Baxter Theatre Review

Beautiful place, it's only the coffee that needs to be made with better love and quality and not be given in instant situations.

Love going there with frends and family to enjoy a good show or for some laughter ..lots of priceless memories made there..

World class theatre which has hosted numerous world class performances and acts. They could do a bit better on the Halaal catering for during the intervals though. Nonetheless a brilliant place to go enjoy some top shows.

Marc Lottering is the best. Vegetarian food the best at the Baxter

Wondeful atmosphere and experience all round. I went to watch the big band jazz festival, which was incredible and I would highly recommend, but the Baxter theater offers a wide range of performances all year round. There is free parking located conveniently just outside and above the entrance. The Baxter theater offers a great opportunity to support local talent

Wonderful entertainment, loads of refreshments on sale and a great, relaxed ambience.

Experience of the venue was ok. The show "The Diva and the Maestro " was fabulous!!!
Line up of talent was refreshing and the repetoire was superb!!

Good place to spend some time with family and friends enjoyimg various forms of entertaiment.

Often visit the theatre to support local acts whether musical or comedy. The venue is always clean, safe and secure. I would highly recommend this venue. Not a great selection of snacks however you'll find the essentials.

We watched " Curse of the Starving Class" and the actors did an amazing job and made the evening one of the best during our stay in Cape Town!

That was a lovely show. Am not an art person, but that art was on another level!!

I love date nights, because my favourite place to relax and LOL is at the Baxter . Oh the staff is amaizing , Aphiwe just wonderful.

If you're just like me and you love taking pictures, It's great for aesthetics, lol.

Watched a show by Marc Lottering and loved it! Bar staff and ushers extremely friendly and efficient

It is always nice going to the Baxter. The friendly staff makes things easy as both my wife and I are in wheelchairs. What I cannot understand is that we have to pay for parking but we cannot park at the top as we cannot then get to the main theater.

The sound quality in one specific show wasn't great (Nik Rabinowitz - Late Bloomer). We sat in row C to the far right and the speakers pointed to the middle. Nik was great though.

Bruh, it is insane, the baxter theatre has amazing food, it's easy to navigate and all the shows are done excellently. This place is moerse lekker. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place...the design is amazing, great atmosphere...containing stylish modern coffee shops....great venue for all sizes of events/shows. Secure parking is available.

Loved the show, the seating area and the bar area. Very well managed with notice given before the show commences. Show starts once all patrons are seated so there is no unnecessary disruptions during the show. Very clean toilets also available. Booking is essential and l suggest you go early to get safe parking in the theatre's grounds otherwise you need to find off street parking. Great shows available and you can contact their office to find out which shows are on and dates.

Great with quality seating and quality performances. It is also architecturally beautiful

Convenient place to park for Two Oceans half marathon.

Great venue for a Christmas Market in the time of covid.
