Good food and the staff was nice... a little pricey

Really great BBQ and this place on the weekends is slammed !! A must visit !!

The cole slaw was watery with no dressing & the broccoli salad was old. The broccoli was limp. The meat ( pulled pork) was delicious. I would suggest asking how fresh side are before choosing.

This place is awesome. I just wish they would open a just south of Charlottesville location so I could go more often.

We spent $80 for 4 adults and 2 kids and ate most of it. Rolls should come free of charge w/o the bbq. Peanut butter and chocolate desert was fantastic. Good cole slaw and beans. Pumpkin muffins were better the day after when the crust became a little crisper.

I placed my order at about 2pm on an October Sunday and I was informed it would be ready in one hour. I explored a bit of the town while I was waiting, and after about an hour, I received a text that my order was ready for pickup.

I ordered the pork barbeque sandwich with the hot pig sauce, and fries. The sandwich came with small servings of pickles and coleslaw on the side, so I added them onto my sandwich. I also ordered two small sides of baked beans and collard greens.

Everything was delicious! The food was definitely worth the wait, the prices were reasonable, and I really look forward to returning some day!

FANTASTIC!! I've had the regular pulled pork as well as the pork belly, brisket, and specialty sandwiches (the heaven and the hell). The sauces are all so delicious as well as the cornbread, sides, and desserts. I grew up in Luray, and I live in Virginia Beach, so every time on my trip home, I stop here and it's amazing every time. Good, fast service, always busy.

I got 8 bone ribs. They were soggy. had almost zero flavor. No smokiness at all. i swear they were boiled. very disappointing

Got the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket. It was all delicious. Even the sides were good!

Great BBQ my only complaint is that it was a little pricey but very good

We went on a Sunday so it had a line through the door. The building is cramped but taking the food to go is easy enough. You wait in line, order like at a Moe's, and pay. The macaroni is great, as are the ribs and cornbread. Better than most BBQ places-and you get a lotta bang for your buck.

It was the BBQ of our dreams! All the sides were great as was the cupcake.

Everything I have ordered here has been amazing! The wait is a little long but it's expected since they are always busy. Great place to eat!

I had absolutely NO service to call nor place an order online. We drove from Woodbridge to check this place out and no one would even come to the door. They also had a sign advertising a restroom, which was locked. Thanks for being so hospitable for patrons wanting to spend money!! And yes, they were open because there were people eating outside at 558pm.

Love the bbq here, the collard greens are the best.

Got there around 7:30PM & they close at 8:00 - long line but it moved quickly. Similar to an old fashioned cafe where the items are behind glass-you can see them whike ordering & staff dishes them up. Employee helped by offering menus to those waiting in line which sped things up. BBQ, Brisket & sides were excellent- great cornbread!

I Have to say this place rocks.
Talked with the Pit master out back for about 30 minutes.
Everything was amazing, especially the Pork Belly. It was like candied bacon.
4 meat platter. Brisket, Pork, Ribs and Pork Belly.
They make everything in house, including all their deserts.
Go early this place gets busy..

The cornbread shouldnt even be called cornbread. Dry and lifeless,the bbq was good and the sauces were great. The Mac n cheese, flavorless more like wet cheese. Go for the meat, and make sure to ask for everything fresh.

This is an excellent BBQ place lots of made from Scratch foods and sauces. Constantly gets praises from critics and it is well deserved. Off the beaten path but well worth the side trip.

Very good barbeque, best in the area. Very good selection of house sauces. The only issue is that there is very limited seating in the restaurant but they give a discount for take out orders.

Food was awesome but felt taken advantage of by purchasing the family feast and then charged 5.00 extra up charge to eat it with my family at the restaurant on a 40 plus dollar meal. Maybe you should review your policy being our resort we stayed at highly recommend them and sends lots of customers there way as they partner together.

Always great BBQ. I love the pulled pork. We order from Bbq Exchange when we are in the area. Also love the sides & Pumpkin muffins. We love their ribs too!

Some of the best barbeque in VA and it's quick, as well as being reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I wished they had more seating, it is always packed when I go!

Outstanding barbeque/smoked meats. Plenty of tasty sides, bbq sauce flavors, and desserts to choose from as well. Their Brunswick Stew is very good, and we really like the hushpuppies and pumpkin muffins. Our family always gets pulled pork and chicken, our friends get the ribs. We haven't tried the other meats yet, but I'd think they're just as good. Very casual atmosphere with picnic-style tables. There is some outdoor seating as well on the porch at the entrance. It's sometimes very crowded and we get the food to take home, but it travels well, so that works out fine.

There is no better bbq anywhere. How triple d has not come to cover porkapoolza is beyond me. If you get a chance eat here. If it is two hours out of your way...worth it! Cnl. Bacon is a sauce unlike any other

My friend recommended this place and we went while hunting in the area. I later took my family back a few times because it was so good. Pretty authentic southern cooking and really good barbecue. I highly recommend it.

I only stopped by here to grab food because I really wanted bbq and I was not disappointed!!!I've seen other Reviews talking about Customer Service but our Service was outstanding!! FYI this place is online or calling your order in ONLY!!!There is a updated Menu!! I also suggest the VA sauce!!

Old fashioned southern style food at a quaint location. Great food and good prices. Friendly people as well. However, parking may be difficult.

This place is amazing. Whether you're looking for a great dinner for two or catering for a huge group, I highly recommend Barbeque Exchange! They are professional, they pay attention to detail, and their food is ALWAYS amazing.

This is the place for great Barbeque. Tonight we had the Family Pack. We ordered in addition some Brunswick Stew, Ribs, and sliced beef Brisket . All were exceptional. The slices of beef were spot on, with excellent smokey flavor and tenderness. Pulled pork was perfect. The jewel of the meal for me was the cornbread. Theirs is exceptional and almost like cake. If you haven't even here you have not had Barbecue.

The brisket was cold, flavorless & chewy. There was no bark on it just uncooked slab of fat that should have been cooked down in a slow cook. The smoke ring seemed to be a dye, what little smoke flavor seemed fake. The collards and pickles were really good.

It's all good but The Pork Belly is really outstanding ..

Delicious down home cooking, I had the collards, spicy slaw & pulled chicken-finished before my husband. He had the pulled pork, spicy slaw & baked beans ( spicy). Inexpensive, delicious food. Highly recommend. The cornbread & pumpkin muffins had the same home made goodness-were moist & tender.

Really great bbq, hush puppies and homemade pickles!

Best bbq in the state!! Go hungry and try everything. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. Try doing takeout and having a picnic at barboursville vineyard.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever tried and definitely the best in the CVille area. Their sauces are my favorite and they make some pretty dang good sandwiches too. You'll leave happy I promise

Delicious food, fast, and friendly service. What more could you ask for! Wife and I shared the 4 meat platter with ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and sausage. Ribs were phenomenal but we enjoyed all the meats. Would highly recommend stopping in to get your bbq fix!

This place is about an hour away from me and I'm willing to travel that far just to get this delicious barbecue! The service is pretty good and the food is sooooooo amazing! You HAVE try this place at least once.

Small and cozy place where you can have a proper BBQ. I recommend the Pork Ribs and the Pork Belly, it is amazing.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Their corn bread is amazing, brisket is tender, and their sandwiches are amazing. We've gone out of our way to make sure we stop by whenever we go to Shenandoah. Well worth it every time.
