Entertainment fo the whole family. Just don't go to casino it's a rip off. Payouts is disgusting and floor service not present .worst casino ever.

A dance club, jazz lounge, casino, arena, cinema, ice rink and various restaurants to choose from... Grand West is most certainly recommended to family's and friends wanting to have a good day outing. It has so many different kinds of entertainment under one roof. There's security everywhere, making this place safe for young and old.

Not the best place to take your family on a Friday or Saturday night. Place is over taken by teenagers with the worst manners. But during the week or early afternoon it's always a lovely place to unwind and eat or many other things. And shuttle buses makes parking very satisfying.

Went to watch a show in the Arena. Great experience, well organized, ample parking, easy in and out.

The place is exceptionally glamorous and entertain people of all ages. All restaurants and hotels are classy and of high standard. Grand West deserves world class rating!

I was here for a conference on Karatbars International. Came away totally excited about saving. The venue was great. The only issue I have is that having to buy your lunch at the eateries could take to much of ones free time.

Stay away!!! You can get much more enjoyment for your money somewhere else. The pay ratio is ridiculous as show by the attached photo. The machines are set to take what ever you willing to give. No free spins or mysteries. The few staff members very impatient and dissapeared as soon as you blink and you still want to ask something.

GrandWest is an entertainment destination to the maximum. From the moment you enter the premises you are welcomed by staff that are trained to make customers feel like royalty. The gambling areas consists of thousands of machines, hundreds of tables and separate smoking areas. For those not interested in gambling, there are many other options to choose from like ice skating, cinema, live show restaurants, ten pin bowling, wonderland - style slot games, and much more. The entire venue can be accessed by wheelchair and there are disabled bathrooms available. The stay at the hotel is another 5 star rating on its own. Awesome experience, highly recommended entertainment for all ages.

Best place to relax, have fun or have an outing with the children, family or friends. Casino is a good place to relax and enjoy yourself. The children or even the family can enjoy the ice rink, tenpin bowling and the amusement area. The live shows they have at the grand arena is a must if you are close to Cape Town. GrandWest is always very clean on the inside and shops as well. Very good place to spend the day.

At the moment the place looks like a ghost town.casino is open.a few food places open.parking for mvg holders open.also parking areas are cordoned off.when u get to security a screen test is done.do brace urself.good luck

Shop layout is nice and spacious, the added sinks to wash your hands when done eating is awsome...

GrandWest the place to be drove all the way from Bredasdorp to Grandwest for a couple of shows and after the shows played a few slots, the place is absolutely AMAZING!!

This is a go-to hang out place, whether with your friends or family. Love the ice skating rink.

Very safe place to visit with kids. Entertainment centre for kids very good. Ice skating facility excellent. Lots of gambling machines and tables. Does not pay that well at the Casino though. Eating facilities great. Ten pin bowling facilities. Lots of shows and also Hillsong church functions. Love the diversity of services offered.

I particularly liked the staff which were appointed to the parking lots. They were visible and there was no need to be looking for the parking machines to pay.

Fantastic event venue. Daily Voice Diamonds and Divas concert was the bomb!!!

Attended the Michael W Smith concert it was awesome must just add did not like the Arena i felt at one stage so scared as so alot of people streaming to get outside ..also im taking about me personally ..it was my bday on that day ..i received ticket for a gift and i was sick with flu ..coughing and i was told to take my waterbortle out the place full ..1 cup of water not on do something about the water story.please ..i was sitting right on top ..to come down all the time just for water ??? My opinion..

Great place for a weekend of fun. Laser Tag, bowling, arcade games, ice skating are just a few activities you can enjoy here. They often have special events happening which are also worth checking out. Oh and don't forget the casino :) There isn't a wide selection of food here, mostly fast food. There is a spur restaurant for a nice sit down meal but the rest are take away.

The service we experienced today was pathetic. We had to stand in a line just to find out we may not enter without our ID's, but people with children were allowed in. No social distancing at all. Rules could have been made clear at the main gate. Time wasted, and after all this we still had to pay our parking ticket.
We traveled far just to be disappointed.

This place has consistently been a great spot for family entertainment. Wide range of kids activities and eating places make this ideal for birthday parties or even just get togethers

I just love being at grand west i find myself more comfortable. All the amazing food mostly the friendly stuff wow am one of the guy who don't make friends that easy but? #grand west stuff become my friends sometimes i just go there to have a drink so that i can have a chat with one or two of the duty stuff@ I love you guy's

Honestly Grandwest standard has gone below zero!!!!!....this thing of hiring anyone that's looking for a job and not people who are passionate about the hospitality industry is truly hurting the experience us guests. You ask a question you get a sub par response of getaway from me. Workers are soooo rude. Unnecessary snarky comments as you walk past. Stereotype comments and looks which just ruins the whole experience for everyone. We tried to brush it off and ignore it but we were Soooo disappointed honestly

It's a shame this casino is the best the Western Cape has on offer (and yet the Western Cape has much more beauty and adventure than a casino to offer) because it could (and should) be so much better.

Some of the staff were excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant enough.

Problem is:
Blackjack tables in the smoking casino stop dealing from 4-10am.
No liquor is available after 2am and, although I gamble less than twice a year, I find the combination an absolute killjoy, in particular if its the final destination of a birthday party..

Another thing is that high stakes blackjack players are not served beverages on the house.
They should be.

Although I will never recommend Joburg for any reason, probably, the service and gambling facilities are streets better.

Great place to visit with various vue offerings for the entire family. If you do not enjoy overly crowded places, avoid over the end of the month.

Lots to do like ice skating, games and movies for kids. Gambling for adults. Large variety of eating places and live shows. A real treat.

Very beautiful place to come and unwind. It is beautiful inside and outside, very green and clean. There's a hotel and enough safe parking around. When you enter you tale about 3 minutes to go through the sanitizong stations and they take down your details to keep track of everyone who's there so that's good. The mall is very because and diversified. The restuarants are accommodative to both kids and adults, there's a casion and another entertainment side for kids and adults. The prices are quite affordable and they have a September special for bowling for R40 a person. Ice skating is R50 per person so you can go there on a small budget and still have fun.

The available restuarants include, KFC, Steers, Spur, there's also milkylane, great for the weather.

I would recommend this place because it's an all in one stop that includes many different things so you will definitely enjoy yourself.

Well after a very long and thirsty drive, one can't even get free coffee or tea in the mvg lounge anymore. But at least I was lucky enough to have won a few Rands.

The service you get here ,is out of this world ,they treat their customers with love and care. They're so welcoming and polite.
