It can house several spectators simultaneously, good conservation, a beautiful competition venue.
Great place to cheer on your team with the whole family!
Always a good time from Rugby 7s, Soccer, CFL, concerts, etc.
Expensive (typical stadium prices) but above average quality makes it more palatable.
The worst sound system. This place makes the best bands sound so horrible!
Busy as usual with extremely friendly staff, however don't appreciate the uptight security not letting you re enter the building after you place one foot out the door
We visited to see play dome organized by WCA. My son enjoyed alot. Staff was very friendly. The best part is these rides were indoor so kids and family can stay long. Highly recommend WCA and Bc place
Playdome was a fun family event. Would have been better with beer.
Lots of fun events are available. plenty of public parking available. close to sky train stations (5 min walking distance)
A huge stadium with lots of seating and a good layout, with your typical overly-expensive stadium food
Rugby sevens tournament. Fantastic weekend for all the family. In and out privileges until 3pm. Reasonable food. Drinks still pretty expensive for what they are. Big stadium with lots of seats.
It's hard to say anything remotely bad about this place since we have attended so many functions in this old venerable stadium - from Lions games to monster this to cast shows to his and garden shows to rock concerts. It had its quirks and faults but it has served its purpose well.
The recent refit had given it a new lease of life. I am just happy that they did not tear it down to give room to more high rise condos. The city of Vancouver needs a facility like this.
Only drove around and viewed the field from our Hotel. Seemed like a great stadium. Multiple teams share the venue. The locals we're proud of their futbol and football teams. Next time we are in town we will take in a few games .
Went for the opening U2 concert. Awful experience! Horrible crowd control organisation - missed most of the opening act - and the sound was terrible. Do not go there for a stadium concert, stick to Rogers Arena!
It's nice to have a flash of light just an hour at night
Went to watch a soccer game, it was overall a quite nice experience.
But...
Fake grass. Come on! That really sucks, for the players it's really bad for their health, and for the supporters it looks bad and it makes the game bad.
Advertisements really hurt the eyes, they're way too bright so it's exhausting for the eyes.
Can of beer for $9, but you can't even use debit/credit card.
We couldn't find hot drinks.
Can't bring your own drinks, not even a simple bottle of water. I had to throw my bottle of water in a general waste bin, so possibly no recycling.
General announcements are way too loud; they almost saturate the giant speakers. It's insanely stupid.
Hosts many games and such, busy with events but pretty good place.
Saw the whitecaps game opener this past week. Great facility and great entertainment that day.
An awesome stadium for supporting the Vancouver Whitecaps!
I have been seeing inexpensive tickets to the Mumford and Sons concert and I have been tempted to go to say the least. However, I wish the concert was at Rogers instead; I do not wish to support BC Place stadium in any way.
A few years back I purchased tickets for the Mumford and Sons concert, and missed most of it because of disorganized, poor management who lack problem solving abilities. I have not been to the stadium since, nor plan to until BC Place makes adjustments with their management.
Been there to watch a basketball game. Fantastic place, good experience. Too easy to get lost, though.
Fantastic Paul McCartney concert. Packed.house. bit of.an echo and the.monitors should.have.been back a.bit.for the.side.people to see.better. but what a performance. Wow
Well it's a world class stadium and it has everything rhat you expect from such giant structure. If you're planning to eat inside.. rethink about it. But if you're fan freak then anything is fine. I was thwre for Sun Run ao won't say much about it. Whatever i saw, i liked it. It was a good experience.
Great venue for Rock Concerts with a convenient location in the city. Close to train and bus stations.
It's a fun place to go watch games. Lines are usually well organized and a good selection of beers, snacks etc. Would be more enjoyable if it was less expensive to buy the food and drink.
Was there a long time ago but the experience for the grey cup was great
I watched the Woman's World Cup match between England and Canada here. Was the most amazing experience ever. The stadium is so beautiful and well designed. I could see every moment of the game with perfect clarity. The stadium is very close to the ground which creates a perfect display of the pitch.
Vancouver Home and Garden show. A bit of a walk from skytrain with no real directions. Very is great and huge. Lots of walking. Food court was acceptable
Great experience at the Whitecaps game. Very friendly atmosphere.
I fell down the stairs and was handled by the first aid team. They were very effective and kind. I am very grateful for that. I won those tickets as i could not normally afford to go. And missed 1/2 of game. But was well taken care of. Thanks staff! (Kris and Devon).
Drinks are very expensive and the cell reception in there can be a little challenging at times.
Overpriced. A huge rip-off. $5 for a pop $10 for a beer $10 for popcorn. It's crazy
Ambience is great, you will believe Canada has won the World Cup once in soccer, great fans
Went to the lions game with my daughter. The game was entertaining but the price was prohibitive. I would go more regularly if it was more affordable.
Functional stadium. Staff is helpful and shows are typically well put together.
Okay place. Food is very expensive and nota great selection
Went to a Whitecaps game though I would say the place didnt seem to have soccer in mind when it was built it was still good for seeing the game. I would say everything is over priced though when it comes to food.
This is the chandelier donated by the devoper of a condo project in Vancouver. Twice a day it rotates.
Such a great atmosphere here, whether you are watching a Lions or Whitecaps game or you are at a concert
Great stadium to watch Soccer. Seats are comfortable and easy to see the action on the field
Great place to be and watch some games, food is overpriced though
I suppose it's an improvement over the old iteration (re: new roof). Lots of seating, but local sports teams only use the lower bowls. Food is a bit pricey but not outrageous. There's probably some parking but don't bother bringing a car, there's a SkyTrain station right beside the stadium.
Didn't go I'm there. Just seeing from outside at night time, it is beautiful.
The Mumford and Sons concert was awesome but the temperature in the concession area and stadium was excruciatingly hot, then you add all the bodies, lights etc...too hot
Beutiful arena and if you don't find enough entertainment here consider visiting the many attractions located in or around this location including the brand new casino next door
Cons
There are alot of undesirable characters in this area lock your vehicles when parking and store any valuable in your vehicle out of site
Well appointed, but the sun will be in your eyes if you're on the wrong side of the arena
