Great selection of brands, and the hot foods are nice when your in a rush.

This is an old town market style grocery store. Don't expect to find anything exotic here and it probably could use a renovation to take it out of the 80s but it does have all the staples you need to stock up. It's very popular with the locals.

Great produce, excellent meat and fish counter. Our go to place for fresh fish, and sausage.

Lots of very good in-store made products. Large selection of own brand frozen and ready to go prepared foods including soups. Also love that they are supporting local businesses by selling great quality brands like Nostra frozen foods and Kawathra ice cream.

Excellent selection and availability! Hot table is outstanding! Garden centre is wonderful! Facility is spotless.

Great Neighbourhood store. Their produce is always fresh and competitively priced. The deli has a good selection and the lady (I believe Anna) is always smiling and helpful.

This is an independent grocer with an awesome kitchen, fresh produce and a great butcher. They make some of the best sausages I have ever tasted.

This place is great! Wish the hot foods section was open sundays. I live their pasta, in house made quiche, desserts etc. Place is clean and has a lot of variety. They cater as well and I ve been pleased with their sandwiches.

You know the cashier was friendly; but the hot counter employee wearing glasses picks and chooses who she will be friendly to and who she will have an unfriendly disposition to. I never met her in my life. When you are at the front end customers expect courteous friendly service or else a customer may never come back again. She was friendly to someone she knew but not to me. Please train your staff to be friendly and courteous to all customers.

It's a nice small family run business. The prices could be better (a bit on the expensive side $$)

The grocery store is in a very convenient location in the neighbour hood, being a 5 minute walk from Lorne Park SS; making it a perfect place for students to purchase lunches or other edibles.
They have friendly staff, a wide variety of goods, a in-store butcher and chefs that sell hot meals.
Battaglia's is a great store for both students and adults.

I used to shop here a lot. Went in for a couple things and the prices are through the roof and the quality has gone down. Won't go back unless I need a quick single meal.

An amazing grocery store, they treat everyone like family and it has a LARGE selection of foods to choose from. MOST important, it is clean. I would eat of the floor in this place. If the floors and main area are this clean, I can only guess that the back area is as clean if not more!

It's an independent grocery store - there is a hug fresh produce section with raw fruits and vegetables as well as a made up trays. Which doesn't sound exciting until you see that it's a nicer mix then metro. Love the sausages and they have very nice cuts of beef. They also have good section of ice cream and ready made to bake in the oven meals.

Over priced but easy to find anything you need. Very good selection of fresh produce and meat. The older cashier's are very unpleasant to deal with so try to avoid their lane!

I ve been shopping here for a couple of years now. A great, family owned grocery. The meat and produce are as good anywhere and better than most. A good selection of pantry items that minimize the need to go elsewhere. And the staff are efficient, no nonsense and friendly all at the same time.

Really overpriced, kind of dusty, really bad produce, no variety. Good croissants though.

Been getting crab salad here since they first opened, since it became a staple at my grandmother's house. Now that she's gone, I will go out of my way for the occasional tub, along with their broccoli salad. Kinda pricy, really, but worth it. Fresh and healthy...

The hot food is usually a hit or miss. Sometimes its amazing and other times its absolutely disgusting.
The groceries are the same quality as Nofrills and Freshco but the pricing is more similar to Loblaws or Whole Foods. Its a local businesses so I will still continue to support it.

Went for hot food for lunch, and they have a great selection. Salad bar is good too. Prices are a bit high, and selection of produce is ok, not the best. Quality is there though. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

A medium-tier grocery store with prices on the higher end for its class. Good variety of products, including hot/cold lunch options. I personally have never had an issue with them, but I do hear the occasional friend complain about poor workplace conditions.
