Small park with no grass. It does have the highest natural point in Manhattan.

The entire building, save the Lobby, smells of freshly baked weed from floor to floor and the sounds of live music leaks into the elevator as it passes by. I Freekin Luv this place!!!
I record at wonworld studios they are very professional and talented and the owner also has a digital media room on another floor perfect for listening sessions.. video shoots..or interviews it really is a one stop shop
The changes they have made are amazing. I love this place.
Godzilla Can Never Be Too Thankful For Those That Also Love Godzilla...
They say it's haunted, the area is shady hold on to ur purse n watch your surroundings whomever u visit must come down to open door
Access is difficult if you don't have a key (no buzzer system). Elevator is scary.
Been renting rooms in this place for 10 years. The reason I give it 4 stars is the history and the ability to play music as loud as you want whenever you want in this iconic NYC building. 24 hour access.
The decor isn't really all that pleasing around the place, and even though they did paint a few years back it could use a true power sand and paint again. The bathrooms also need a real overhaul. The elevators 'usually' work, though sometimes hard to find someone to bring the freight elevator up/down late at night.
Regardless of that, it's a true gem. I really appreciate that this place is still here for us musicians. I wonder if it's considered a 'historical' building yet. Hope so as I'd hate to see them knock it down, or sell it and turn it into something else.
This place is a true testament that music is still very much alive and well in NYC!
The history of this building alone is worth rehearsing here. Dave Mustaine probably doesn t think so but...
A rare piece of "old NY" at risk of extinction. Landlord has amazingly kept Rents somewhat affordable. Real artists have space to create.
Great Building filled with lots of musical history. If you need a studio to ply music you found the building on 8th ave and 39st
By far the most HEART of any rehearsal space in NYC. It's a second home to the musicians who work here, and rightly so.
Worked out of many studios in this building. Great history! Read up on it. It may shock you!
Great place for music. Currently creating new memories !
Great sounding equipment, can't wait to rehearse there again.
Love this place, so much history in that building. you get inspired from just going up the elevator and hearing the different sounds coming form each Floor
Old school New York rental space for practicing music and storage.
Standard but it gets 5 stars simply bc there is such a lack of this kind of space it's nice to have one at all.
