Overpriced for an average hotel. The pool is the only reason to pick this over anywhere else.

Very family friendly. Had a great kids pool with slide. Good location to a lot of activities.

No towels this morning in the pool room like multiple others have stated. People being over the top at the bar and pulled a fire alarm in the middle of the night while we were asleep waking us up in a panic just because others can't handle their alcohol. Alarm clock and end table had pop spilled all over it that wasn't wiped off all the way and coffee table was filthy as well. This place needs to look at their staff a little harder and make some changes.

Been coming here for quite a few years n this is the dirtiest I have seen it n the staff was the laziest I have ever experieinced and not helpful at all. The pool area was very dirty n the staff when I called said that there were no Birthday parties allowed here but then the second day we were here a huge Birthday party comes. The suit was dirty and i can't stress enough how dirty the pool area was the amount of dead skin n dirt n other stuff that stuck to my feet was gross. I told staff they needed clean towels so instead of getting all the dirty ones n bringing out a bunch of fresh ones to stock them up they brought out four regular bath towels then there was two different groups of like 25 people that came in and when I would tell them they needed more towels they brought in six. Just sickens me that they represent this hotel n the service u receive! There were no covers over the mattresses only the sheets! The restaurant and bar staff were about the only good part of staying here this time. I was trying to be nice but now I will never come back again n I am copying n pasting this to facebook!

First there was a lot of confusion with the wedding party for the cost of a room for the weekend, and it was more than their normal price for a night. I could have gone on any booking site for $50 less a night than what I was charged! Then they booked me for the wrong night after I called to verify the cost, they changed my reservation for the day prior to the wedding. I went to check in and they already charged me as a no show because I wasn t there on the day prior. They gave me a room for the night of the wedding with no charge. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the plumbing jackhammered every time the toilet was flushed, oh and they checked someone into my room at 4 in the morning so a couple just walked in. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, especially for a Wyndham hotel!

WORST WIRELESS INTERNET EVER!!!!! No matter if you are in your room or lobby. Also the cell reception is almost non existing.

DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT . We tried eating at the hotel. All the food came out burnt but cold inside. We asked to have it fixed and same thing the second time. The gentleman who was on his phone the whole time said the best he could do was take off the kids kiddy cocktails. The hotel itself is ok but the food experience ruined it because after paying for food we didn t eat I had to run to the closest grocery store. In general the place needs some updating for sure but if you are looking for a pool for kids it will work.

I never write reviews but felt the need here. This is the best hotel i have ever stayed at, ever...the gal at the front desk, nicole went way above and beyond her duties. I stayed at this hotel because my daughter had a body building competition in the oshkosh area and the host hotel was full so we were defaulted to this hotel.. We all arrived on friday and we were supposed to check out on saturday. Well that did not happen, we all ended up staying till monday because we were snowed in. Yes, snowed in....i.guess it was one areas biggest blizzards in over 100 years.
Everything in the oshkosh area was closed. I mean everything. We had no food, drink, extra clothes.... We couldnt leave our hotel!!!!! But i made a good friend Nicole. Nicole took the time to just visit with me cause i had nothing to do. I was very lucky to have her to vent to cause it was kind of a stressfull situation. I also want to mention that the hotel is beautiful. The pool area is gorgeous. The breakfest was awesome.....the rooms are huge. If i ever visit oshkosh again i will definitely stay there. I sure hope if i come back that Nicole is there..... the only thing i could add to this review is that i wish the hotel bar would have been open because i sure could have used it.. well we all could have!!!!! Also please know that the othet staff and housekeepers were great too, but nicole made my stay alot easier during the craziest situation ever.

The room was very comfortable and clean, pool area was kept up nicely and had good amenities. Continental breakfast was really good. My only complaint was that the staff could have been a lot more friendly, but they were helpful when needed.

We stayed there about 5 years ago, it was wonderful then. The 5pm social hour was free, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was really good. We just stayed this past weekend and the staff was very short boarding on rude. The room had a smell to it, musky? Smoke? Not sure. The beds and pillows hard as a rock. The 5pm social hour not free anymore. Which is why we stayed there in the first place. It was ok but wont be staying there next time. They also charged us weekend night rates on a Sunday. We had to stay Sunday because of the blizzard. It felt like any question you had for the staff was annoying them. The guy that runs the breakfast is wonderful, very friendly and helpful, there was never a lack of food.

This hotel is due for an update. Carpet is worn and dirty in the halls and rooms. Exercise room is microscopic, hot, and equipment is cheap. Front desk attendant at check in was distracted. One bright spot was breakfast.

Awesome hotel, friendly staff and great accommodations

If you have a choice treat yourself to a nice hotel this isn't it. Place is old and run down. Stains on the hallway floors. Rugs so messed up they buckle in places. Housekeeping doesn't vaccum either. Place is not worth the money to stay here. Breakfast is a joke! Could go on forever.

Looked into booking a wedding reception. Great venue, great pricing!

My bed has been made everyday since I checked in. Beautiful 2 Room suite with range, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator. It has been a great place to call home for these 2 weeks.

The carpet dirt. First room smelled like smoke. The breakfast canceled due to flood in hotel. The hallway was dirt

Decent rooms and meeting space, but no 'wow' factor. Would stay here again.

Staff was nice, place was clean. Only problem was other guests in the hotel that were being inappropriate.

I've lived here for over a month so far after moving from Alaska I can't complain. I work for the Radisson in Appleton and even though this hotel isn't as fancy it does allow me to have my dogs and the customer service is great. Plus the free 2hr happy hour is great!

It was terrible, I am the mother of the groom and our room was double booked and someone else was given a key and came into our room and saw our dog.first thank God! The rooms were tripple the original price that we were quoted. Maybe because they new we were a captive group that had to stay there. Beautiful Lasures venue but they need a new hotel!

The Suites is usual was clean immaculately clean the staff was as always very polite very efficient the young lady at the desk Wendy was more than superb as always. I would definitely recommend the Hawthorn Suites to anybody be it on business or pleasure trip

Dont know how this place gets such high ratings. Maybe management making fake accounts and giving high ratings. Horrible, gross and dirty. No one at front desk so any criminal can walk in at night and break into your room. Everything is broken or run down. Pool is ok at best and staff, well there nowhere to be found. We attended wedding at attached la sures and that was nice.

I have never stayed in a Hawthorn before, but will choose another one. The room was huge and spacious and very clean. Only stayed overnight and had to leave early so if there was a breakfast I did not partake. They did have room service at a outrageous price I could not afford. Will stay again but find somewhere else to eat.

Hawthorn is always a nice stay, and the front desk staff is always joyful and helpful. Every time we come to Oshkosh my family stays there

It is close to cusa and it is a very nice hotel and really clean

The blacktop that connects the road with the driveway during the winter is consistently slippery and/or extremely bumpy from piled up ice and snow. Numerous amounts of times during the winter (or summer) have I nearly formed an accident because of this serious unaddressed issue after I had assumed the driveway was cared for. The ice can be bumpy enough, that if one did not know the icy bumps were an obstacle, they would do serious damage towards the vehicle they were driving!
Whereas during the summer, with rainfall, half of the driveway is near a foot deep in water. Rendering more than half of the driveway USELESS AND DAMAGING to the underside of vehicles. No matter what time of year your taking a risk just by driving into the parking lot.
Its a shame friendly service doesn't make up for personal property damage

Carpet is stained and dirty. Desk in the room had a broken corner that was very sharp. Breakfast area was very dirty and had plastic hanging on some walls.
Kids slide was broken. No towels were availble at the pool.
I can't imagine staying here again because theres better options in the area.

Located next to outlet mall so perfect for shopping. Two queen bed room had ample room to move around bed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff is friendly, parking was easy, and the rooms seemed pretty decent.
They REALLY need a good handyman, though. I was pretty excited to get a nice corner room with kitchenette and a HOT TUB IN THE LIVING ROOM!
I had a few drinks, watched some Netflix, and decided to try out the jacuzzi.
Filled it up, got in, and...
The thing didn't work. I didn't even bathe, I just got out and made another drink.
There was nothing crazily bad there, just little things like the entrance door to the lobby needs to be adjusted so it doesn't slam into the luggage cart you're trying to bring in. There was hardly any cookware in the room, that made cooking anything outside of a can of soup kinda impossible.
Ice machine was broken on my floor the entirety of my 10 day stay, another bummer. They have a guest laundry, which is cool, but takes quarters. Guess what they DON'T have?
A change machine.
None of this stuff was a huge deal, just minor inconveniences. Overall I'd recommend it.

Oshkosh wi,2 adults ,2 choldren, 2bed suite, hotub,pool, and little fridge in room. They had full hot breakfast for free which is really good

False fire alarm at midnight while people are being woo girls in the hotel bar and smoking inside the building when it goes off, say something to the front desk and get the most deer in the headlights look like they have no idea what the hell is going on in their own facility. No towels at the pool this morning. Paid extra money because of it being festival time and have had way more respect at a super 8.

Everything was horrible about this place! The beds were filthy. The front desk guy was very rude they took 2 payments off my card so I really paid for 2 rooms when I should've paid for one! Never again!

3.5 stars as a business hotel. Stayed in room 318. Lost a star n a half due to slow elevator and stairway not nearby, hard mattress, no potatoes at breakfast, coffee not hot, and there were white floating things in the half n half. Otherwise this place is great. Quick checkin, clean rooms, no off odors. Their little bar has a good local brew on tap, friendly bartender.

Stayed in room 218 July 12-14, 2018. In the first hour we found out the tub drain was clogged and had to call maintenance (who was nice & very fast). Then we thought it strange that there's no bathroom fan but then noticed a vent in the ceiling so it must've been broken (didn't feel like calling maintenance again; that bathroom got HOT after four of us took showers). Thursday night around 1230am we're all sound asleep when the fire alarm went off sending us all sky-high and scrambling for shoes, wallets & car keys only to get to the front desk and be told it's a false alarm, we can go back to bed. Saturday morning breakfast consisted of room temp scrambled eggs, watery ham so sweet we couldn't eat it, dried out French toast and only decaf coffee. Milk was served in gallon jugs but there were no cups (not even coffee cups) so we drank from the waffle batter measuring cups (the self-serve waffles were actually very tasty, thank goodness!!) Other patrons were calling for someone from the kitchen door but there wasn't any staff around to service the "buffet" so multiple people went to the reception desk to ask for someone. Saturday morning we went for a swim but came up with two handfuls of hair in an hour and decided to get out before the next one catches us in the face. There also appeared to be soggy potato chips and a cigarette butt sitting all over the pool floor. Oh and the pool only gets 4.5ft deep and it's only at the "deep end" ladder; literally it's only about a 3ft radius where it slopes to 4.5ft around the ladder. The jacuzzi was nice. Taking showers afterwards and housekeeping stopped by to let us know they still don't have fresh towels for us so we used the same towels for three days. Added tip, hotel rooms should have at least one clock. Preferably an alarm clock but even a wall clock would be helpful to avoid having to find a cell phone to check the time. Thanks but we won't be back.

Beautiful! Has a spacious kid's room with a bed for mom and dad plus two twin beds for children. Also has a small pool with slide perfectly sized for little children besides the normal pool and hot tub. Excellent full breakfast.

Stayed there on a Tuesday night. Front desk service was horrible. Asked the attendant if we could split the bill on 2 cards, he replied that we could but it was an extra step for him. Hairs were on the toilet, bathroom door casing and in shower, debris on the back of the toilet. As for the pool, that was ok but there was brown lettuce and other crumbs stuck on the table and the pool toilets were full of "splatter." When we mentioned it to the attendant, he didn't seem to care. When asked for the manager, we were told she was out of town. Breakfast the next day was not looking good with the exception of the prepakaged cereals. Very disappointed by Hawthorn and Wyndham. Definitely would not stay there again. I expect this kind of quality, or lack of, from Motel 6 and Motel 6 rates, not a Hawthorn.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly even late at night. The room was comfortable even the desk chair could have been slept in anytime we are in Oshkosh I would be happy to return.

The rooms were clean. They have very nice rooms. The breakfast was good. When I checked in a lot of people were having to wait to check in because rooms weren't ready. Some of the people we're getting pretty agitated about waiting so long.

I stayed here for Labor Day weekend 2016. On the second day, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Thinking that it was something serious, I left my room and head to the stairway to my displeasure the door to the stairway was locked so I head towards the elevator. Turns out to be a false alarm. In the morning I went to check the stairway door to make sure that I wasn't mistaken about it being locked. It was still locked. I talked to a staff and was told that the doors locked when the alarm was trigger and it probably didn't reset itself so the door would still be locked in the morning. If it was a real fire, I doubt anyone would have escape without any injuries from the second and third floor.

Check in was easy. Front desk was nice and helpful. The hotel has a pool. A bar. The room was nice and big. The tub in the was really good. Breakfast is a full Continental offering.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. It was easy to check in and check out. Walls are very thick..so we didn't hear other guest in their rooms or in the hallways. Pool was clean. The only thing it was advertised as 3 pools but really its a regular pool a kiddie pool and a hot tub. But either way my son enjoyed them all. Very relaxing.

My sister and I stayed here couple weeks ago. We have a couple friends who own bussinesses there so we had a great time

Only stay there because we have to due to the EAA airshow. It's 6-8 years overdue for a refresh and shows it. The internet bandwidth is not great and wi-fi connectivity is fair. On the plus side, the staff is able to keep the rooms and facility clean enough not to be outright disturbing.

When we checked in the lady was nice, got to the room and it looked good but wasn t what was described and pictured. The room we booked had a separate sitting and kitchen area but we walked into the room and everything was all together in More

This place had horrible guest service. When I called, I was either hung up on and had to call back, or no one answered. I booked several room for candidates and will never use this hotel again if I can help it.

There was crud behind the bathroom faucet not clean!!!

Room was clean and the lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Much better experience than the last time I stayed here. The bar is only open from 5-7 so not much time for socialising on site. The hot breakfast is good and the pool area is great for the little ones. The small workout room has a treadmill, elliptical and a stationary bike. Right next store to an outlet mall for shopping.

Was very disappointed. Was charged double for room. Once with cash and then credit card. Was promised reimbursement.

Good breakfasts, nice rooms, accommodating staff. The rooms weren't immaculate, however staff was able to change the comforter for a clean one.

It was an off day so no one else was there. The free breakfast was good. The pool area is great for families with younger kids.

Very nice, newly updated hotel. The customer service at check-in was perfect. The room was very clean and smelled new. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good and some of the hot items changed from day to day. The pool area is pretty decent and would be great for families with small children. I would gladly stay here again.

I've been coming here for years and it's always a good experience. The rooms are clean and the swimming pool and hot tub are always a nice place to relax.
