Visually beautiful building. Nice to explore. Currently under renovation but didn't hinder the experience.

I liked Bath, but the tourist attraction has taken some of the charm away

Magnificent ceiling and stained glass. Wonderfully maintained and still a place for peaceful prayer even with all the tourists.

It is small but the stained glass windows are some of the the best I have seen. It is free all they do is ask for a donation. The decoration on the outside is pretty cool too.

Had a lovely tour around. The staff were very welcoming.

Magnificent old church, but especially worth taking the "Behind the Scenes" tour. The assembly point for that tour is next to a tower tour (don't confuse the two).

Looks very impressive from the outside, never had time to have a look from the inside though.

A fascinating still-functioning Anglican abbey. We were fortunate enough to visit while some of the church officials were there, along with very helpful laypersons who were polishing the brasswork found all over the interior. We learned about the crypts you see set into the flooring, the main benefactor of the church and his tomb, and the plans to start heating the church using excess water from the adjacent Roman-era baths.

Great place! One of the attractions of the city, which is worth a visit! Gothic lovers will not leave you indifferent! If you did not understand the music for S. Bach's organ, then look and listen to the organ in the original!

Very impressive building and lots of good picture opportunities. The constant passive aggressive bullying for you to make a recommend donation is a bit much though. I was planning to give a donation anyway but constantly being reminded to do so and having touch card machines everywhere with "touch to make a donation" us too much.

There is a few entrance but there are interesting aspects to visit following the guide.

The abbey church and the entire city are always worth a visit

The lovely bath Abbey pay a symbolic price that give you access to visit the interior of the Abbey.

Very good tower tour done by two men on 13th Jan at 2pm.

One of the most astonishing churches I have ever visited. A real monument of time, faith, and Christianity. Bring binoculars with you to admire the unique art on the windows.

A beautiful Abbey! Visited here with my family yesterday, the queue to get in moved quickly so we didn't wii to long and admission is free! The Abbey itself boasts incredibly high and decorative ceiling as you'd expect and amazing stained glass windows!
The Abbey is currently undergoing some renovation work - Underfloor heating is being installed which utilises the hot water from the thermal baths!
There is a gift shop at the end where you can pick up some cool lithe trinkets

Looks nice from the outside. Highly decorated, with a stone-carved Jacob's Ladder on the frontage.

Go on the tower tour (if you can cope with a couple of hundred steps each way). Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides.

Absolutely adore visiting Bath. Gives me a feeling of contentment.

Very late review, as this happened in April, but the staff and service here were amazing. My husband proposed to me here and the staff did an incredible job to make it personal, romantic and creative. Our guide was so knowledgeable and helped to make our day incredibly special. I would definitely recommend a trip here, whether you're a couple, group or family just based on how much the staff know. Thank you for helping to make our day so beautiful and memorable though and it will stay with us forever.

Very beautiful cathedral. On the outside it is beautiful, a pity that I could not see it inside, so I can not comment on the inside.

I loved visiting Bath Abbey - it is a gorgeous cathedral, with lovely stained glass and amazing gothic architecture. I enjoyed my tour here even more than Canterbury Cathedral!

Lots of history to see, unfortuntly had to visit when renovation work is going on, friendly staff, tower tour ok if you are interested in bells & clock works thus the value for money is decided based on your interest (or not) in that, abbey ground floor is lovely even with the renovation work going on

In the square next to it you can listen to live music.

Great view from the roof over Bath.
Unique is the ringing and how it can be operated by hand.
From the way to the tower also great view through the vault in the nave down.
Down in the church there are unique grave slabs on the walls and on the floor where the deceased are briefly described. An insight into the time and probably the last memory of otherwise long-forgotten people.
Impressive.

doesn't matter if you're spiritual or not, this is a tranquil place to visit! I love the build that has stood the test of time, and still looks in splendour

The timings are important as they will not allow otherwise. Some construction was happening inside so did not enjoy much

Historic church that is located in Bath. This church is free to visit, but donations are highly encouraged. When walking in the staff greet everyone and hand out pamphlets that tell of the church's history. The stained glass in the church is extremely beautiful and full of religous imagery. The church is undergoing construction right now so it can be cramped in there during visiting hours. Overall a must see in Bath.

This is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever been to. The fan buttressing is exquisite and the wood carving on the choir stalls is amazing.

Nice place to visit. But if you want to see something roman..go to Rome. The abbey is great inside and outside.

Beautiful Abbey. Worth a visit. Don't forget to look down as well as up!

Beautiful architecture and carvings. Truly stunning to see! Very busy area with lots of activity and live musicians. If visiting Bath then it's definitely worth stopping by the Abbey.

The areas on display are impressive however half the abbey is hidden due to renovations

Good, but I did not see all of it as there was a lot of restoration work going on, but I had a lovely chat with the clergyman there who was very helpful with the history of the Abbey. Nice shop too.

Unfortunately this appears to be a huge constuction site right now.
