Toilets were really bad, broken toilet roll holders, loo roll all over the floor and water all over the floor and sink counter. Drinks a bit expensive and change machines swollowing coins. Great range of arcades and super atmosphere though!
Slightly overpriced if I was picky. But absolutely brilliant atmosphere having had my 2nd date here. Okay I m gonna be honest don t come here for the food as I would give that 1 Star.

Been here a few times, it looks and feels fun, but then you struggle to find a clean table by the bar to have a drink before game. Staff are pleasant.

The Hollywood Bowl in Basildon is always good for a laugh, have always found the staff approachable and friendly.
Asked out my ex the night I came here, looking back that's probably why she's now my ex. On the flip side absolutely thrashed everyone that evening so you know all in all a good night.
Met there for a drink before a meal, there was about 20 people at the bar, and only one staff working behind it. Left after waiting too long.

Large bowling ally with amusements, cafe and bar. Is a little pricy and crowded at peak times. Lanes are maintained well, and atmosphere is good.

It was me, hubby and 6year old daughter. We had fun but my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and danced each time she threw a ball...my hubby and i couldn't stop laughing. It was our best outing as a family in a long time.

This place was a great place to hang out on Saturday night. We had a great game of bowling and the place comes with a fully equipped bar, snacks and also arcade games.
The VIP section was good. Fun for all. We had a good day there. Great for birthday parties.

Seem to be coping well with the current restrictions, things went smoothly once our lane was available but we had to wait 15 mins for the lane, despite being told to arrive on time.
We arrived at 11:30 and queued to ask for a lane for two, to be told that it wouldn't be available until after 1. This seemed a ridiculous waiting time for a bowling lane. My advice, book in advance then maybe you won't too suffer a pointless drive.

Really helpful staff though always busy, very friendly and fun atmosphere with plenty of disabled access. Been here often and easy to book online via website or by phone.

Food is ok for this type of place, don't ask for the low carb burger it confuses the hell out of them. At 1pm they had run out of onion, really, what about all the burgers ordered that afternoon and evening?.
This is the third time that I have complained about the prizes in the amusements they are rubbish I recently went to another bowling alley and they had cabinets full of gifts from sweets to a scooter and bikes. I have thousands of tickets but you have no gifts worth having.

Great day for the kids but make sure you pre book lanes as it is very popular and gets busy very quickly. Food isn't much to shout about but loads in the surrounding area.
When my son's 14th birthday venue left us in the lurch, Basildon Hollywood Bowl was there to save the day. Easily bookable online, great customer service, and my son with his friends had a great time.
Great for the kids had a bad experience eating a while back but ate there today and it was good for what you pay.Not a great choice of beer on tap.
