They were so helpful! Me n my daughter enjoyed dress shopping, and found the perfect dress!

I can't speak for buying anything other than accessories from them, but man those sunglasses. I've purchases about 6 or so pairs from them and they are funky and unique AND reasonably priced. I've since moved but really regret not getting more glasses from them. Stop in if you see them!

This store was absolutely lovely. Even though they were crowded, we had someone helping us for over an hour. And when I said I didn't know whether or not I liked anything there was NO pressure to buy right away. They encouraged us to look other places and call or come in again if we decided we liked it. I'm a size 22-24 and the woman who helped us; Tiffany, was so understanding and helpful with my size. I truly had a wonderful experience, and I feel bad that I wasn't able to ultimately give them my business.

We have purchased every prom gown and homecoming dress here! They have a great selection of dresses for all budgets and sizes! Lex's is the go to for beautiful dresses! We love Lex's of Carytown!

I went to a dozen different stores before I found my prom dress at Lex's. They were super helpful and Gigi (the nice sales lady that helped me) was super patient and took my pickiness as a challenge. It was great! I had suck a great experience that I brought my best friend back to get her prom dress the next day. Gigi also helped my stubborn best friend and it turned out fabulously. We both found gorgeous dresses last minute. I will be headed back to Lex's of Carytown anytime I need formal wear.

I went with my sister to pick out her senior prom dress yesterday. My sister has purchased 3-4 dresses here over the last couple years, however this was my first experience here. Not only was the selection underwhelming but I was truly shocked by how many dresses were stained, missing eye hooks, had broken beading, or broken zippers. The employees on duty made sure to wait outside the dressing room to zip the dresses up as we tried them on, but other than that seemed to be overwhelmingly concerned with what was on their cell phones and generally inattentive.The real kicker with this experience is that I am 7, almost 8 months pregnant. Standing around waiting for a 17 year old girl to try on prom dresses can take some time, and this baby was really toying with my bladder. I asked the store employee if I could use their restroom, to which she responded that the bathroom is only for employees but informed me I was welcome to walk (yeah, right....more like waddle) to another establishment in carytown that serves food and use their restroom. I can understand not having a bathroom for customers, but when you you are charging hundreds of dollars and have a paying pregnant customer, I would have expected some common courtesy. I will not be returning to lex's and will not refer my friends and family there.

I came here to look for a pageant dress and right when I walked in the door, the assistants were very helpful. They help bring dresses that you might be interested in and help you alone the entire time you are shopping to make sure you find what you need. Great store. Beautiful gowns!

Congratulations on your successful business! Having a busy shop is no excuse for poor customer service. I am thrilled to write good reviews when they are warranted, as I did with David's Bridal. My sister found her bride's maids dress here (on a weekday evening) which is why we went there to look for my bridal dress. The dresses are beautiful, and the prices are affordable.

Grace was extremely helpful with our prom experience. Dresses are registered as well. So you don t have to worry about someone wearing the same dress

Went to shop for homecoming dresses for my two youngest daughters in mid September. 1.Go in July or August for a better selection.
2. Ask for Lisa. She was knowledgeable, friendly, understanding and accommodating. If it was not for her I would have gone somewhere else.
3. Avoid Hannah. She is a short, fair skinned blonde sales associate. She was unprofessional, uneducated in customer service, condescending & rude. My two daughters have (at minimum) ten more occasions in which they will need attire for special occasions. If I go back in and Hannah is working I will go elsewhere.

My daughter and I walked in and were greeted with great enthusiasm. A young lady named Sara helped us. She was amazing. My daughter told her exactly what styles she wanted to try on and what she disliked. Sara pulled a few dresses as we walked around and looked ourselves. She found the perfect dress for her senior prom and it looks amazing on her. The store is very organized which made it a lot easier to find the dress you want. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for the perfect dress and amazing help finding it. Also one other bonus is that there is a layaway program for people living on a budget.

Very surprised and disappointed. The variety of dresses was awesome; the professionalism of every worker was nowhere to be seen. I walked in and there were at least eight different young girls working there. I use the term working very loosely. They were more concerned with what was going on out on the street then to greet me or ask me if I needed any help. I was searching the dresses for at least 15 minutes before anybody approached me. That would be fine except for the fact that there were at least eight girls working there doing nothing but gawking out the front window giggling laughing and acting extremely unprofessional. I was willing to buy a dress right then and there except I will not spend my money in a place that is so unprofessional.I thought this was a more upscale store considering the prices of the dresses. It was disappointing to find that I felt like I had walked into A low and discount dress shop.

Whenever we are in RVA we stop in to see what's new. My wife ALWAYS picks something up from here. The staff is always very sweet to her. The selection is good and I think everyone should stop in and check it out!

Dresses were wonderful. The young lady who assisted me and my daughter was very snooty, rude and made back handed comments. She made us feel like I couldn't afford to pay for the dress out right so I told my daughter I wasn't sure if she worked off of commission so will buy the dress just not at this store.

My bridesmaids and I made an appointment to go look at dresses. The ladies there were SUPER helpful! We ended up getting the infinity dress, they helped make my girls feel as beautiful as they looked! I can t remember the girls who helped us but i would 100% go back there for any formal wear i need! Thank you so much for all you did!

Found a gorgeous (expensive) dress that I was about to buy, but the staff was so rude that I refused to spend my money there. The girls working talked down to my friend and I, completely ruining our experience. Considering that I was going to spend a significant amount of money in there, I would think they would at least attempt to be nice to me. I'll be taking my money to Caryn's in FarmVille where the staff is always so welcoming.

Amazing experience 2nd time finding the perfect dress

I was drawn into Lex's because of their bridal gown sale. I was only able to go right after work on a Wednesday and felt bad because it was so close to closing. All of the ladies in the shop were still overly warm and helpful with my search of the perfect gown. Most of their collection was Alfred Angelo and plenty of plus size gowns! As a stylish plus size woman I was thrilled! They had a wide variety and sizes, even gowns from the Disney Princess collection, absolutely amazing.

Riviera was the young lady who helped me. She quickly gathered some information about what I was looking for and proceeded to dive through the racks with me. She pulled some beautiful gowns and I tried on about 5 dresses. I had my heart set on an ivory or blush dress and there were a few that caught my eye. This was my first time even trying on a wedding gown and honestly I was a little freaked out. Riviera made it a wonderful experience and I said YES to a blush Alfred Angelo gown which I love, it does need some slight alterations but it is an amazing dress.

I didn't come into the store looking for the dress of my dreams, it found me. I later was looking at my Pinterest dress inspiration board and I had pinned the exact same dress. Overall I am thrilled with the experience and was so excited to take my dress home at such a bargain!

Terrible service. Lady yelled at me and burst in my fitting room while I was trying on a dress. Please save yourself the time and hassle and shop somewhere else.

This is the absolute BEST store to go to if you're looking for a prom dress or any type of formal gown. The dresses are outstanding with a huge variety, the store is all color and size coded making everything so easy to look through! also the jewelry is amazing and the staff are all so friendly and helpful! best formal gown store I've ever been in by far.
