding to hire them, what do they all have in common? Terrible costumer service! As someone who likes to support local businesses, I support those that give back to the neighborhood as well. This place is definitely not one of them!

Based on reviews I opted to try their red velvet cup cakes. The cream cheese frosting was delicious but the cupcake was dry. Make My Cake red velvet cupcakes are still undefeated!

I entered the shop and a young girl was at the front where they show you your cake and take pictures on it. The COVID mask was around her neck and not her mouth.

The cake costs nearly 300 dollars for a serving for 4 people and would have cost 150 for delivery

The cake is not packaged in a cake box they put it in a cardboard box and slapped a sticker on it- with no protection and no way to keep it cool for transport. If you ask for it to be delivered it most certainly will be damaged. So don't do delivery.

Awful cupcakes for $60. I went in really hoping they were amazing. I could have made better ones at home as someone with no baking experience.

I felt rushed by the woman helping me. Usually when i go, the Black woman takes time to consult with me, give me samples and help me decide what to get. This woman wasnt rude, but she just wasnt welcoming or warm. It was a turn off and i have been a patron for five years now. Spending over 700 dollars each time i visit

Disgusting customer service, woman was rude from the begining of our transaction. Received old cupcakes for my daughters party. You can taste other things that were being held in the fridge with it. Just gross. And pricing is ridiculous for an amateur job on designs. Never going here again, wouldnt recommend anyone else to go either. Stick to your normal neighborhood bakeries, because this place just isnt worth it. Owner needs to find new workers, other reviewers have similar issues.

I am all for supporting my people, where our businesses are black owned. However, after traveling from the Bronx to Brooklyn in the pouring rain, I come in to pick up my cupcakes (which were smaller than I thought).I enter the store to be asked my name for the order and to have the bakery owner continue her conversation without a hello. She was having a conversation with her assistant about another order and it was just clear the lack of customer service. Every customer is important and that deters people from wanting to spend money with you, especially based on how expensive everything is. To me, it rubbed me the wrong way. I will say the woman in the front desk was polite.

They have done all my family s bday cakes. I would say they are little over priced but at this point, your paying for the name. They have lovely designs and the pandemic has helped getting them in a system where they can make cakes at a shorter time period than usual. It used to have to be at least 3 weeks in advance. Now, it can be as little as a day ahead.

BcakeNY made the most amazing cake and cupcakes for my best friend s surprise engagement party. Not only were they beautiful but SO delicious. Perfectly moist and perfectly sweet. Everyone kept asking where I got them from. Delivery was even early and they were really great with communication. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them!!

I placed an order for a cake that was so small and they charged me $400. I was very hesitant but I put a down payment of $200 on it. Less than 24hrs later I called to cancel my order and asked for a refund and they told me they could not give me my money back. Keep in my mind that I placed my order less than 24hrs ago and my party is a whole month from now! They told me that the $200 is to hold my slot date but if I m cancelling my order and they didn t even start working on the cake then shouldn t I get my money back???? NEVER AGAIN. Yes their cakes taste good but they are too pricey and their policy is TRASHHHHHHH!!!!

Under all of that blue fondant is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. On a scale of one to 10, I give design 10 points (although I thought the ears should've been blue too); I give flavor 8 points (because while it was a little too sweet and not quite as rich as I would've liked, it is tasty); I give size 8 points (because it was smaller than expected but sweet enough to prevent anyone from missing out on a slice); and I give customer service 10 points (because they are thorough and kind). For overall satisfaction, I give 10 points, because my sister was satisfied - ecstatic, really. All she wanted for her birthday was a tasty cake with fondant. The unicorn (one of her favorite creatures) and blue and rose gold (her favorite colors) were a bonus! And as long as she's happy, I'm pleased.

The reason I give four stars instead of five is because the price was steeper than I would expect for the cake that I received. At the same time though, I value the craftsmanship that went into creating such a beautiful masterpiece. I may not be going back any time soon, but BCakeNY certainly has my support (especially as a woman-owned, Black-owned business)! Thank you so much for making my sister's 21st birthday so magical!

My 1st experience was a great one! I tried the Candied Yam cupcake...it is DELICIOUS! I highly recommend them but they are seasonal. Looking forward to having this cupcake again....

Hunty if you like moist (sorry for the word choice) cake this is the spot. I wanted a custom cake shaped like sushi for my husband s bday and couldn t believe how detailed and accurate the cake was. Not only that but it actually was delicious. The owner was super nice. I couldn t believe I actually met her. Hands down the best cake spot hitting on all levels. FYI strawberry is my fave if you want a recommendation! I ve also had cake jars shipped to friends in cali and Florida with no problem.
