Being able to be in the camp for 14 days is a very good experience. There is a very beautiful lake and the air is very good. I hope that I can go back there that year.

Excellent location and superb staff who are friendly and helpful! Love the choice of water and land activities! The choice of outdoor showers during the day or night helped the city girl in me bask in nature even more.
Can't wait to return in the future!

Cedar Ridge Camp is a second home to me. It is a fantastic spot for any kind of trip, with your school, community group, or up for the summer. A Google review isn't close to long enough to list how much I love this place.

We had our wedding at camp in June, and I m still having trouble putting into words what an amazing weekend we had.

From our arrival to set up to our Friday night bonfire/keg party to our departure on Sunday after the dust settled, Grayson and all the staff went above and beyond for us and we are so incredibly grateful for all their work. They are the most friendly, helpful, genuinely wonderful group of people and they made the whole event an absolute dream. Food was delicious, cabins were comfortable and the camp itself is seriously magical.

Our guests had a blast with all the activities: the high ropes course was busy all day, the lake was full of stand-up paddleboards there was even an impromptu archery tournament. My only regret is I was too preoccupied with the whole getting married thing to join in.

Thinking about having a camp wedding? Do it, at Cedar Ridge. And invite me.

Cedar Ridge is an excellent summer camp, the sports activities and the social activities are design to always bring the best of every camper. Self-esteem, cooperation, friendship are some examples of the things your child will experience and improve during the time at Cedar Ridge. All this including lots of fun of course!
I also like that it is a true Canadian summer camp (philosophy activities, location, buildings, etc.)
An extra for us being international campers is the opportunity to improve the language.
The directors and Staff are absolutely wonderful people always caring for the kids.

We were ecstatic when we found this place for our future wedding venue, which happened on September 7th. Mostly because of the great venue, good vibes from the staff, and activities all our guests could do all weekend. We were floored by how amazing the weekend turned out to be. First, Grayson and his staff are amazing people, very amiable and lively, and professional. They set up camp activities for us, made and served amazing food, served at the bar, cleaned up and helped our guests settle in. Then there was the amazing views that the main reception and lodge gave us for our wedding, as well as on the dock and lake pictures that we will always look back to with yearning! Finally, all our guests enjoyed the vibe of the camp, it was clean, fun, lively, with an AMAZING reception dinner! I cant give enough stars to this place, we will definitely be back with groups summer or winter. We very highly recommend this place either as a wedding venue or for a group activity!

I would like to express my gratitude to Grayson who is the owner of Cedar Ridge camp for inviting our family to spend three fantastic days at this beautiful property by the lake. This man puts his heart and soul in everything he does at this camp. He has so much love and compassion for every single person at this place. Grayson s upbeat personality creates very fun and energetic atmosphere.
This camp has five periods each day (one hour each) and kids can choose programs they want to participate in. There are many programs to choose from such as archery, puddle board, woodworking ( my kids loved it) kayaking, canoeing, high robes, horse back riding, crafts, swimming, and many more. Staff who is leading the programs are very well trained and they interact with children in a very friendly way. I strongly recommend this summer camp to any parent who wants their children to spend more time outdoors, learn new life skills, and become more independent individual.

My kids have been going to Cedar Ridge every summer since they were in elementary school. They are now in their late teens. This camp has defined what summer is for them.

Initially, ten years ago, as a parent I was terrified about sending my little kids to sleep over camp for two weeks. On arrival on the first day of camp, my worries were quickly dispelled by the genuine kindness of the staff and their obvious commitment to the kids' physical and emotional well-being.

The camping and sporting skills the kids learn are excellent. The activities that the kids undertake are thoughtfully designed and age appropriate. There is a deliberately crafted sense of community and acceptance. Everyone is welcomed. It is clear that bullying and cliques are not going to be part of the Cedar Ridge experience. Tales and songs from the campfires are legendary.

Make no mistake, this is a true Canadian summer camp. Things are rustic and there is more wilderness than city in this place. Your kids will see field mice, racoons, deer but hopefully no bears! The lake's water is cold, but perfect once you get used to it!

While I have never been surprised to hear my kids tell me about how much fun they had at camp, I am always eager to have them back home. It's not only because I miss them, but I get to see the immediate benefits of camp. They return fit, healthy and just a bit wiser. How so much can change in just a few weeks is always a wonderful discovery.

Cedar Ridge camp is extraordinary. Send your kids.

Cedar Ridge has been a part of our family for several years. How else would you describe a place that looks after your children with such commitment and care.
My girls have come back from Cedar Ridge consistently better by leaps and bounds. The only agenda the camp has is inclusion, decency, safety and fun. That's not from the web site, but from my kids when I ask them to tell me about it.
Apparently the food is better than at home!
My only issue is that my children are now too old to return.
If your on the fence about sending your child here, then give them a call, or ask them to put you in touch with me or my kids. You only have to talk to anyone of the staff to know what a great place this is for children.
Sorry for gushing but it's not often I come across a place that is 5 star in every aspect.

One of the best places I have been to. I would call it a second home.We go there for a school trip every year. I went in grade 5 and kept coming back for the next for years until I graduated. It is a place filled with fun adventures and a place filled with people who will acceptance you no matter what. I am truly sad that this will be the last year I will be going back there but I will cherish these memories for my life.

My experience at Cedar Ridge camp was excellent. It was one of the most inclusive, supporting times of my life. The staff was so kind, and there were no problems with any one of them. The food at the camp was delicious, and they always had dietary restriction options, as well as enough food for everyone else. The campground was beautiful, and it was just an overall great experience.
