Truly awesome!!!! What an amazing ship. Really hot so be sure to bring water bottles. They have a water bottle refilling station on the boat. I'm glad the USS MISSOURI is at Pearl Harbor.

I thought that I'd enjoy the Air museum the best on this tour but the Missouri was so impressive. Since the Arizona memorial was closed it was the closest we came, but it felt very "right" to have the start of the US' involvement in the war, and it's conclusion in one place. The Arizona is well protected by this sleeping giant. The plaque marking the spot of the surrender and the documents (repros I think) were very moving. So many people gave their lives. There is a flag up on the exterior bulkhead by the surrender site, with 31 stars that MacArthur brought to the surrender - it was Commodore Perry's flag that he carried to Japan when he opened trade between our countries in the mid 1800s. MacArthur had a flair for staging an event! Tiny details thought through. You can do a tour or go self-guided as your ticket gets you an audio tour device. I thought we would be there for a short time but ended up staying over 2 hours. You get a feel for why they were called our greatest generation.

A historic, must-see site on Pearl Harbor, whether you live in Hawaii or are just visiting. The tour is interactive, and the guides are very knowledgeable and excellent sources for additional information about the battleship.

Good spot, standing on a deck and looking on guns you are feeling the power of this battleship, the only minus is that currently it is on reconstruction so some areas are closed for entry

Somber place, worth the visit, even though the USS Arizona memorial is closed for repairs, you still get a boat ride close to the memorial and the USS Missouri, and it is free, or $1 if you reserve tickets online

In Missouri Japanese guidance staff told us in Japanese (free!). We were able to learn about the ship's history such as the deca of barrels, the retirement of two times, the Kamikaze attack by the zero battle, the signing of the surrender document of Japan.

The battleship Missouri is the third Iowa battleship,
It is a warship deeply tied to Korea who had played two times before Korea.
Despite its magnificent size, the 1941 pilot, and the US Navy's last battleship, it has the world's best stature and state-of-the-art weapons,

It seems that it was used to the Gulf War. A Japanese guide will be attached for free.
On this battleship, Japan signed the surrender of World War II.
If you come to Hawaii, I think you should definitely come.

Interesting place, you can imagine what it was like with the decks full of sailors witnessing the formal surrender in Tokyo bay. You can spend a couple of hours exploring below deck and above deck. Entry includes a guided tour asking the deck

Shame on anyone for giving this less than five stars. The Missouri is a huge part of history, and they are doing an extremely good job of maintaining something so old, that sits in the salt water. The tour, and guides are excellent. The ship is enormous. I would recommend this visit to anyone. We all need to support the Missouri!

The days of the battleship may be over but at least you can experience it still at the USS Missouri. Great experience on the vessel. She is absolutely majestic and is an image of a time when no one f cked with the power of the US Navy. I recreated the famous photo of the Japs surrendering on the deck with the kids. Soaking up all the hostory would take a few months.

Every American should visit PH at least once in their lives. This is where the fate of the world changed direction. I can not imagine standing at this exact spot where I type this on 12/7/41 8am and seeing 350 Japanese planes coming from around the mountains. We can never repay the servicemen who died here. I sat at the edge of the water and stared at the hulk of the USS Arizona for hours. Amazing and unforgettable. We owe our VFWs everything.

One thing that did irritate me was the commercialization of PH. I came here for history, not for tourist trap spots selling rediculously overpriced T-shirts, trinkets, and $15 hot dogs.
