Worst experience with this bakery and will never order from them again. I paid over $500 for a custom cake straight off of their photo gallery and the cake we received looked nothing like the one I ordered. I paid extra to have the cake delivered to the restaurant for an important birthday dinner and the bakery rep said they would take care of everything. When I complained of the cake we received, they sent me a picture of how the cake looked when it LEFT the bakery but were trying to figure out what went wrong. I had a call with a woman named Miriam who had the worst customer service manners I've ever experienced while telling me they pride themselves on customer service. The fact is, the cake we got wasn't what I ordered and she tried to blame the restaurant and tell me the cake ARRIVED at the restaurant perfectly. They never sent me a picture of how the cake looked at the time of delivery so it could have been damaged during the delivery process but she didn't even acknowledge that as a possibility. Instead of acknowledging the fact that the bakery could have been responsible for the mishap - she continued to tell me that that it's not their fault. She then offered to give me a gift card. The #1 rule in customer service I thought was - the customer is always right. Not sure where she learned her customer service skills from but that definitely hasn't registered with her. After wasting 20 minutes of listening to her repeatedly say everything that essentially boiled down to "it's not our fault" - I gave up since it was clear dealing with them was a waste of time. I thought about contesting the credit card charge for the delivery but again - debate whether I want to continue to waste time on this. Dealing with this place isn't worth the hassle or the cakes.

Ordered a Red Velvet cake with buttercream icing for my birthday and it was perfect! The cake was moist and everyone loved it. Service at the bakery was good they were helpful in letting us know how to properly store the cake until consumption. Black Woman Owned Business in Brooklyn -- highly recommend, they also sell cupcakes as well! Great experience.

I ve ordered multiple cakes and cupcakes from BCakeNY over the years and every time I do it gets rave reviews from everyone. A sure fire show stopper every time I can t wait to have a reason to order another one:)
