Brilliant shopping but no credit card facility's today!

A large selection of Barbour clothing with "some" on supposedly special offer. In general prices didn't seem to be any lower than in normal Barbour outlets.

Gone are the snooty staff. But the prices are still unbelievably high bearing in mind the only coats that are made in south shields are the wax variety, everything else is imported from Asia.

Been a couple of times when visiting my sister. Always end up buying something. Great bargains to be had.

Quite a lot to rummage through. Not so many bargains nowadays and their sizes always seem odd to me. Coats mostly seem to be at sale prices available elsewhere.

Well set out, great range, and brilliant pricing. Staff were friendly and the dog treats for our canine companion were an unexpected nicety. Can't praise the place or the staff enough.

Got kids jackets for a great discount staff very pleasant

Expected to see much more of wax range. Lots of clearance rubbish.

Terrible for delivery 6 hours to tip a container it will have cost a fortune in demurage

No real cheap discounts seems to be cheaper online. Hard to find as in the middle of an industrial estate

Great place to pick up Barbour gear and accessories at low prices. Can be a bit hit or miss. It just depends what they have in stock in the outlet store.
There is a full price factory store too.

Have going to this shop for years when it used to be just essential hunting/outdoors clothing now it's just fashion clothing and footwear over crowded and overpriced for what is now poor quality

Factory outlet it might be but there is a lot of overpriced, poor quality goods in there. The choice is limited too.

As this store is just round the corner from my mum I went and spent a little and got a lot of great quality clothes on my visit to south shields.
Highly recommended and great value for money.

A good selection of new and seconds. Great savings to be had but sometimes pot luck as to the stock.

Husbands favourite. Didn't have what he wanted this time but that is very unusual.

On this visit ,they offered limited of the ranges .No barbour chinos or jeans, only a navy blue tartan sqeater not the olive green ones .Overall a poor visit , as other times they have had a good range on sale .

Best yet for covid 19 precautions. Numbers in store were well monitored and they even supplied face masks free of charge. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Brilliant response to covid situation. Not overcrowded, mask were provided on site incase you didn't have one. Great quality clothing.

I love this place!! I love coming here to have a nosy around and to get a right good bargain. If you don't find anything on your first visit don't be deterred the stock changes quite a lot so you never know what you will find

Some great buys if you invest the time in looking. They also seemed to have lots of nasty tat, shirts etc to pack out the racks. Makes it more fun when you find a gem!

The outlet has some parking there is a good choice if menswear ladies and children's. There were two sections in one there was clothing that had been further reduced.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The outlet was nicely set out and clean

The shop is divided in two, full price items to the front and the chaos that is the discounts at the back. Just looking at the display is enough to spark anxiety and some of the discounts are not great. Made a purchase for my partner at the More

Fabulous selection of outdoor wear & I purchased a wax jacket which is my best friend in this cold & Very wet weather . Great for my dog walking

If you're down Shields way, pop in worth a visit. With it being their outlet, lot's not bargains to be found and at cheaper prices than in their High Street shops.

Should really keep this a secret but this is a great store if you love barbour clothing

5 stars for the outstanding customer service. I had a small repair needed on a jacket (still under guarantee) where some stitching had failed. I'm not local to the area and after ringing in advance to explain the situation, the staff suggested I brought it in and they would take it straight into repairs. 10 minutes after arriving I was leaving again with my jacket fixed. Staff were polite and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help.
