Was at Hawthorne Suites visiting relatives. Once again the elevator was out of order. This is a common occurrence there. One would think the elevator would be in working order for a 3 floor hotel that charges $179.00 a night for a room. The TV remotes weren't even functional. Upon asking for a different one twice, no resolution. Definitely not impressed with hotel. Very poor upkeep. Third time elevator has been non-functional in the past year.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but my most recent was much different from the rest. The rooms, as well as the rest of the accommodations seemed to be run down. Also, the hotel had a nice restaurant in the past, but recently lost it. This was a very attractive, and a personal favorite, quality of this hotel. It seemed as the restaurant went, so did the rest of the hotel.

Horrible service! The front desk lady was extremely rude to both our family and extended family upon arrival. No smiles, no emotion. Extremely rude about the explaining mask laws , as if anyone doesn t already know that Covid is going on. Left a horrible taste in my mouth after that. When I asked for the manager she said she was all they had. We will never stay here again!

I had family come to Milwaukee for my daughter's birthday and they decided to stay at the Hawthorn, upon check in they discovered the toilet wasn't working right. We went down to the front desk to get color pencils sharpened and talk to them about the toilet. We were told there was't a maintenance on duty any more, but the lady offered to come up and just see if she could try and just plung it. After the young man behind the counter finished sharpening our colored pencils (he had no pencil sharpener, so he went in the back room and sharpened then with a knife. ) the staff went above and beyond to help us out and its truly appreciated. I will recommend this hotel in the future for my family and friends. Thank you again!

They have a larger room with three beds. (One queen and two twin beds.) Our band stayed there last February. The price was competitive, and the free breakfast was pretty good too. The room was clean, and the staff friendly. If I could make one suggestion, get rid of the Fox News channel in the breakfast room. Nobody likes to watch raving loonies while eating their breakfast.

We stayed here last weekend for our close friend s wedding. The bride was told that Friday and Saturday night would cost her guests $150, when we booked we also confirmed this price. Well instead we paid $150 per night..... we attempted to explain this to the front desk but they were unwilling to correct the mistake. The room itself was fine however many of the wedding guest who stayed had other people also assigned to their room, so random strangers were entering their room. Not acceptable!

Do not go to this hotel. Wendy the front desk clerk lies to get business since Covid messed up or rather halted sales.
Hey Wendy, lying to potential customers DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL.

YOU LOST THE HOTEL SOME BUSINESS.
